Perfect vacation getaway!
Look no further. This is the best hotel in Los Cabos. Book it. You won't be disappointed. The hotel is simply gorgeous. Every detail is taken care of so you can just relax and enjoy yourself. Upon arrival, we were greeted by name and given fresh fruit popsicles. We were given a short tour of the hotel, shown to our room and then assigned a personal butler for just about anything we wanted. Our room was spacious, well appointed and the view was simply breathtaking. From our balcony, the ocean was a stone's throw away. Wife really enjoyed the spa experience. The food is delicious and the view from every restaurant is picture perfect. Beaches are clean, well-maintained and beautiful. Wife loved the spa experience. Highly recommended! We can't wait to go back!

Outstanding resort and service
We stayed at One and Only Palmilla for a week in March 2013. We typically stay in 4 and 5 star hotels, but even so it was a splurge. I was not disappointed in our choice. The juxtaposition of the Sea of Cortez and the desert/mountains made for a truly beautiful backdrop. Our greatest enjoyment came from watching the whales from the pool each day, and I'm not sure I'll ever have a bigger thrill that being 20-30 feet from them while on a paddleboard. The service was without flaw, and I felt that the staff was truly friendly. We thought the food, although quite expensive (plan on $100 lunches), was terrific and particularly enjoyed the little free treats that we passed out poolside and brought to our room. The fitness center was quite nice, and the cost of personal training and classes is included in the resort fee. The spa was lovely. I would forgo the cost of a transfer by the hotel ($140 each way) and get a cab ($35). Next time I think I would probably rent a car a explore Baja Sud a bit more. Two minor complaints -- I found the shampoo/conditioner etc . . . very nice and pretty, but it is difficult to extract conditioner and lotion from them. Also, housekeeping would occasionally forget little pieces of trash (sugar packets etc. . .) on the floor and was not particularly good about keeping us stocked in coffee pods, tea, etc . . . Nevertheless, these were minor inconveniences and will not deter us from returning at some point. The One and Only's reputation is well-deserved.

best of the best
absolutely hands down the best resort i've been to. The staff is beyond exceptional....on a league of its own. The grounds are immaculate and lush greenery everywhere. The views are breathtaking, a postcard from each angel. The staff greets you by your name and everyone always salutes you with the "hand over heart". I mean, the gift shop sells Balenciaga, Ferregamo, C. Louboutin goodies just to name a few. You'll def spend a pretty penny BUT, the One & Only provides free water, beach bag, snacks, bicycles just to name a few.

Relaxing, Pampering Experience
From the moment we arrived until we departed, every need was met and we only have praise and high recommendations for this special resort. The meals are a bit over-priced for the quality. While we understand that Pamilla is a top-end resort. $28 for a martini seems a bit extreme. The staff are the most polished and professional and every person greeted and responded with a smile and wonderful attitude. A great team!

Tremendous Property
Service is incredible. All resort facilities are ultra luxury. Only aspect which needs improvement is the dining. Jean Gorges should be embarrassed to have his name associated with the restaurants as they are both well below par. That being said, you don't go to Mexico for the food.

Overbooked!
I'll preface these comments by adding that I've stayed at the Palmilla before, as recently as last September. The experience has always been fabulous. The grounds are beautiful and the staff delivers the top level of service you could only hope for on a vacation getaway. Unfortunately, my high expectations were not fulfilled on this trip as I arrived at the Palmilla to discover that they were overbooked and that I would be spending 2 out of 4 nights of my vacation at another resort. I travel frequently and understand that this sort of thing happens; however, it is very disappointing when it happens on your vacation! I've reduced the rating based on this abbreviated experience alone, but based on my prior expereinces, I would rate this resort 5 stars.
