I travled to lisbon with my elderly grandmother. This Hotel had easy access to the Airport and subway. The elevators were a little narrow, but we found that to be true around the country. They had a pretty decent breakfast, it did get mundane though. There are several small shoping markets in the area to by food in water if you do not want to go out. I would recommend this place to other travelers and would go back again.

The hotel was very good. Good location opposite metro and ok to get to from airport (even using local buses). Only suggestion is that there could be tea making facilities in the room.

The Staff were very friendly and it was a perfect location for what I wanted to do. I only had breakfast with them but it was to a very good standard. The front desk staff were very helpful with suggestions about trips and also contacting transport people for my return trip to the airport . All in all, a good choice for a single sightseer.

Everytthing at the hotel was fine and comfortable but at the same time everything in the room was dated and worn. It was nicer than your average hotel but not truly a 4 star experience. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean.

La ubicacin es bastante buena, a un paso de Marqus de Pombal, en un barrio tranquilo en el que es fcil aparcar.
La habitacin es cmoda y amplia, aunque conviene asegurarse al entrar que no hay ruidos extraos. En la nuestra sonaba un motorcillo toda la noche que puede llegar a ser molesto.
El desayuno es variado, tanto en dulce como en salado, y el personal muy amable. Todos hablan espaol.

Wir waren 6 Nächte im Hotel, welches optisch einen angenehmen und durchgestylten Eindruck macht. Leider wird bei der Funktionalität im Fontana-Room gespart.
Es gibt für 2 Personen einen einzigen Haken im Bad. Toilettenpapier steht auf der Bürste, eine separate Halterung fehlt.
Der Umgang mit Wasser ist auf Grund der Armaturen recht unökologisch. Wenn man sich mit warmen Wasser etwas die Hände waschen will muß man den Hahn immer voll aufdrehen, da erst dann warmes Wasser kommt.
Im Zimmer muß man eine Ablage fast ganz räumen, um den kleinen Wäscheschrank zu öffnen. Die zweite Ablage ist ein Schreibtisch, bereits mit einer Lampe und Telefon versehen. Es gibt keine weiteren Ablageflächen oder Schübe bzw. Haken.
Alles in allem machte das Zimmer einen schon recht abgewohnten Eindruck, obwohl erst 4 Jahre offen.
Am Besten reist man nur mit Kreditkarte und Zahnbürste, dann reicht der Platz. Für längere Aufenthalte leider nicht geeignet.

bien que le quartier soit bien, l'environnement immédiat déçoit: l'hôtel n'a que trois étages mais il est situé dans un environnement d'immeuble de 8 ou 10 niveaux et de plus l'entréee est située un demi niveau plus bas que la rue.

We were in the hotel for one night only but we were delighted. The receptionist were friendly, helpful and informative. The room was clean and homie, nicely decorated. Breakfast: great variety and delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to answer our questions and help us get to the places we wanted to see. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean and well maintained. The location was also good since it is 1 block from the bus stop and a metro station.

hôtel de centre ville (3 stations de métro) très correct au niveau de la chambre, propre et agréable. Par contre le personnel à l'accueil n'est pas très disponible; mieux vaut ne pas avoir de renseignements à demander. petit déjeuner assez pauvre, avec une seule personne (bien dépassée) pour gérer tous les clients. Il faut parfois attendre bien longtemps pour avoir de l'eau chaude pour le thé ou pour que les containers à café et jus de fruits soient réapprovisionnés.

I found that the premises looked good and the location is very convenient. The room was pretty but service was not great, as our rubbish bin was not emptied and carpets were definitely not hovered throughout the 3-night stay. Coffee was lukewarm and not freshly brewed, just ordinary instant coffee - otherwise good breakfast selection.

Das Hotel liegt optimal zwischen den Metrostationen Anjos und Intendente (ca. 3 Minuten Fußweg). Haltestelle der Electrico 28 in gleicher Entfernung. Optimal für alle die eine Stadterkundung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln planen.

Tired and very basic. We had to ask for a bulb for the bedside light, the shower attachment to the wall was broken, there was no plug for the bath and none available in the hotel. Towels were old, one had a large rip in it. It needs urgent refurbishment. We go to Lisbon fairly regularly and would not consider using this hotel again.

We went to Lisbon to visit the city and its historical sights. The hotel is located right next to a bus stop which takes you to one of the central squares of the city. From this point you can get to most places of interest by taking either a tram or another bus or the metro.
Also a short walk will take you to the metro station from the hotel.
Take a cab from the airport if you are not familiar with the city. Bus #22 from the airport will get you close to the hotel but unless you know where you are going it's a challenge to get to the hotel (unless you are a very good map reader and can orient yourself after you are dropped off by the bus).
Rooms are very small and the hotel staff is friendly. Staff is able to speak
English and answer simple uncomplicated questions. Bathroom was adequate. Everything was in working order but not fancy. Complimentary breakfast was good - same fare every morning. Coffee was delicious!!
The neighborhood around the hotel itself is safe - not many restaurants however, nor any night life.
For a basic place to stay where your focus is on sightseeing and coming back to the hotel only to sleep it fits the bill and the pocketbook.

Très bon petit hôtel avec un acceuil

Très bon petit hôtel avec un acceuil vraiment chaleureux. Hôtel sympatique et assez bien placé (juste à côté du métro et en centre ville). Un petit jardin au 2ème étage vraiment superbe. Je recommande ce pouso d'autant plus qu'il va être rénové au mois d'août 2010 donc climatisation et accès wii fi seront les bienvenus.

Is is very well connected to all transports. It is an ideal basis for business or pleasure. This hotel offers a high standard as well as services and functional facilities.

This is a great place if you like modest accomodation with a touch of eccentricity and a local flavour. If you like sleek anonymous international hotels, this is not it. Here, the lights don't always come on in the stairs, the windows don't always shutter down in the bathroom, and the breakfast is basic- but who cares if the place has atmosphere? And the receoption staff are very friendly and the wifi at reception is solid. It's only 7 minutes walk from the Avenida de Liberdade as well.

This residential enjoys a perfect location and it is good value for money.
mp 09/08 Purpose style building. The residential is on the first floor. This residential is located in downtown Lisbon, close to the underground station and public transport and the famous 28 bus which will take you to the cathedreal, alfama, graca and the cathedral.

Excellent, clean room. Very quiet location, but near to Metro and various sites. We thought it was a great value for what we paid. Be sure to enjoy the buffet breakfast value!
