The BEST WESTERN Hotel Haarhuis is a four-star hotel in the romantic park city Arnhem. In the lively center you can wander around in the numerous shops or rest in the many cafes, restaurants or terraces. Our hotel is completely non-smoking and offers 84 nicely appointed guest rooms, all with shower and/or bath, toilet, television and telephone. In addition, our fine hotel features a fitness center.

Great Hotel, Great Location

Perfect location. Across the road from the train station so I didn't need to get a taxi. Nicely decorated lobby. Free continental breakfast included with my stay, and the breakfast selection was was of the best i've had. TV had many international channels, including English and American cable channels. Double glaze windows completely blocks traffic noise outside, which makes for a peaceful room. The room itself was on the smaller side, but usual for European Hotels. Definite recommend and will stay here again if I'm in town. The only reason i gave it 4 and not 5 stars is the small room size, and there was a lot of construction going on around the hotel at the time, but i'm sure it will be finished some time soon in the future.

Very near the train station, good-sized room, but no coffee/tea-making facilities or minifridge. Breakfast (included in the price ) was very good, with some hot food, garden salad and freshly-squeezed orange juice available. Free internet access. However, price was expensive for this type of hotel and this kind of small town, maybe because it was the night of Lady Gaga concert. If this price is a year-round price, then it is over-priced.

Golden Tulip Hotel Arnhem Velp is situated near the A12 expressway, between Arnhem and Velp. It is a comfortable place for recreational trips by bike or by car to the near natural reserves as the Veluwe. The centre of Arnhem with its popular shoppingarea, its cozy outdoor terraces and its beautiful parks is easy to find. Other nearby sites are the Gelredome stadium, the Open-air-museum, the Kröller Müller Museum and Burgers Zoo and historic towns like Doesburg and Emmerich (Germany). Hotel Arnhem Velp has an English bar, a grand café and an exquisite restaurant. Our culinary products are of of excellent quality. All dishes that are prepared in our kitchen are made with fresh ingredients. With nice weather you can enjoy the outdoor terrace on the small lake. The hotel is foreseen with wireless internet, a sauna, Turkish steam bath, a fitness centre, a solarium and 7 conference rooms, free parking and secured bicycle stalls. We here at The Golden Tulip Hotel are very proud of the arrangement and quality of our hotel. But our strongest asset is our skilled employees. The check in was courteous and efficient. The staff is friendly and speaks good English. The restaurant was superb and well-priced. The rooms were a tad small, but clean. The spa was nice and the sauna was one of the best we've ever seen, but there was no pool. Overall, this is a good choice for an event in the Arnhem area and a nice play for a 2-4 day stay and the value is good.
