Welcome to Sherborne Motor Lodge, a 4 star motel within 1.5kms of the city centre of Christchurch (a comfortable 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive). It is our aim to make your stay with us a comfortable and enjoyable one.
Our 10 units have wireless internet access, as well as well-appointed kitchens and bathrooms. Some apartments have baths or spa baths. All our units are clean, spacious, and decorated to a high standard. We offer a variety of self-contained units from studios to larger one and two bedroom units. Off-street parking and guest laundry facilities are available, as well as Freeview Television in all rooms.

Sherborne Motor Lodge will be undergoing extensive renovations commencing Tuesday 11th April 2012. The work is expected to take ten weeks.

Description
All the suites are located off a central atrium area. On the ground floor there is a large Mediterranean style fountain and internal courtyard. This suite complex is in a great location in close proximity to many of the cities tourist sites as well as business/trade venues. An excellent choice for either longer staying tourists or business travellers. SE0109 A seven storey building, refurbished in 2002, all suites have balconies with views overlooking the city. In the centre of the city less than 10 mins walk to Cathedral Square. Also close to Hagley Park and the river Avon. The city Casino is less than two minutes walk. It is almost next door to the Christhchurch convention centre.

Very pleased with my stay. A suggestion would be that UHT (minimum) milk was supplied in the fridge. I arrived late and for those who do not have hot drinks without milk a problem as we had to wait to go into town in the morning.
I have never stayed in accommodation that was so quiet. It was great. I will recommend this accommodation to my friends. My company would not have entertained this accom at the normal price though - sad but true.

We stayed for one night on arrival in Christchurch at the beginning of our holiday and were extremely pleased with every aspect of the hotel and service we received.
Well located in easy walk of the city centre. The service on reception was faultless, nothing being too much trouble. The room was modern, comfortable and spottlessly clean and most importantly quiet, resulting a goood night's sleep.
Overall exceptional value for money compared to other more expensive hotels we have used on previous visits.

Hotel offers Complimentary passes to offsite Fitness centre and Golf Club membership with Clubs. Children 17 and under stay free if sharing room with parents or grandparents, when no additional bedding is required. Rooms with bathtubs available on request. Rollaway and crib available on request.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful suite. The staff was extremely hospitable. The facility is so well situated that we were able to walk to a play at the Court Theatre on Friday evening and to a concert at the Town Hall on Saturay evening, not to mention an easy walk into the town centre. We've stayed at the Chateau Blanc Suites before, and we will definitely stay again. Keep up the good work.

Hotel up on the top of the Terrace in Wellingto. Great location if you want the top end of Cuba Street - a bit more of a walk if you want the cake-tin - but generalll good hotel

Our stay was excellent, we felt right at home, the staff were very helpful in every respect. The Alexandra Court Motel is located close to the city centre, with shops for supplies & takeway food within a short walk. Apartments though a little dated in decore are spacious,fully equipted, very clean and comfortable. I recommend this hotel especially as great value.

Just out of central city but very quiet. The rooms and furniture were plain but very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was exceptional (large, with table and chairs)with excellent facilities -also the bathroom, complete with bath! The hosts were most helpful, friendly and supportive (I was visiting a sick son)and I have been recommending the motel to others.
