After about a one hour drive we arrived at Punta Serena to be greeted with an ice cold cocktail. It tasted great after the hot cab ride from the airport. After registering at the air conditioned office our bags were transported to our villa suite while we were given a guided tour of the resort and facilities.The place was in amaizing condition considering they had had a hurricane the week before we arrived. It was hard to tell there had been a storm here. After our intoduction to the place we headed off to our room to get some things together to go for a swim in the gorgeous infinity pool. Water was warm I'm guessing 88 degrees. I think the ocean was around the same temperature. The food was very good I especially enjoyed the dorado. My wife says Jose the bar tender makes the very best martinis. Cindy the manager is very accommodating and takes care of any concerns you may have quickly. Our villa had a beautifil view of the ocean. We stayed here for two weeks and every day was wonderful. We will definately be back and hopefully with some of our naturist friends.

This hotel is very small and north of 3 tiny towns. We enjoyed the clothing optional beach and the ocean is swimmable. The hotel is similar to 3 stars, but if you go with these expectations, you will find it to be better. The all-inclusive food is not great, so we often ate dinner out in the neighboring towns. Renting a car is recommended to enjoy the real Mexico feel! The staff is amazing and will accommodate any wish you may have. The view and environment are all 5 stars.
The spa is massages only. You can also walk to the neighboring hotel for nightly entertainment and a disco. The neighbor hotel is a popular destination for Mexican families which makes it fun if you want to get away from it all!
We stayed in a villa suite. Be prepared for stairs! It is priced right.

the hotel is nice , the staff is friendly but when I got to my room there was no control and the mini bar had only 2 sodas and 1 water ( that's not a mini bar )so I called front desk to ask for the control for tv 1 time waited for an hr called again like 3 times giving like an hr each time until I got it , i guess the problem is that we went to cancun in march and everything was great , 1 restaurant and 1 bar were open 24 hr ,mini bar in the room had plenty of soda water and beer .the shows that they have at el tesoro are ok but the buffet is pretty boring

Hotel has no elevators, bad if you have two kids that require a stroller and they put you up on the 4th floor. Staff was a bit loud, vulgar and many times unhelpful. Rooms are old.
Family rooms are not bigger than regular rooms. Dont be fooled into paying more. All rooms have 2 beds and sofa they call a 3rd bed.
Great bars, nightly entertainment, pools, beach, and acitivities.

I've been to Manzanillo several times.
Glad I only stayed 1 night...
Arrived that afternoon to find out that my reservations had never been received. Waited 2 hours for room to be available.
Lots and lots of stairs. I think the hotel was built by a stairway architect. Lots of exercise!
Air conditioning did not work in the bedroom.
Bed was hard and extremely uncomfortable.
I would not stay at this hotel again.

A very Mexician family ambiance

The location of the Resort is very attractive due to the beach located next to the Resort. It is what made us return after our first visit in 2000. Staff is friendly, place is overall clean, but there is a lack of consistency in service particularly with towel accessories and general clean up of the room; a lack of detail to cleaning up of old bad paint on walls, ceramic tiles etc. in rooms and around the resort; an over anxious waiter staff to take plates away before finishing meal (particularly in reserved dinner resturants); [...] the Manager is an asset due to his command of the English language and his great personality. However, if the Resort attempts to attract English speaking customers, more fluent English staff around the resort would be recommended.

This was our second time there. We loved it so much the first time that went back this year again. As usual everything was great, the food, entertainment and the weather. The public relations Mgr. is the best person I've ever dealt with. He's there 24/7 and makes sure everything is to your liking and makes your stay a wonderful expierence. The drinks were great and plentiful. Everything is within walking distance,(Wal-mart,KFC, Burger King, curio shops etc.). A ride on the buses to the city of Manzanillo is 40 cents ( 1/2 hr ride). The beach is nice and clean and relaxing. The resort itself is kept very clean. The employees very friendly & courteous. If you're looking to get away for rest & relaxation this is THE Place to go to.

The hotel wants to be your best lodging option in your business or pleasure. For Club Fiesta Mexicana Beach Manzanillo, main goal is to satisfy your needs. A first class service from their meals, drinks and the warmth of its people, to make your stay unforgettable . The hotel has sal-water swimming pool, the only one in Manzanillo and it is split into four sections making it ideal for children. It also overlooks the beach form where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the wide sandy bay. Adjacent, is the snack bar Cocula, where you will be able to relax with refreshing tropical drinks.
The other amenity includes Ballroom, Children's facilities, Lobby, Reception and Table tennis.
Club Fiesta Mexicana is Smoke-free hotel.

Worst Vacation I ever had in manzanillo

The
Club Fiesta Mexicana hotel was a very bad experience I ahve travel with u guys several times and I have never had any inconvenience, bud this Hotel I have to say u shoudent even have it on u webpage, because any person who go there will be very disapopnted. bathroom's smeel very bad, the hotel is very old and detertiorated, the buffet was very small and it doesnt look nice, the room was small and very old I think all the hotel needs a complete refurnishment and manteinace.

When a hotel is three stars rated, some good quality is expected
The room was very small, looking to a "terrace" and public street not so pleasant and , the door to the terrace had an opening of about one inch opening and as safety a small latch that even a baby could open
I was unable to sleep all night , due to an anguishing feeling of risk and also because across the street There is a bar that plays loud, laud music all night and with high police activity
The room did not have cable and the TV did not have a decently image
The room even did not have phone.
It was a nightmare!!!!

Great cozy Inn!

The Dolphin Cove is a great place to stay! The views from the rooms were very nice and the staff was very friendly! The place has quite a bit of stairs and ramps, so be prepared to exercise a bit getting down to the pool or the beach. Although it's a walk, it makes for a very unique hotel. The rooms were clean and and having a kitchen with a stove, microwave, mini-fridge and even dishes and cookware made it very affordable to eat in our room. There is even an on-site little store to buy groceries. The location of the Inn is a little far from the main road in Manzanillo, but other than that and a bed that was a bit stiff, the Dolphin Cove was a great choice!

We snorkeled and swam - spent lazy days playing on the beach and swimming in the pool. The restaurant at the hotel is cheap and clean and offers great food. We also cooked a few meals in our unit/apartment. A very relaxing family vacation!
