Description
On the Coastal town of Setubal, 40 kms from Lisbon with Panoramic views over the city and the river Sado.
During 2009 we began the process of remolding our rooms. All the process is now completed. And we changed to 4-star hotel
And because the details are important, we also refurbishing the Breakfast Lounge. Therefore, our breakfast have another taste!
The Hotel has a Panoramic Restaurant. While enjoying the views over Serra da Arrábida, São Luis and the Castles of Palmela and São Filipe, you can taste the finest of Portuguese and international cuisines in the hotel's restaurant on the 8th floor.
All the rooms of the hotel are well equipped and have balconies or terraces with views of the river and city. One room is designed for guests with physical disabilities. The hotel offers car rental and bicycle rental for guests wishing to explore the area. Parking is free on the hotel's property.

The hotel is very well situated for the ferry to Troia, shops and centre of Setubal. Our room was on the 5th floor, the disadvantage being that there was a constant background humming noise probably from the 'Casa das maquinas' located somewhere on the same floor, mainly noticeable at night. Breakfast was average but adequate. However, everything else was fine, good value for money, including breakfast, would recommend.

With 14 floors of residential suites and luxury rooms and a faade that communicates with the other side of the river using an innovative lighting system, The hotel includes a Spa with over 70 different treatments, a unique kids club offering both indoor and outdoor activities, 2 roof-top swimming pools, restaurants designed by the FSSMGN architectural studio and a lounge bar that are true design spaces, an Entertainment Centre, Casino(opening 2010) and a Conference Centre.
General: Amorim Turismo acquired several works of art by contemporary Portuguese artists to create the Tria Design Hotel Collection. In the Hotel lobby, a visitor will immediately be impacted by one of the most prominent works of current Portuguese sculpture, the Cinderella sandal, created by the artist Joana Vasconcelos. The B&G Restaurant features the well known artist Pedro Cabrita Reis, who created a set of paintings specifically designed for the location. For the rooms and suites, the curator Miguel von Hafe Prez selected a set of 250 works by 44 artists, with artistic expressions as varied as painting, photography, design and a special project in vinyl.

Description
A "Nature & Golf Hotel" inside a natural / park "Arrabida" not far from the village center, where clients can find a lot of shops, restaurants, bars, wine cellars, etc. A friendly atmosphere, decorated in a typical Portuguese style, with marbles and wood furniture and typical Portuguese Arraiolos Carpets. Large outside green areas, including a swimming pool, tennis courts, esplanade. 46 rooms, bar, restaurant (for groups), tv and living room, internet corner. A good choice for leisure or business, in a quiet location and close to all major business and/or entertainment locations. The hotel amenities are: banquet facilities, concierge, currency exchange, internet access - high-speed, laundry service, lift / elevator, lobby, reception, restaurant, room service, smoke-free hotel, swimming pool - outdoor, tennis court.

We unfortunately arrived on a day when the hotel was short staffed and had to wait until 6pm to get into our room, but the receptionist made sure that we had drinks in the very pleasant reception room. The problems that the hotel were obviously experiencing from being short staffed did not affect our comfort. The bedrrom was a very good size, well furnished and the hotel as a whole made for a very relaxing break. Within easy travelling to Sesimbra and Portinhos and very near the Adegas which were open to the public we would say that we had a very enjoyable stay there, and would recommend this hotel. The breaksfast was adequate and the whole setting of the hotel was what we had hoped for
