The Hotel was entirely restored, comprised 5 floors. The apartements have their own fully equipped kitchenette, air conditioning, heating and telephone directly to the exterior. Great ambiance and comfort provided in modern 35 apartments + 8 Standard Rooms. The chic 3 stars apartments at Hotel Apartamento da Se, are decorated with warm and inviting colors. On the top floor, lay back and relax in the Bar, where one can admire the stunning view over the mountains and the bay of Funchal.

Description
The Aparthotel Imperatriz is a small family-run establishment conveniently situated in the most upmarket district of Funchal, adjacent to the famous Madeira Casino and the Madeira Congress Centre (2 minutes walk). It is also 5 minutes walk from Funchal harbour as well as close to some of the city's finest restaurants and bars.
Facilities include a snack bar, restaurant, games room, business centre, small library, winter garden, freshwater swimming pool with a sun terrace affording breathtaking views over the ocean, private garage, 24-hour reception and a rent-a-car service.

le receptionniste nous montre sur la carte le terminal des bus nous sortons donc pour s'y acheminer mais le receptionniste nous rattrape pour nous faire part dune erreur dans son renseignement

Très bel appart-hôtel, très bonne prestation à tous les niveaux, propreté, accueil et situation pas très loin du centre ville, parking et piscine.
Proximité de nombreux restaurants et surtout en bas de l'hôtel restaurant avec de bons produits et des prix modérés. Donc entière satisfaction pour cet hôtel

Description
Only 750 metres from Funchals Old Town, tucked away in a large garden, this beautifully restored Madeiran mansion and its modern annex provide you with an intimate retreat.
Offering only a small number of studios, the Molhe Hotel - Conde Carvalhal impresses with its location and delightful atmosphere.
There is free Wi-Fi and free garage parking.
The public areas are tastefully furnished, and what you would expect to find in a traditional quinta.
Hairdressing and a variety of beauty treatments are available in the hotel.
All studios with kitchenettes are located in the modern annex and are spacious and comfortable.
The old town of Funchal is only a 5 minute walk, with a huge choice of restaurants, bars, the local fish and vegetables market, and the cable car to Monte.
A continental breakfast is available and costs 7.50 per person, per day.

Nous avions réservé une chambre avec kitchenette côté jardin et l'on nous a mis côté mer sans supplément alors que l'hôtel était pourtant complet. Tout est parfait, le personnel, l'accueil, la surface des chambres, le confort et la tranquillité toute la nuit. A 10 mn à pied du centre ville, on se croirait en pleine campagne la nuit tant l'endroit est calme. Quant à ceux qui parlent des chiens, il y en a partout sur l'ile, mlais la nuit on ne les entend pas !!
On recommande et je n'ai pas parlé du garage fermé mis gracieusement à disposition !
Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous ne serez en rien déçus.

Spectacular panoramic views over the city and harbour can also be found here. The is complimentary access to WI FI from the bar. (DDS 04/10) This is a modern style building and laid out in a cellular honeycomb fashion. The hotel is located in the heart of Funchal. It is just 400 metres from the Funchal's "Se" Cathedral and other main points of interest such as shops, restaurants, bars, museums.

Located on a quiet street right in the centre of town, 5 minutes from the coast, 10 minutes from the bus station, and 2 mins from a big supermarket.
Our room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly.

This property is a great value for money. Swimming pool with beautiful views of Funchal, car park for those renting cars, this property is ideal for couples and families. (AB03/07) This is a historic building with a total of 45 rooms. Perhaps one of the top located hotels in town enjoying panoramic views of the bay of Funchal, the ocean and the mountains. The city centre can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.

The Da Se Apartments are in the heart of the picturesque old town. Funchal is a good mix of old and new with 16th century architecture sitting alongside the more modern developments. The marina and Lido are popular areas, as are the many gardens and markets. The aparthotel has plenty of cafes, shops, restaurants and bars in the surrounding area and a stunning rooftop terrace bar with panoramic views of the city including the nearby Old Se Cathedral. This accomodation will appeal to couples and families. DDS 10/08. Century-old building, entirely restored, comprised of 5 floors Situated in the centre of the city of Funchal, in the Historical area of Se, 50 meters from the Cathedral, close to the Sugar Cane Museum & House of Conde Joao Esmeraldo. The marina is within walking distance also.

This hotel has a small roof top sun-bathing area with a few sun beds and panoramic views over the city and the mountains. This hotel is definitely a top pick among many visitors to the Island due to its excellent location, conditions and friendly owner. (DDS 03/09). The property is housed in two traditional Funchal-style buildings. Definitely one of the favourite family-run hotels in town with a spectacular location in the heart of the city centre, close to an amazing variety of shops, restaurants and bars. This property is good value for money due to its central location. Please note that the that reception service works from 9:00 to 19:00 after that time they have a door communicator service which works in connection with the reception of the hotel tropical that has a 24h reception service. Upon arrival guests have to press the button at the door and from Tropical they will open the door and will give all the check in instructions to pax. (DDS 09/08) This is a traditional building. Idealy located in the city centre in Largo do Chafariz, next to the Se Cathedral.
