Amazing hotel and food!

Stayed there while attending a horse show in Lisbon. Absolutely amazing hotel and fantastic food- including vegetarian selections. Gardens, pools, main hotel (Palace) were the best. Clean, great service, and made you feel like a million bucks!

Comfortable rooms and a great restaurant but a bit far from downtown

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel da Estrela. The standard room was large and comfortable. The shower/tub was designed a bit awkwardly. You kind of had to climb into it and it was hard to keep water from splashing everywhere. The TV only had Sky News or the Cartoon channel in English so bring a good book to relax. We had several enjoyable meals in the restaurant downstairs. We ended up eating there rather than traveling to downtown Lisbon. The Rato train stop was just down the hill but it did take about 25 minutes to get to the major sightseeing area so keep that in mind. The staff were all very friendly but the front desk staff could use some training to help guests find there way around town and sites. One major issue we had was that there was no wireless in the room. We had to go to the lobby or bar to access the wireless.

Hotel com quartos espaçosos e bom pequeno almoço. Esta é a minha segunda estadia neste hotel e tudo correu bem. Da 1ª vez fiquei num quarto muito próximo da ponte e da linha de combóio junto ao rio o que me impediu de dormir devido ao ruído. Aconselho pedir ao funcionário do check-in para ficar num quarto com pouco barulho!

Hotel near the tram and bus lines that take you straight into center of town and only a minute taxi ride from the Congress Center. Cute flea market in park nearby on Sunday.

The room was very large and modern. The breakfast was the best and the staff could not have been nicer! We walked to many sites right outside from the hotel.
