Hotel was very clean and modern. Staff was very helpful and spoke enlish. The hotel is located in the center of the city. Shopping and dining was just foot steps away.

This hotel is one of the finest properties in town. There is a good old time atmosphere combined with all the services and comfort you can expect from a five star deluxe hotel. Highly recommended. (SB 03/08) The hotel looks like an old house from the outside, and looks like a palace from the inside. This hotel is located in the centre of town, very close to the tourist attraction in the same street as the old market. It is an excellent location, being close to the sea as well as a few minutes walk to down town where all the restaurants and night clubs are located.

Description
This hotel offers a reasonable standard of comfort and services. The warm atmosphere gives a taste of the good days that Tangier experienced thirty years ago. There is a small garden and a swimming pool which is open during the high season. (AK 09/10) A modern, yellow building. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, ten minutes walking from the beach and the harbour.

ALL UNOFFICIAL BUT VERY SECURE.HOTEL CHECKIN WAS A LITTLE DISORGANISED BUT EFFECTIVE.ROOM GOOD WITH PINK MARBLE TOILET-A FIRST FOR US.RESTAURANT OKAY BUT DARK.BAR ALSO OKAY.ALL IN ALL A GOOD HOTEL TO STAY IN.

A perfect option for the business and leisure traveller. Its location, name, and service make it a perfect choice. The best 4-star in Tangier without a doubt. It has a pool, spa, and beauty saloon. We highly recommend it. (SB 03/08) The hotel looks like a 70s modern block, all in white. The bar & restaurant can be seen from the outside. This hotel is located on the sea walk where the majority of the hotels are. This is a superb location in front of the Tangier beach. This location allows the traveller to be within a few minutes' walk of the city centre of Tangier and its attractive Medina.

Good location, not very well run.

In general the staff are extremely friendly, but the standards set by the hotel management are too low. They accept second best as an acceptable level. This is unfortunately true of much of Tangiers.

Description
This hotel is well situated for a short stay in Tangier or for these who are looking for a good price to service ratio. It is a good product and we would say one of the best three-star hotels in town (SB 03/08) It is a typical modern apartment block built in 1970s. This hotel is located in the centre of town. It is around the corner from the shopping centre and from restaurants. It is also within a long walk from the seaside.

An excellent hotel situated in the city centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is clean and the breakfast is wonderful value.The gardens are lovely and very well kept. I would recommend this hotel for adults as it is a walk to the beach.

Ahlen 3 * hotel is one of the major hotels in Tangier offering quality facilities at highly competitive prices, good service and friendly staff. The exterior of the hotel is modern with a spacious lobby and a cozy lounge. The hotel puts at your disposal: reception 24/24, outdoor parking, business services (internet access, fax, photocopies), safe, laundry and dry cleaning, concierge, security service, newspapers, car rental , exchange, gift shop.
To relax the large outdoor pool is available with deck chairs and parasols, children's recreation program, and game room. At the restaurant Boustane you can enjoy Moroccan and international cuisine. In the evenings Ahlen hotel offers a choice with two bars, a piano bar and a nightclub where you can dance, pipe smoking or listening to the Eastern traditional music. Folkloric shows are organized in a vast "caïdale" tent.

Description
The hotel has several facilities as its own parking/garage, disco, shops and solarium. For the clients interested in sports the hotel has pool and tennis court. (SB 03/08) The exterior is a low modern building. The hotel Ahlen is just outside the city center, in the Rabat road. It is just few km away of the city center and it takes a short taxi ride.

I wouldn't stay here again due to the location. This is about 7 miles from the downtown/beach/port area. The trafic is terrible here making the commute to see anything time consuming, frustrating,& expensive.Next time (if there is one) I would stay downtown at the beach. They advertise this as being close to downtown. Not true, but it is close to the airport.
