Great hotel, great location, great service!

I was surprised at how good this hotel is for the price. It's a newer hotel quite near the historical center of Puebla, maybe a 10-12 minute walk to the zocalo, just across from the convention center. The room is large and quiet, there was a table with chairs, and the king size bed was SO welcome after sleeping in smaller beds around Mexico. The staff is excellent, every one of them --- some speak English, all provide great service. The room included a "continental breakfast" which turned out to be large and delicious. The hotel displays some excellent Talavera pottery in the public areas, and some in the guest rooms. It's a great choice for Puebla.

This hotel is very beautiful, clean and in a perfect location to explore historical center of Puebla. People working here are really nice and breakfast (included in price) was good. Overall, excellent value for the money.

Our late check-in was guaranteed. The staff was very courteous and helpful. One gentleman was very forthcoming and helpful with directions to the Suzuki dealer where I had an appointment to have my car serviced.
We had reservations for only one night but decided to stay one more night. Fortunately, there was one room left. The staff provided us with all the extras we needed for the smaller room.

Sometimes we would walk in or out, and there would be Mariachi players. The last day, they played during breakfast. They scrubbed the room and bathroom every day at great length, as if they were your weekly maids. Probably, continental breakfast is included, but we were family and friends, who gathered every morning for the breakfast buffet, to sit and chat and catch up, and eat and eat.

The NH is perfectly located 2 blocks from the Zocalo (central plaza in historic district). The staff is very helpful. The room is immaculate with extremely comfortable beds, a large bathroom with an excellent walk-in shower, a good selection of free and pay channels on the TV, and fully adjustable climate control. Best of all, there is a large parking structure on the premises. At about $100 per night on special, NH Puebla is a superior value.

Is a small hotel with 12 rooms, very comfortable, affordable, clean and economic with an outstanding location either for pleasure or business travelers. It's located only 3 blocks from the Zocalo and the Cathedral and 2 blocks from 11 south Ave. one of the fastest and longest streets in Puebla that will take pretty much to all places. Staff speaks little English, however, they really try to help. Room was clean and had mini fridge & microwave, but no chairs. There were chairs in the patio, though, and we sat there and used our laptop. No good reading lamp but the staff brought us one when asked. There were no glasses, and there were no glasses even when asked. Very different from American hotel, but very Mexican, and very sweet.

Can't beat the value nor location. Just steps from the cathedral and with a good restaurant. Across the street and a few doors down is a great pizza place (as in Italian-style pizza, wood oven baked, etc.). Everything there is to see in Puebla is walking distance. Ambiance is wonderful. Room was ceramic tiled everywhere. The only issues are that restaurant doesn't open until 8 am, the street noise and exhaust from motorcycles/scooters comes into restaurant (Be sure to take a seat away from the windows.), and there isn't always hot water. I would stay here again.

The hotel was charming and the room was very nice.
The room key system was not working properly, causing us to waste time on several occasions, having to go back to the front desk.
Only two members of the hotel staff spoke much English.
The food in the restaurant was good, although the food was not very warm in weekend buffet.
My girlfriend and I both liked the Hotel Puebla de Antano and would stay there again.
The hotel was good value for the cost. The location, near the zocolo, was fantastic!

La Alhondiga is now an elegant hotel that is considered one of the oldest buildings in the city built in the colonial Puebla. We reserved two rooms which turned out to be very small and nowhere near as nice as the information on the website. When we complained they offered one large room which would comfortably accommodate all of us. I was not really happy with that arrangement but then the hotel said that they would give us a partcial rebate for the second room. That seemed like an acceptable arrangement but then when it was time to check out the hotel refused to provide the promised rebate. To my mind that is very questionable serivice. The hotel was not really bad for the price but I could not honestly recommend it to other if there were any other options.

The Best Western Hotel in Puebla could be very deceiving for an American traveler. Being an American chain, the Best Western Hotel in Puebla lacks typical American hotel standards, such as A//C in rooms, T.V. remote control, iron/iron board to name a few. The hotel badly need some renovation, and room upgrades. It is affordable but not the best option. we stayed for only one night, so it was okay, but would have stayed at another place if I was thinking of staying for longer than that.

El desayuno buffet continental se sirve tarde y en partes. Anunciado a partir de las 7 AM en realidad empezó a estar disponible (una parte) hasta las 7:15 AM y finalmente hasta las 7:45 AM ya estaba servido completamente.
Sugerencia para todos los hotel de esta cadena: favor de incluir café descafeinado.
Para ser un Hotel Clase Ejecutiva (para gente que trabaja) el desayuno debiera servirse a partir de las 6:30 AM como mínimo.
Esto también beneficiaría a los que visitan la ciudad en viaje de placer.

My friend and I found the hotel staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. I had been to Puebla several times in the past, but the hotel staff directed us to some wonderful, new restaurants. Hotel El Sueno is located in Puebla's historic district and situated within several blocks of the Zocalo, with a nice selection of sidewalk cafes, museums, fine restaurants and other attractions. We were provided a very memorable stay at a clean, comfortable boutique inn.

Seorial Hotel is located downtown, where the Historical Centre area attracts thousands of tourists. It is only 4 blocks away from the catedral and the zocalo or central park. Located on the most famous street, (artesian Pueblan candy), the same which holds the House of Revolution (house of the Serdan brothers)

Great location for a cozy petite hotel!

Hotel location was great and was quite close to all of Puebla's major downtown attractions. It's a nice petite 3 start hotel type in my opinion. Only a couple of issues: My reservation name/last name was mispelled so they had a hard time finding it. The Front desk agent who checked us in was kinda questioning the rate I had prepaid through [...]and ended up calling his manager over the phone to confirm info and you can only watch one channel in the room's t.v, other than that everything else great, very clean hotel though...

We had a late check-in and were expected. The room was fairly modern and the beds were comfortable, however, there was construction going on outside and a jackhammer was uses off and on the whole night. We would have liked to have a chair in the room to use the writing desk. Two bottles of water were provided free of charge but no glasses in the room or bathroom. Also it would have been nice to stock the bathroom with some toilet paper, only a few sheets remained on the roll. The breakfast which was included was skimpy, no juice available. The price was great so for this reason we would still recommend the hotel.
