Good location in Hivernage, away from the hussle and buzz of the Medina. In this hotel you can experience the modern side of Marrakech which is a great contrast to Medina's streetlife and souks. Hotel staff is incredibly efficient and friendly and the hotel is very good value for money.

The hotel staff were both very personable and professional. Yousef on the front desk was particularly helpful in arranging tours and transportation as well as providing insights into shopping and local eateries.

We stayed in a junior suite, which was lovely. Location very good with walking distance (approx. 20 min.) to the medina (old city/souk area). Very pricy menu. If staying there at peak seasons you have to get up eary in the morning to "secure" sunbeds. Helpful staff, however it takes time to get someone to take your orders by the pool or to have things fixed/missing towels etc. in your rooms replaced. Good value for money when booking early.

Hôtel à l'écart de Marrakech, pour plus de tranquillité. Navette de 8 h à 20 h (25 MAD par pers.). Plus tard, grand taxi (80 mad). Suite climatisée avec salon, chambre et terrasse sans vis-à-vis. Personnel toujours à votre écoute, présent sans être envahissant. Restaurant de l'hôtel de grande qualité (essayez le couscous maison ou les tajines), bien qu'un peu cher. Mais la qualité a un prix. Petit paradis où il fait bon se laisser vivre. vivement recommandé.

Le personnel est souriant, avenant, adorable surtout le concierge de l'hotel . Tout le séjour a été admirable. A refaire absolument!!! Au niveau ménage dans la chambre c'est pas tout a fait impeccable pour un 5 etoiles dommage .

I just returned from a FABULOUS trip in Morocco. I was with a friend, and we have very high standards for hospitality. Kenzi Menara Palace was a dream come true. The grounds are perfect. The architecture and art are stunning. Best of all, concierge and host Sharif made our trip a genuine Moroccan experience. I wish I could stay at Kenzi Menara Palace forever. We booked online, and you will definitely not be disappointed. You will really feel like true royalty at Kenzi Menara Palace. I cannot wait to return.

Nous avons apprécié l'amabilité du personnel et des animateurs de cet hôtel. les chambres sont spacieuses, les buffets sont variés et de bonne qualité. Nous avons été enchanté de notre séjour dans cet hôtel, son emplacement est un peu éloigné de la ville, les navettes mises à disposition des clients sont donc très utiles.

Les +: - localisation très centrale au coeur de la Medina à 2 pas des souks - cadre sympa, beau Riad, beau patio et terrasse très sympathique pour le petit dej - personnel aimable et propriétaires également - chambre bien équipée et bien décorée - bon petit déjeuner Les -: - c'est pour tous les riads pareil mais l'accès se fait par de minuscules ruelles sombres et pas forcément propres et on ne peut pas y accéder en voiture et c'est même très difficile de se garer dans la médina - à notre arrivée à 21h30 personne pour nous ouvrir, c'est un client qui l'a fait (le garde était parti accompagner un client au taxi mais n'avait pas prévenu) - pas de porte entre la salle de bains et la chambre !! - Riad très difficile à trouver sans un guide (aucun panneau)

un accueil chaleureux à tout moment de la journée. L'emplacement du Riad est à 15 mn de la place, proche des tombeaux saadiens. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres. Belle terrasse extérieure. Belle décoration...

Nice rooms, Aljazeera English was available. Breakfast was decent and the rooms are nice.

I stayed here this past August with my fiance for four nights and it was wonderful! If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place to go to! The staff were very nice and friendly, willing to do anything to make you happy. The pool is great for the hot weather and most of the guests stayed there during the day. So if you want to get a lounge chair, get there early to reserve your favorite spot for tanning. Also, the rooms are very charming and clean. They all look out to the pool. Breakfast every morning was breads, jams, tea(if you want mint tea you need to ask), coffee, cereal, eggs, pancakes and a lot more! Enjoy your stay. Im going to stay here again this February.

This is a great hotel and ideally located for both the old and new cities. The staff are very helpful and polite.

L'emplacement de l'hotel est incorrect sur la fiche de description. Il est situé très en périphérie de la ville de Marrakech, au delà du quartier des hôtels de la Palmeraie, c'est-à-dire à plus de 20km du centre. Il y a bien des navettes organisées à heures fixes selon nos réservations de la veille, mais très peu pratique. Hotel très agréable en groupe ou famille pour un séjour de type "club med". Préférer un hôtel du centre pour un séjour de tourisme découverte et culture. Les repas-buffets sont passables et à l'européenne.

L’hôtel est a 15km environ de la ville ( il y a bien une navette incluse mais peu d’horaires dans la journée et trop de monde--> on peut se retrouver en ville un soir sans moyen de transport ou taxi a 10€). Les repas proposés sont passables (on mange mieux et nettement moins cher en ville!). Le spa et la salle de sport sont payants peu importe le type de pension, La piscine n'est pas chauffée, elle est carrément froide. Sinon l’hôtel est plutôt beau, je conseillerai un hôtel plus proche de la ville.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming and authentic riad. The place is lovely with attractive furnishings, a courtyard full of orange trees, birds and a fountain.The staff are attentive, courteous and delightful and the food is delicious. However, taxis cannot go to the door because of the narrow streets( so you have to walk about 200 meters to get there), and the hotel is in a poor residential neighborhood ( dark at night but seemingly safe). You must be able to walk a ways to get anywhere and must have a sense of adventure. We would definitely go back to the Riad des Orangers.It is about a 10 minute walk to the the marvelous souks and about a 20 minute walk to the big squares.

The Riad has a good location within Medina,but it is very hard to find and easy to get lost.Unfortunately the locals can be intimidating when asking for directions and usually ask for money.Best to get directions from the hotel owner and also for them to arrange airport transfers which is about 15 euros each way - well worth it.The hotel can also arrange tours of marrakech and visits to the Sahara desert about 400 kms each way

Nous avons passé quelques jours fort agréable au Riad Assalam. L’hôtel est situé dans le quartier ou nichent les cigognes, voisin du Mellah, le quartier juif, à cinq minutes du palais Badi et à dix minutes à pied via les souks de la place Jeema el Fnaa. Le personnel est attentif et attentionné! Catherine, la chef est très chaleureuse,Hosni est parfait de patience et de volonté de satisfaire aux envies des clients du riad. La cuisinière est une magicienne. On est comme à la maison!

Had a great time, This Riad is in a perfect location within easy walking distance to the main square & souks. The staff here were amazing and always willing to go out of their way to give you ideas of where to go, what to do and how to get everywhere. The rooms were lovely and the rooftop was amazingly furnished The Riad Nora is definantely somewhere i will stay again.

Hotel à rénover d'urgence(plomberie,fenêtres défectueuses). Personnel aimable. Emplacement pratique. Petit déjeuner trop banal et peu varié

This was a beautiful riad, a short stroll from the central square and all the fab shopping. The staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and we had one evening meal with them which didnt have any choices but was fantastic morrocan cuisine.

le personnel est souriant et attentif aux besoins, chambre agréable, la riad est bien située, au coeur de la médina, pas très loin de la place principale, pas de nuisance; le ptit bémol: un partie ombragé sur la etrrasse (ombrelle ou autre) serait un plus pour profiter pleinement de la terrasse en pleine journée.

Ce Riad est fort bien aménagé et situé, même s'il est difficile à localiser (mais dans la Médina, il y a peu d'adresse simple et facile à trouver). Riad confortable, tout près des souks, de la place et des principaux lieux touristiques de la ville. Accueil fort sympathique, chambres fort bien décorées, terrasse sympa. Un bon souvenir

O hotel é bastante razoável em termos de relação preço-qualidade e não é nada longe do centro.( 1 viagem de taxi para 5 pessoas custa 5 euros). O pequeno almoço é bom e houve sempre música ao vivi. Cuidado com as excursões que são vendidas no hotel porque fomos a Essauira e o motorista fez 1 grande desvio para passar tempo e levar-nos às cooperativas onde tinha comissão e na verdade há sítios onde se compram os mesmos produtos por 1/4 do preço. Se possível vão de taxi que é muito mais barato. De qualquer modo voltava a ficar no hotel.

The hotel itself is very nice, and trendy and also happens to be one of the few places that serves alchohol and has a night club, so attracts young people. The Sky bar is grea and has heaters so if you do get chilly, the staff will happily put them on for you. The price of alcohol, I thought was expensive, so we just bought wine from the supermarket to have in our room. We had several issues, which the staff took a while to resolves, notably the lack of hot water for three days, which considering we were there for 4 days in november wasn't brilliant. We did get a room upgrade though, but that rooms heating / aircon didn't work, neither did the fridge, neither of which were fixed. We also must have been right over the night club as you could hear the music 3 stories up until 2am. Other than those niggly things very well located, 15 mins by bus to the airport costing 30 dhrs. Food was very well cooked, they have a hamman which we didn't use. Its good value for money and does what it says on the tin!

The room was on the small side, but was stylish, modern and clean. The air-con coped with temperatures of over 40° c outside. It didn’t live up to the fridge like standards of coldness my partner had experienced in Dubai earlier this year, but I thought it was fine. The hotel is on a busy junction but we weren’t bothered by road or traffic noise at all. The rooftop pool is small but a great place to swim with views over the city and to the Atlas Mountains, again it was clear and towels were provided, although the number of sun beds is a bit limited. We didn’t eat in the hotel except for breakfast, which was again fine, selection of fruit, pastries, bread, and omelettes, served on the sixth floor restaurant or the terrace by the pool. This is a white room with white furniture, and windows over the terrace and pool. We never drunk enough to have a hangover (see section on the bar below to know why) but even so walking out of the dark lift into the blinding light was a rough awakening every morning. With a hangover it would be horrible, so if you are drinking the night before be warned! Other meals in the restaurant were a lot more expensive and having pushed the boat out on the hotel we tended to eat in the Medina, or sitting outside at small cafes in the nearby side roads, where the food was excellent and about a quarter of the price of the hotel. Many of the cafes and shops around shut at around 5 in the afternoon, and then don’t open again until 9, so wait till its later and cooler before heading out. The bar is expensive too, over £20 for an indifferent bottle of Moroccan wine, but its on level seven and has great views over the city. It also seems to be where a number of well to do young Moroccans hang out and drink, so great for people watching too. Staff were generally friendly, but not all had the same level of English and we did have the odd communication problem. Airport transfers were arranged efficiently if more expensively than a local taxi, however the promised early morning alarm call didn’t turn up, good job we had set an alarm. The hotel is well situated in the centre of the new town, right on a main shopping street and by a bus stop, which was a quicker and cheaper way of getting to the Medina than haggling for a taxi. We were told it was a 25 minute walk to the Medina, but that seems a bit optimistic. It was however so hot and the busses were so easy that we didn’t try. You can walk to the rail and ‘Suprabus’ coach station in about 15 minutes, and its 15 minutes by taxi to the airport. Finally, an unexpected delight is the lift, with a kind of Arabic disco theme: dark with mirrors and colour changing lights, truly fabulous!
