perfect location, just a pair of things, there was only one bathing towel in the room and the hallway to get to the room smelled smoke of cigarrette as if several people were smoking, but the room didnt smell.

I definitely recommend this hotel. It was nice and clean, I arrived early in the morning and I was allowed to check- in before noon, plus the girl receptionist was very kind and professional, pretty eyes too.The room was almost clean although, the bathroom was perfect, it had everything I needed and a free bottle of water.

From the standpoint of convenience to business and the American Consulate, this is a great choice. It is 2 blocks from the American Consulate, has 24 hour security and surveillance cmeras. Service at the Front desk is phenominal. Worst I can say is housekeeping did not leave me a washcloth. When I asked it was delivered immediately. This is a great business type hotel. Business center availabe 24/7, WIFI worked great. If you are looking for luxury, this is not it. But for business travel it was superb. Very well priced. Staff Bilingual.

This hotel is very nice, especially for the business traveler who happens to need easy access to the Cintermex exposition center. This could not be a more convenient location. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and can fluently communicate in English. The only negative comment is regarding the hotel's restaurant. The food is mediocre at best, especially the buffet breakfast which is quite expensive. The service in the restaurant is extremely slow as well particularly in the mornings. There are not too many options in the immediate area but if you don't mind walking to the downtown area or have a car you'll be quite satisfied.

Unfortunately for me, I gorgot my papers at home with the reservation, etc so I couldn't prove them that I hadd paid you on October the 26th on the amount of $96.92. I called early this morning (January the 4th) and spoke to [...]in accounting at the hotel Asking her to contact you and corroborate that indeed I already paid you. Meantime I hads to pay twice. Pleasant Stay in a Foreign Land

Let me start by saying I don't speak Spanish. The whole trip was pleasant. The language barrier was kind of thick but things worked out. Only a few staff members spoke English. It was occasionally inconvenient to use nouns and gestures to communicate. Especially in check-in and check-out times.
The hotel was clean and beautiful. They have a small garden with a pool and a hottub. You can see the mountains of Monterrey from the hallway off your room. Room service was decent and usually took forty minutes.
The room's wireless internet was slow. Which was sometimes a good thing. A reminder that I was in vacation and that the inter-world can wait a few days. The room was spacey and tidy.
The staff was helpful and friendly. They knew me by my first name. They hook you up with taxis; every time I needed a cab, they'd radio one in and explain to them exactly what I wanted to do.
I recommend this place.
Please, if you decide to take a taxi here, make sure that the driver knows you are talking about the towers and not the hotel. They are five minutes apart.

The hotel was under renovation and did not look inviting when we pulled up. The beds were very hard. The restaurant was terrible. We ate there most of the time because the neighborhood did not look too inviting to go strolling in. I had a club sandwich and it was the only descent thing I ate there. Others said the burgers were good also. The buffett was terrible. One in our group got sick twice after eating there. Very few people could speak any english at all and no one in the restaurant could speak any english. I do not recommend this place at all.

The building is beautiful and the service first class. It has a relaxing central patio and a nice pool and gym. I had a few reception issues with the internet reception, but the hotel helped me resolving them. All of the Monterrey hotels I have stayed in, this ranks at the top.

We booked this hotel because it was close to the airport, not for its "tourist" location. We arrived at the hotel late. We were happy to find that their small Restaraunt was still serving dinner. Unfortunately we did not know upon arrival that they offered FREE shuttle service to/from the airport. The taxi from the airport was very expensive. Take advantage of the hotel shuttle! Our rooms were clean & nice & the staff was very helpful. We liked it so much we booked a return stay a week later.

Poor Choice for Foreign Travellers

The hotel is in a horrible area not meant for foreign travelers. The entire area is filthy and not safe to walk around in at night. The rooms have central air-conditioning that can only be controlled by the hotel staff and they frequently turn it off, especially at night. I had to call several times for them to turn it on. The beds have worn out mattresses that gave me terrible back and neck aches. Of the two computers available for complimentary internet, only one was working and 99% of the time it was occupied by someone who would use if for several hours. Overall I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. I have been in this industry for 25 years and must say that this was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had...Don't go, especially if you are a foreigner!!

There's no parking and no elevators, be sure first if the shower has hot water and get some extra bottled water, if you go for a walk or shopping check if your room hasn't been assigned to other guess, be prepare to ask for extra towels in the morning.

Since you pull into the hotel's driveway you feel a very pleasant atmosphere. Employees at this fine hotel are not tip-chasers. they are true professionals. I'm a very picky traveler, and I can assure that the service here at the Sheraton Ambassador is second to none. Not exhuberant or fake, just perfect.

We checked in late (11pm) and it seemed that they gave us an unready room, no Minibar and bathroom amenities, I think they thought we would go no longer and got our room to someone else.
I didn't like that are not stairs, if you want to go to a different floor, you have to take the elevator.
Breakfast and service in general was good.

Fun times with my future wife

Nice place to stay as I have stayed here before. Everyone is outstanding and the value is as well. However, this time I was somewhat surprised to notice a "smell" like sewer gas in the hotel lobby one day and in our bathroom throughout the five days I stayed there. I am only guessing it is a problem that they were working on since it was not present before. Other than that I am planning on being there again very soon.

I visited Monterrey for personal reasons. The location of this hotel was excellent. The staff most informative, especially since my Spanish is not all that good, yet. I enjoyed the quality of the room, the cleanliness, the friendly staff and perhaps even better, being located in a "mall".
Went to a good coffee shop, had a good selection of food operations to go to and a movie theater as well.
Parking is located directly below the hotel and is secure and cheap too.
I am staying here again next month and would recommend this hotel as a value in quality for price.

MY STAY HERE WAS EXCELLENT, THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY, THE ROOMS WERE GREAT. ALSO RESTAURANTS AND SHOPPING FACILITIES ARE VERY CLOSE TO THE HOTEL. WOULD RECOMMEND GREATLY.
