We went for Queens Day, so we wanted to stay right on the Vrijthof Square. This hotel was practically on the square, yet was surprisingly quiet at night. The breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and there are a lot of great restaurants & bars nearby. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Maastricht.

Staff friendly, hotel room clean and quiet, room size moderate for a couple. Though far from Maastricht train station (don't consider walk under heat, better take taxi), close to center of attraction. Tried hotel outlet for dinner, price fair and food quality good.

The rooms were very nice. I booked two rooms. one was a standard room, the other was the bigger queen. the standard is big enough for two people. The bigger one has a mini fridge. The parking lot is about 4 blocks away and the breakfast is a rip-off euros19.99 per person, definitely not worth. Maatricht is a beautiful city well worth visiting, the people are very nice & friendly, we went for carnival and had an amazing time.

Sorry, but I was hoping for a much better experience at the Eden Design Hotel. It was cold and the heaters were off, dust everywhere and when I pay this price for a room I expect to have a least furniture to put my clothes in. The lunch and breakfast all day was just a sign on the front door and not a reality. The service was poor and the food...lacking volume and taste at a hefty price. Very sexy room decorations makes this hotel a place for people that just want to stay for ONE night. And when the toilet paper is fed one sheet at a time...

Great location. Very good breakfast buffet. The room we had in the residence was good but unfortunately there was a busy road. Couldn't keep the windows open at night.

I was there to work and the location was very convenient. Literally across the street from the train station. The rooms were clean and staff friendly. Breakfast very over priced. Go across the street in the train station there is a small market, with fresh pastries, breads, yogurt, fruit, juice, etc.

Room price doesn't include breakfast, parking, local tax. This increases the roomprice with more than 50 Eur for 2 persons / night. No check in possible before 1500hrs, and with no minibar and no-room service after 10 pm not to be ranked as ****.

My husband and I were taking my parents in their 80s to visit our daughter at university in Maastricht and so needed somewhere central to stay. On our arrival the reception staff were very welcoming and gave helpful information about parking locally. Our rooms, accessed by lift, were very comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfasts were fantastic - freshly prepared fruit salad, yogurts, cereals, many different kinds of bread and rolls as well as croissants, jams, cold meats, cheeses and salmon, scrambled eggs, bacon and individually cooked fried eggs, fruit juices, teas and coffee. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely choose this hotel again.

The remarkable Golden Tulip Apple Park Maastricht is situated in a green environment, nearby Maastricht's historical city centre. You can leave your car in our closed-circuit security car park and use our special taxi service to get to the city centre, the Central Station or MECC (conference centre). This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we went to the Grand Prix in Spa. the rooms are large and clean and we had air conditioning. If you are staying here in the summer ensure you have an air conditioned room. The bathrooms are adequate and the buffet breakfasts are great. Views from the rooms are not great, but it is the convenience that attractedf us. Beds are very confortable, but we found the duvets too warm!

The place was great except that they lost our reservation so it took them 2 hours to check us in. Other problems include Wi-Fi costing about 6 euro's for 1 hour of access that has to be used all at once and city taxes not included in the Orbit's price. Great rooms though. Super clean and nice. Quick service. Even little unexpected extras like trouser steamer, bath tub heater so you don't have a cold tub and everything you can think of for the bathroom
(including sponge, exfoliator, soap, shampoo, body milk, toothbrush, comb, towels, robes, slippers). Not to mention the fridge and cable with a fare amount of english channels. I would do it again. Highly suggested for the high stars and low price!!!

Situated in the centre of Maastricht is the former Kruisheren cloister, dating from the fifteenth century. Together with the monumental gothic church, this complex has been transformed into a very special designer hotel. The hotel boasts 60 modern rooms. The nave of the church contains a mezzanine with a restaurant area. The former nave also houses reception, the lobby, three lounge corners (in the former side chapels), three modern boardrooms, a library, a glass lift and the wine bar with a very special “wine cellar” above ground.
The interior has been created by the internationally renowned interior designer Henk Vos. The beautiful pieces of light installation artwork are created by the German light installation artist Ingo Maurer. Throughout the complex, use has been made of the notable designs of masters such as Le Corbusier and Rietveld as well as modern designers like Marc Newson, Piet Heyn Eeck, Philippe Starck and Roderick Vos. These designs form exciting contrasts with the stained glass windows and the stunning, authentic wall and ceiling paintings.

Pricey but very unusual. Limited facilities, e.g., no exercise, sauna, etc for the price. Excellent but priciey breakfast as well. Hard to justify based on price and value for price, unless one values combination of upscale chic hotel in a restored monastery.

Aunque habíamos pedido una habitación triple para no fumadores, nos dieron una para fumadores en la que olía a humo. El lavabo tenía quemazones de haber dejado colillas encima. La recepcionista no se enteraba muy bien de que ya estaba todo pagado aunque en general el trato fue correcto. Buena situación del apartahotel al lado del aeropuerto. Sólo una observación, debería de tener "coffee making facilies", no cuesta nada dar ese pequeño servicio al cliente.
