We loved this resort! We had a few glitches with learning how to set the air conditioning, but staff was very accommodating. Housekeeping left the door unlocked twice!! Not good, but security was on it, and I expect that they fixed that issue immediately after we left. Tours to the rain forest and Arecibo were booked directly from the hotel, which was very convenient. When Arecibo was unexpectedly being painted and therefore CLOSED, the tour company reimbursed us appropriately.

Loved the hotel for the most part...only reason I didn't give it all 5s was because the shower really sucked. Almost no water pressure and the hot water was not consistent. But that is my only complaint and my other friends staying at the hotel said that their showers actually had too much water pressure so I think it just depends on your room.

What a FIND! Was a little cautious about going to Puerto Rico. That resort surely changed our mind. GORGEOUS and so accomodating. I have a bad knee and was disappointed about having to walk so far to pool and main restaurant area. No worries! The trams are everywhere and they are so nice.
Breakfast buffet was super and fresh.

we had never stayed at a resort before, and gran melia, on our particular dates, was one of the cheaper ones we found online. Stay here! it's like paradise. the staff is very friendly and the grounds are amazing. super relaxing, though obviously after 3 or 4 days it would be boring. the restarurants, however, are quite expensive, and not so amazing...

we stayed at the St Regis Sept 3-10th for our 35th wedding anniversary and my 60th birthday.Words can't describe the beauty of this property.Sure the rates and food are high but we expected this from a resort of this caliber.The rooms were spacious and well appointed.The food was excellent at all the resturants we eat at.Above all the staff was friendly and professional and we can't thank all of you for making this a memory of a lifetime for my wife and I .If you eat at Fern on the property and are fortunate enough to get Gianluca as your wait-staff you won't be disappointed.He is a great conversationalist and very professional.Thanks again everyone and keep up the good work.
