Very nice, clean, friendly staff. Nice restuarant but noone seemed to eat there. Usually I was alone if eating there, even in the morning. No receipt upon departure was a negative, as I have to turn in receipts.

Hotel & Spa Quinta Las Alondras is a beautiful hotel. Starting with check-in the reception is more than efficient and you immediately feel that they want to please you. The rooms are very large and well appointed. The restaurant was good. Didn't try the spa but will on my return. Would definitely recommend this hotel for business travlers, family's and weekend retreats.

a little bit far from centro but taxi and bus are available. very quiet, and very confortable hotel. we stayed 2 night without any uncomfortable. The hotel is very pretty and the garden is also very buetiful.

I cannot say enough about the staff at QLA. They were all unbelievably welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. We could not have picked a better hotel for our stay in GTO.

We chose this hotel because it was one of the only hotels in Guanajuato that had a gym. Although check in time was at 3pm, we arrived early thinking they could store our luggage while we went out exploring. We were surprised to find out that they had upgraded our room because our original room was not ready. The room was of high end quality furniture and the hot tub was very relaxing! The hotel only has 13 rooms which makes it very quiet. The pool and gym were open 24hrs a day which made it very convenient for us. The pool is made out of small tiles which gives it a Romanesque look. The gym had a few cardio machines but also had pilates mats available. The restaurant had a large selection of foods and wines available. It was completely empty the entire time which made it seem like the staff were personally serving us. We truly felt like we were spoiled the entire time!
The hotel towels were soft, had a nice smell to them (compared to normal hotel towels), and were available in the gym and pool. Complementary water bottles were also made available in the rooms, pool, and gym. Umbrellas are also made available throughout the hotel in case an occasional rain shower slips in. The wireless internet was complimentary and fast!
This was what I consider luxury for a great rate. We found all the other reviews helpful but fortunately, did not experience any of the negatives. We are recommending this hotel to all our friends and we hope to return in the near future!

The hotel is beautifully designed and comfortable, with an attentive staff. In what was labelled a junior suite, the bed was small for two people. But otherwise the room and bathroom facilities were excellent.

Located in one of the most beautiful Haciendas in Guanajuato, declared as "World Heritage Site" by the UNESCO.
5 minutes away from Historical Center where you can find the most important touristic sites such as The Alhondiga de Granaditas, the Juarez Theater, the famous "Callejon del Beso" and the well known University of Guanajuato. 20 minutes away from el Bajio Airport, and very close to the Convention Center this beautiful hotel features a mis of the modern technology in and Hacienda building which was built during the XVII Century.

Good but bedroom could be bigger but the staff is really nice and helpful and the hotel is beautiful. Its not walking distance to the historic places but it is still good.

It was a nice hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Location, however, is quite far away from the city center, although a $30 peso taxi ride will get you there quick. They also have a nice tour arranged from the hotel to the city, which takes around 3-4 hours and takes you to all the important places.
My only negative comment would be the lack of soundproofing of the walls/doors. We could hear straight to the hall and next door room, which was quite annoying with kids running around.

There is also a pool, a tennis court, safe deposit boxes, medical Services, parking, laundry and drycleaning service, child care, free transportation to the historic downtown, and more.
And for social or work-related events, Hotel Mision Guanajuato has rooms and event halls with all the associated Services, for groups of 70 to 350 people. Its hacienda style rooms are equipped with cable TV, in room safe and private balcony. The hotel is a very good choice when you're visiting Guanajuato. Not a walking distance to town center, but it offers free and reliable shuttle bus service to town. You have to take a taxi back, but taxis are abundant and very inexpensive (about $2.5). The hotel is beautifully situated, with great views, and old hacienda gardens around to enjoy. The rooms are large, with views, half of them with balconies. Very good quality. There is a nice pool area, but I didn't use it. The restaurant on-site is OK and convenient. Staff is very helpful, some speak good English.
One of the reasons I chose the hotel was the wireless access. It was great the first night, and then it went down. I inquired at the desk and was told that it was up to the telephone company to fix the problem and they would be working on it the following day. In the meantime, there was no internet access available, and the hotel didn't seem to own up to the problem. I do need to mention that there are lots of Internet cafes in Guanajuato center.
I would strongly recommend the hotel for your stay in Guanajuato.

The hotel is beautiful. The hours of operation for the pool are perfect! I also enjoyed the service at the restaurant over breakfast time. Prices were very reasonable.
While the site is beautiful, with a relaxing atmosphere, the staff needs to be more engaged with the guests. The reception desk needs to be more friendly and welcoming. The SPA service needs to have more attention to their customers. I tried to book a massage twice with no results. I was told that I would receive a confirmation call, one that I never received.
