We just wanted a night away. This hotel is close to the Mall. If you get a room that faces the mountains it is beautiful to look at, especially at night.

I had several meetings and was happy to see that the hotel had areas and meeting rooms. Also, the hotel connects directly to a mall, and restaurants are at a walking distance, including starbucks. This is the safest sector in the whole city. I didn't have to rent a car or drive. The best location if you're traveling for business and security is a concern.

Great Location & Value Needs Improvement

This has become my second home in Monterrey, every time I have the opportunity to visit the city I stay here. I love the location and the staff is really friendly. However on my last visit I did encounter at least two major problems. The first room we were issued had a toilet that wouldn't flush and dripping water. We were moved to another room which at first seemed surprisingly clean and spacious. On the downside, after our third night stay, we began itching all over only to find some strange little creatures crawling all over us. We did report it to the hotel manager which she guaranteed to us she would check into it immediately but at that point we were ready to check out and return back home.

Friendly staff, good location, traveled as a couple received a double bed room because no single bed available. Worst of all, as previous visits, staff couldn't find my reservation since it was made thru [...] and I had to go to cyber cafe across the street to print my reservation from my email. Other than that.. it's a nice hotel and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Poor Choice for Foreign Travellers

The hotel is in a horrible area not meant for foreign travelers. The entire area is filthy and not safe to walk around in at night. The rooms have central air-conditioning that can only be controlled by the hotel staff and they frequently turn it off, especially at night. I had to call several times for them to turn it on. The beds have worn out mattresses that gave me terrible back and neck aches. Of the two computers available for complimentary internet, only one was working and 99% of the time it was occupied by someone who would use if for several hours. Overall I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. I have been in this industry for 25 years and must say that this was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had...Don't go, especially if you are a foreigner!!

There's no parking and no elevators, be sure first if the shower has hot water and get some extra bottled water, if you go for a walk or shopping check if your room hasn't been assigned to other guess, be prepare to ask for extra towels in the morning.

Next best thing to a honey moon

I visited Monterrey for personal reasons. The location of this hotel was excellent. The staff most informative, especially since my Spanish is not all that good, yet. I enjoyed the quality of the room, the cleanliness, the friendly staff and perhaps even better, being located in a "mall".
Went to a good coffee shop, had a good selection of food operations to go to and a movie theater as well.
Parking is located directly below the hotel and is secure and cheap too.
I am staying here again next month and would recommend this hotel as a value in quality for price.

The initail service was not good because I was assigned a single bed room without wi-fi as booked. Wne i alerted the front office I was sent a room without refrigerator so i opted to come back to the single bed room.
after that service was good with friendly personnel.
I really liked their complimentary breakfast. It's better than toher places i've been. A lot of food, drinks and fruits. hard to believe it was all free. Only if i had a big stomach!!!

We booked this hotel because it was close to the airport, not for its "tourist" location. We arrived at the hotel late. We were happy to find that their small Restaraunt was still serving dinner. Unfortunately we did not know upon arrival that they offered FREE shuttle service to/from the airport. The taxi from the airport was very expensive. Take advantage of the hotel shuttle! Our rooms were clean & nice & the staff was very helpful. We liked it so much we booked a return stay a week later.

Since you pull into the hotel's driveway you feel a very pleasant atmosphere. Employees at this fine hotel are not tip-chasers. they are true professionals. I'm a very picky traveler, and I can assure that the service here at the Sheraton Ambassador is second to none. Not exhuberant or fake, just perfect.

[...]Location is terrible and very difficult to find.Hotel needs major upgrade beginning with a much better access road. Hotel rater needs to be fired. This is NOT a 4 star.Hotel appearance from the road looked like a dilapidated structure from the 60's. Some renovation in the interior park area is under way.Room carpets needs cleaning, replacement.Night table lamps should have a light bulb, right?etc, etc.DECISION: I canceled the remaining two nights of my reservation and will submit pictures of my room.THANKSThe two rooms were
