For the price, it is great, and a comfortable place!

I like the hotel is in the center of Huatulco everything is close by the personal needs more training they did not know how to close my account with my American Express card, also the building needs a lot of maintenance. The beach club needs that special something .Breakfast was good.No hair dryer.

Hotel is very clean ,staff is friendly ,breakfast buffet is staffing with a great mexican food.

A little shoddy, but clean and friendly. Complimentary breakfast was better than other complimentaries we have encountered.

quand on dépense ce prix là, mieux vaut mettre 50% de + et aller au [other hotel] juste à côte ! Là c'est le vrai luxe !! Las Brisas est beaucoup trop cher pour ce niveau de prestations. C'est un all inclusive. Pas utile d'aller au Mexique pour trouver ce type d'hotel (avec rien à voir autour dans ce coin !). Attention , en ne réservant qu'une nuit, nous n'avons pas eu le bracelet, donc pas de all inclusive pour nous. Le cocktail à 80 pesos pièce, très cher et qui plus est très mauvais (type all inclusive style 3* en tunisie !)

excellent attention to details. staff is incredible. service is outstanding. beach is beautiful, all rooms face the beach, and have been nicely renovated recently. food is very good. i loved every second of my stay here!

We visited in first days of September for 5 days- resort was very quiet since, apparently, it was a low tourism time. So our time spent was very relaxing - which is what we were looking forward to. There are three restaraunts at hotel- however, there was only one avaialble at any given time - so choices on where to eat at hotel were limited. There are places close by (town of Crucecita, 10 minutes by taxi at 30 pesos) with markets, shops, and restaraunts. Due to storms and high danger surf conditions, we were not able to tour the bays of Huatulco. Location right on the beach is why we chose it - nice! Sea turtles hatched during our stay! Would stay here again if back in Huatulco!

couldnt have chosen a better location in Huatulco if you love to walk as this hotel is central to all areas for exploring on foot. A walk into La Crucecita is only 15 min. And is very safe and well lit at night. Also, the beach club is across the street. The food is good in the dining room and one can order anything not on the buffet for no extra cost. Rooms are very clean. Try not to stay in a room that has a door adjoining the room beside it as you can hear EVERYTHING!! Overall, we would definitely stay there again when we return

it was perfect for our boys -this was there break from school and i wanted them to have a safe place to stay. They loved the pool and hopefully didn't play too much to annoy the other guests. I have stayed at the Villablanca several times and have always found it perfect for me.

We have stayed at the Crown three times. The staff are always wonderful. The food has gotten alot better, but has a long way still to go. The price of the Crown affords you to be able to take a cab into Santa Cruise or La Cretictia at night for dinner. We have still not tried all the resturants offered. The Las Brisas is alot of walking and stairs.Camino Real is a wonderful hotel food is fantastic. We stayed 4 days. We love Haultulco and will be returning again and again.

This was our fourth trip to a Dreams Resort. We have stayed at Dreams Cancun, Puerta Vallerta, Cabo and now Hatulco. Of the four we've seen so far, we put Hatulco fourth on our list. The facility really is pretty and the rooms are very nice, the staff is friendly. We liked the others a little better for several things, food, outside activities, in house entertainment. In addition, and ths is VERY important to us, this Hatulco Dreams had some aggressive anti smoking rules, which we hated. Outside and open air locations, which is most of the facility, should not be restrictive. Not on my vacation. Also found that we actually had to request alcohol in our drinks, really? I thought that was implied when you order a drink.

The overall resort is beautiful, from the landscape design to the layout of the pools and the gorgeous long stretch of amber beach. The staff here is extremely friendly and accommodating to your needs. The overall resort is spotless including your room. Our room is more or less standard resort room with an exception of a Jacuzzi on you balcony. I thought that was pretty cool. The all inclusive food was fair/ good, and the best is the world cafe for breakfast. We found the food to be a bit monotonous and is not as good as the Dreams in Cancun although they have similar restaurants. There are some issues that give me pause to return to this hotel, for two and half days there was a incessant noise of power sanders and scrapers near the adult pool from morning thru the afternoon. We've come to a resort to enjoy the pool and relax not to hear construction noise. We complained to the front desk and all we got is a lot of lip service "we'll check on it and get back to you tomorrow" so it goes for couple of days. The other problem is that you must be up early to get the few chairs that are available near the pool. The pools however are wonderful and are on the edge of the beach and provides a fantastic view of the bay. All in all not a bad all inclusive hotel except for a couple of issues which I described.

Check-in was a breeze; requested a non-smoking room but they were on the first floor with no windows. So we moved to a smoking room with a very nice balcony. Rooms were spotlessly clean, beds a little firm but not too bad, sink is outside the bathroom. Shower always had good water pressure and hot water. It looked like it was brand new tile. It was very hot while we were there but the air conditioner kept the room cool. There is also a screen on the patio door if you want to keep the door open. Rooms come with 2 bottles of water every day; iron and ironing board and coffee maker. The pool is very small (perfect for children) with only several lounge chairs. There is a computer in the lobby you can use for a very small fee. Two restaurants are on the property, one of them is the only vegetarian restaurant in Huatulco. La Crucecita and Santa Cruz are a short cab ride away (20 pesos) but we walked to them every day (15 minutes). We like to eat at different places so we enjoyed being able to walk into town for breakfast and dinner every day. Food is very reasonable in town. Although this hotel is not on the beach, you can walk to Playa Chahue (10-15 minutes) and there are 2 beach clubs with restaurants, pools, and lounge chairs. The one on the right as you are looking at the ocean is free. You can also take a cab to any of the other beaches for a very reasonable price.

Very nice hotel, small, clean and close to downtown and beaches. The food could be better, more options for breakfast would be nice. The staff was great, nice but not overwhelming. The only bad thing is that the hotel does not have elevator, so if you need it is not a good option. A jacuzzi would be a good idea after those long walks...

L'hôtel est très bien (accueil, propreté, équipements...), mais son emplacement n'est pas idéal... Obligés de prendre un taxi pour aller dans le centre...

It was a good hotel for the budget minded. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was small. The TV although it lists at least 10 chanels you could only see 3. The people were nice. Overall the accomadations were great.

The hotel in general is fine. Great location, good food and nice staff. The hotel is not perfect cause ther are some details, but it is not a big thing.

Had 16 days of perfect weather. Decent golf course 5 minutes away. Staff very attentive to your needs. Food is excellent and lots of variety at each meal. Restaurants à la carte are ok but not great. Rooms are very clean but quite a bit outdated. Refreshing time has arrived. The TV in the room was replaced by one just as bad. They are due for the recycling bin.

THis was our second trip to Quinta Real. The resort is near perfection with great service. There is only one problem;the food. The overall quality of the food is at best average, but the cost is unreal. $25 for a hamburger? Yes, thats American dollars. Tocaos; $22.00 for 3. Eggs with bacon and OJ; $22.00. Remeber, this is American dollars. We paid less in town for great steak and shrimp than for egss at the resort!

It was our first time staying at the Quinta Real. We were extremely impressed by the gorgeous view, unique architecture and pool/beach amenities. Of all hotels in Tangolunda Bay, we were happy we chose Quinta Real. It is a lot more private and low-key than the other hotels. The hotel is ideal for couples looking for a romantic getaway. We could have easily stayed in our spacious grand suite and looked out over the bay from our jacuzzi the whole time. However, the hammocks and shaded palapas on the beach brought us out of seclusion. (If you swim in the bay, watch out for the manta rays and jelly fish!) The pool area had great lounge chairs and umbrellas. The pool itself is on a steep hillside so you can gaze out at the bay. A couple things to be aware of: (1) the food served at the restaurant is extremely poor quality and way overpriced and (2) don't use the minibar in the room. (1) Poor dining options Our meals at the restaurant were absolutely horrible. For example, the Pescado Veracruzana was supposed to be a fresh piece of snapper with tomatoes, olives and capers. However, we were served an overcooked piece of flavorless fish with ragu-like sauce served luke-warm. There was one olive cut in half. Ugh. It is sad because while there, you don't want to leave the hotel. However, we could not bear to eat there again. To eat elsewhere, you have to go in a cab to either Santa Cruz or La Crucecita. We treated ourselves to another nice restaurant that turned out to be awful as well. A French/Laotian couple opened a place called L'Echalote. The fish was fresh; however, it was drenched in butter and dried herbs. It was not worth it and we left there extremely frustrated with the poor service and underwhelming food. We ended up eating tacos at small places in La Crucecita. There are simply no options for dining that are satisfactory. 2) Don't touch the minibar! Over our 5 day stay, we took a couple bottles of purified water and a couple soft drinks from the minibar. When we were checking out, we found that we had been charged for various items each day that we had not taken out of the minibar. For each item, we had to sign a separate sheet of paper confirming that we, in fact, did not take the item. It was such an ordeal to take off the charges, that we had to leave a couple on just to avoid missing our flight. Conclusion: We recommend the place. Most of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a beautiful hotel with a luxurious feel. We definitely felt relaxed up until our miserable experience with the process of checking-out.

Secrets Huatulco was awesome! The room, staff, and food were excellent. Even though its a bit far to travel, it was worth every bit of it. A beautiful place to relax, rest, and heal. My favorite thing was the hanging futon on the beach...swinging and watching the waves crash upon the beach. It was my very best vacation ever!!!
