we experienced two flaws: sink in the bathroom was plugged and a airco that did or did not work; nice feedback of the staff but no solution. the atmosphere in the hotel is tres chique. good breakfast and a nice bill when checking out. a unexpected but very handy real late chek-out. thats service!

I took a standard room during my 5 days visiting Rotterdam. I gave up in my third day in this hotel. That room presented a horrible termic isolation, so it was difficult to warm up during cold nights. Also, it presented old carpet on the floor. So the air inside it was really unhealthy to me. The PAID wireless internet is offered like Hi-speed. Far way from that. I was in several 3 stars hotels better than this one.
Good things of this hotel: Localization and great restaurant on the ground floor.

Loved the Hotel and the staff...always helpful and attentive. The bed,room,linen,towels were fresh/clean and comfortable. The carpet as one person wrote before needed cleaning and the shower was stopped up...did not come to Holland to shower or lay on the carpet so it was not a big deal...just thought they might want to know. The cube houses are just around the corner...cafes everywhere and going to see the windmills at Kinderdijk was the highlight of the sites I saw...I had a sweet Holland Tulip to escort me around the city. Even went to the Beach for blowing sand and a quiet romantic dinner..Eden Savoy will always be the place to stay in Holland...thank you

The hotel was nice, the service good and the area OK. The rooms were large and clean, but a bit dark (only 4 small lamps in the "bedroom"). The bathroom was spacious and looked new, but there was no heating in the floor.
We did not hav time to visit the fitness sentre in the basement. We did not try the breakfast either, as we found 16ā¬ p.p. to be a bit high!
The hotel is located not fare from the city centre, and it is just about 5 miutes walk to to the main shopping streets. A taxi to the central station was 7,5ā¬, and there are also several options of public transportation not fare from the hotel.

10 minutes walk to the center of Rotterdam, average hotel with ok value for money. Good choice for a short stay close to the heart of the city.
Parking is offered at a cost in a separate location, some 100 meters back on the same street at Mathenesserlaan 177. Be aware that if you have a large car entering the parking will be quite challenging.

Hotel fairly clean and while an older hotel, remodeling had been done. A canal and pond located behind the motel including a flock of sheep provided a pastural view. Restaurant on premises. Appears to cater to businessmen and groups. Located significant distance from the city. Convenient to airport - 5-10 minute walk which we discovered when we learned the advertised hotel airport shuttle did not operate before 7:00 a.m.

Manhattan is just across Rotterdam Central station so very convenient, staff friendly, room quiet and moderate in size for a couple. Washroom big with both shower and bath tub. The only defect was water pressure at shower too weak. I found it so difficult to wash my hair since you couldn't reach the shower head (since it was very high and immovable). With water pressure weak to that extent, I wouldn't stay there again. We reflected this comment to front desk when we checked out and the lady told us we were NOT the first to complain about the weakness of water pressure at shower.

Convenient location beside tram and Metro. Our double bedroom was tiny, with barely enough room to move around the large bed. Bathroom also tiny, with no space between toilet and basin. Good shower. Very small space to hang clothes or store baggage.
I would stay here again, but would insist on a slightly larger room!

Located only 5-10 minutes from the central train station, the hotel is close to many fine restaurants and cafes. The main harbour is a short walk away, as is a beautiful park called Het.
The hotel itself is very good. The service was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious by Dutch standards, and the bathroom was newly tiled. The only knock on the hotel was the constant noise from the trams but that's what happens when you're located centrally.
The breakfast was outstanding. There was a great selection of ham, pate, salmon mix, curried chicken, egg, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, bread, croissant. And this was included in the cost of the room as well!
There was a lift but very small. The stairs were narrow and quite steep but if you're relatively fit this should prove only a minor inconvenience. Remember, you only have to walk up the stairs once with luggage.
I recommend this hotel very highly and would stay here should I ever visit Rotterdam again.

FĆ¼r einzelne GeschƤftsreisende ein verkehrsgĆ¼nstig gelegenes und sauberes Hotel.
StraĆenlƤrm hat dank der Doppelfenster keine Chance. Fenster lassen sich sehr gut abdunkeln.
FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck insgesamt zu teuer.
Befremdlich war, dass das Hotel nur mit Einzelbetten ausgestattet ist, in der Buchung jedoch Doppelbetten gebucht werden kƶnnen. FĆ¼r Ehepaare und alle die es mit Partner etwas kuscheliger lieben, hilft es wenig die Betten zusammenzuschieben, wenn diese in der Nacht dann doch wieder auseinanderdriften.
Parkplatz kostenlos.
Preis / Leistung jedoch gut und zu dem Preis sogar sehr gut.

This hotel was adequate for my purpose. The room was spartan but perfectly OK. The dinner I had was surprisingly good and the service was good too.
There were no frills but the cost reflected this.
My only complaint was that you could not open the windows and there were duvets rather than sheets and blankets.

Very basic and a bit old. Not much around. Staff helpful but not well presented, same person helping reception helping tables. Food eatable but not great, limited selection. Buffet bad. Did not check breakfast
No lift and all rooms are exterior - door to the outside. So you might end up walking on the outside in the rain after climbing two floors to get to your room. Ask for a ground level room.
Room was clean and bed comfortable, sheets new (or ok!) but looking furnishing old, some humidity. Windows where single paned, next to major road, and not sealing well - lots of air coming through and heating not very high. This was autumn, I would fear winter in this badly sealed hotel. Also very bad sound isolation - heard noise from other rooms all the time...
For the price, spend a few extra Euros and go to the other hotels around.
Appreciated the free internet. It is a long walk to the subway (10 minutes at least).
