11th Century Archbishop's Town. Many religious buildings. University Center. Famous car racing. Holy week on Easter. Very good culinary tradition. Located near Gere's Nature Park. Required extra bedding is free in rooms shared by up to two children 14 or under and two parents/grandparents.

This is a good hotel for its categories and suitable for all type of travellers who wishes to enjoy Braga from the heart. mp 11.08 It is a high rise building typical of downtown. The hotel is located in the city centre just nearby the main attractions.

This is a well located hotel and it is suitable for all type of travellers who wants to enjoy Braga from the heart.There is a swimming pool on the roof terrace with a very nice view of the city. (10/07 mp) It is a high rise building, typical of downtown. The hotel is located in the city centre of Braga just nearby the main attractions.

- 5min walk to center.
- Large rooms. One of the better in all our stays in Portugal. Use the mini fridge to cool your own items.
- Staff was helpful in printing a convulted train connection schedule to Obidos for us. This took them a little bit of time to do but it won us over on recommending them.
CONS
- Probably difficult to find on your own due to a somewhat oddly located entrance but every taxi knows it.

Description
In Bom Jesus hill, you can find the Hotel do Templo, a small charming unit, completely new, and very well fit in the surrounding green park. Offers a bar and living rooms, a conference room for 150 people, an indoor swimming pool, a health club, and above all things, an amazing atmosphere in one of the greatest sightseeing spots in the country.

Es un hotel enclavado en un lugar excepcional. Todas las instalaciones están en perfecto estado y corresponden con su categoría, excepto las habitaciones, con un armario decimonónico y estética pobre en general. Una pega muy importante es el desayuno, NO MERECE PAGAR LA DIFERENCIA. Enfrente del hotel hay un bar donde dan de desayunar a un precio excepcional y con una calidad muy buena. El buffet de desayuno no tiene variedad y lo más importante: cuando llegas a desayunar (un español), hacia las 9:00, ya no hay ni café, ni fiambres, y hay que estar pidiéndolo y esperando. NO SE OS OCURRA COMER O CENAR EN EL RESTAURANTE ELEVADOR. Es carísimo y la cena es muy mala, lo único porque un día queráis disfrutar de las vistas panorámicas, que son excelentes, pero es excesivamente caro y la comida muy grasienta y escasa, nada comparado con los restaurantes que hay encima del parque, que an de comer barato y con muchísima calidad.

The hotel is very nice and without no doubt one of the best in Braga. 11.08 The exterior is traditional early 1900's resembles a large mansion. In the Bom Jesus natural park, home to the most unusual water-powered elevator, built in the early 1900's and still operating today. This hotel is next to this fabulous monument, being in the heart of the Costa Verde, this hotel is particularly attractive because of its beauty and because is located within all monuments and places of local interest in this area.Braga city centre is 3 kms away and Porto, 40 kms away.
