Best hotel in Amsterdam. However, people need to know to take a taxi directly to the hotel from the airport, don't use the train and trolley. Once checked in its easy to move about via day passes purchased on the tram.

Staff here were fantastic, this is a 5 star hotel at 4 star cost. restaurant excellent and very reasonable, we didnt want to leave.. would highly recommend and we will certainly stay again. this is one of the nicest hotels you will find anywhere and I spend

The hotel was really comfortable, the beds are big and everything's modern and clean. The huge TV, phone (with my last name on it), side bar, chairs, fridge...it was everything we needed. We didn't event want to go outside and visit the city, we much rather have stayed at the hotel chilling and resting. Excellent option in terms of value. Less than 10 minutes away from the city center by train, it's definitely a good option. Recomended 100%.

The hotel is nice and modern. The staff is very friendly and has the knowledge to any question. The location is kind of good becuase you need to get the metro and after 4 stops you will get to the center of amsterdam. All in all great value.

This hotel was small (as expected), but perfect for a one night (or more) stay in Amsterdam. It was very near the train station, in a posh neighborhood, and very comfortable. It's a little outside the center of town, but that was actually a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle. Definitely recommend!

We loved Mercure in Amsterday. It's a bit outside downtown, but the train is very easy. The hotel was clean and new.

The hotel was nice and the location was perfect. They need to work on customer's service. The hotel receptionists are not nice and helpful. They are not working together. We asked for a wake up call for the airport, they did not call us. We booked a tour with a receptionist., when we arrived by 8:45 am they told us, it was too late and did not offer to even help us. Finally we have another worker who called the place for us and ask us to take a taxi to get to the tour bus center.
Also we were supposed to have breakfast and they did not give us the breakfast.
In conclusion,we had a wonderful time and we did not let some unhappy people messed up our vacation!

Staff have a couldnt care less aproach to you and service is slow for it as if the staff are doing you a favour to serve you.
I asked to speak to the manager about the hot water and was fobbed off with i will email you about some compensation and new never contacted.

Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. About 1 km to nearest train station, which connects directly to central. Not that easy find, so you might have to take taxi here the first time you come.

For relaxation and a nice ending of the day guests are always welcome in the cozy hotel bar or smoking lounge. This lounge contains an lcd television, air-conditioning and relaxing lounge chairs. The hotel also has free wireless internet in the entire hotel. In the lobby the hotel has a computer available, for guests, for free use of the internet. Domestic animals are not allowed. Parking costs 15 euro per 24 hours.

For my purpose excellent location. Due to sitation close to A10 ringroad having the window open overnight is no option (unless on ground floor and other hotel side).
Service level could be improved: bar and restaurant close at 23 hrs although nearby course center of Landmark delivers many guests coming back to the hotel at that time.
