Food pretty good. My room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing that needs to be updated is the television.
Staff very helpful.

Peaceful getaway

This hotel is a great little getaway that is only a little over a hour from Mexico City by bus. The grounds are very well kept and contain several labeled exotic plants. While it is located close enough to the city center for a quick taxi ride, you wouldn´t know it once you are inside the tranquill courtyard. You can lounge around one of the three pools and enjoy the sounds of the singing birds.
My only recommendation would be sure that you don´t get a room located by the outdoor restaurant in the courtyard. My room was just above the dining area, and it was noisy until midnight. The sounds of music from the restaraunt could then be heard promptly the next morning as it prepared to open for breakfast. I don´t think this would be a problem anywhere else in the hotel, as the pools close early (with the exception of the hot tub). I´m sure I ended up in this room because I chose the cheapest one (still a lovely room with great courtyard patio).
An overall great hotel, I wish I could have stayed longer.

The hotel was very clean, but with some details: spyholes on doors missing in both rooms, door handle in one bathroom not working properly). Two very small, but nice, pools. Restaurant looked expensive, but there are many options nearby.

Great location for business with a Sanborn's restaurant /emporium type of store across the street.
Never enough bath towels. Very good service attitude and very friendly people. Great rates. Would stay here again, but bring my own extra towel.

Beautiful hacienda hotel. if you are looking for a weekend with your couple, this will work, if you stay for more days I think you might get bored.Has a beautiful restaurant, very clean rooms, but it was a little bit noisy in the nights(cars)and the pool is not so great

This hotel is on a beautiful piece of land in a quiet Cuernavaca location. The grounds and restaurant are romantic and beautiful. Food was good. However, maintenance of the rooms is poor and we changed rooms 3 times in one night due to malfunctioning air conditioning, ceiling fans not working and windows bolted shut. The rooms were like ovens with no way to create a breeze. If the ceiling fans had been working and windows able to open we would have been very happy. Room are enormous and have separate sitting rooms. Could be 5 star with maintenance.

Beds were extremely hard so we woke up with the worst back pain. Telephone in the room was not working so if we needed something we had to walk to the front desk. When we asked at the front desk for mosquito repellent the answer was "we don´t have but you can get some at a store 4 blocks away" that is not the answer for a Luxury Hotel

Old World Charm in the Heart of the City

Great location: in the heart of the City, very near the Zocalo; walking distance to many restaurants, museums, tour buses, waterfalls, etc. ( However, you must not mind some of the city dirt outside the hotel walls). We were so busy sight-seeing that we hardly had time to sit and relax at the hotel poolside (although it was very inviting.)
The hotel is a 300 yr. old former monastery which has been partially updated while preserving its charm.
My 20 yr. old daughter was completely enthralled with the trip, the hotel, and the City. She wants to come back to study Spanish here. This trip was as or more interesting than many we have taken before.
Nearby sights that should not be missed are the Xochicalco ruins, the caves at Cacahuamilpo, Taxco, and the ruins at Tepotzlan. And, of course, the Cuahnahuac museum in the center of the City which bears the original name of Cuernavaca.
