Only stayed one night because of an early train, but for that purpose it's perfect, right next to Utrecht Centraal railway station, no nonsense room with bathroom and tea (and coffee)-making facilities, exactly what I needed from it.

Un hotel très propre, avec des chambres très agréables avec écrans plats.
Le service est très agréable.
Il faut par contre prendre le bus ou faire 20 minutes de marches depuis le centre ville pour arriver dans ce quartier huppé d'utrecht.
A recommander.

Conveniently located within the centre of Utrecht (not to be confused with the 20 storey NH Utrecht next to Utrecht Central Station), about 400 m from the nearby shopping mall, 250 m from the Dome Tower. On Saturdays, you have the flower market next to the church in front of the hotel. There is a lso a market closeby to the Hoog Catherijne shopping mall, about 300 m from the hotel. One thing that we don't like about the room is that it is NOT well lit, only one small downlight in the room, so it can get pretty dark when the curtains are drawn. Bathroom is small and cramped. You can get better deal for breakfast at the brasierrie cafe nearby. If you are a vegetarian, you can get some Falafel Kebabs (Chickpea Kebabs) at the nearby store (70 m away).

staff was friendly and efficient, but they didn't have any record of a pre-payment of my hotel bill by Orbitz.

Apollo Hotel Utrecht is located right next to the Vredenburg Square in the heart of the city. To the rear of the hotel is the old city with its famous canals, subterranean vaults, museums, many restaurants and of course the tower of the Dom. To the front of the hotel is the Utrecht business quarter where you will find the convention centre, the Hoog Catharijne shopping centre and the Central station surrounded by a commercial area. Public transport stops right in front of our hotel and there is the option for safe (enclosed) car park in several nearby parking structures.
Apollo Hotel Utrecht City Centre boasts 90 renovated rooms from which 34 Executive rooms. Each room features a spacious bathroom with bath and/or shower. The rooms are modern and comfortable and every one comprises a cosy seating area, television with film channels, telephone with Internet access, WIFI, writing desk, free coffee and tea making facilities, hairdryer and a safe deposit box. The Executive room boasts a Phi-ton bed for an optimal sleeping comfort and are located un the upper floor which result in a beautiful city view.
We offer internet acces free of charge in the lounge, and WIFI acces (at charge) through the rest of the hotel.
We are extremely proud of our wonderful city! Our team is readily available to provide you with local, cultural, historical or topical advice. Upon check in we ask our guests to provide us with a credit card for the payment of the reservation.
When there is no credit card upon check in, we ask our guests to make a full payment including a deposit of EURO 20,00. Upon check out we return the deposit, when no extra's have been taken during the guest stay. Our hotel is non-smoking.
