The hotel is walking distance from the US consulate and the hospitals that work with the consulate, but the courtesy shuttle runs back and forth whenever needed. They make things easy.

My experience at this hotel was better than expected. Staff were friendly, and the shuttle to and from the US Consulate, Medical Clinics and nearby restaurants saved us a lot of money versus taking a taxi. Complimentary breakfast was nice. I was honestly expecting something more along the lines of stale doughnuts, so it was a pleasant surprise when there was a hot buffet daily. They have computers available for guests to use, as well as a gym facility. Safer there than we expected. Overall, a good experience.

Things were fine overall. The A/C couldn't seem to keep up with the temperature outside. It was too hot in the room. Breakfast and happy hour were a nice plus. It was a great location for getting to the medical offices and consulate. Shuttle to the airport was nice as well.

My experience at this hotel was wonderful, just some minor important details. The rates are a little high but the services and anemites are worth it. The front desk staff in the evening is overwhelmed because there is only one person to do it all so they end up being rude. The telephones in the rooms lead you to believe that you can direct dial your calls but all calls go thru the front desk person, so they get tired and become rude. Arturo the van driver was exceptionally helpful. The buffet person was always ready to help you no matter.

Me and my wife stayed at the Ramada for almost 3 weeks while there fixing papers at the consulate.
Pros -
*Nice hotel, great landscaping
*Clean and comfortable rooms
*Good WIFI speeds but it depends on the room
*Nice gym
*Friendly staff
*Nothing ever stolen/missing from our room when it was cleaned or from our car
*Free shuttle to and from the consulate/clinic
*Free refrigerator and microwave delivered upon request within an hour
*Free breakfast
*Nice HD TV (32" LG LCD Flatscreen) with good amount of channels but a lot of the channels there are snowy or have static

*Swimming pool has a dirty surface with bugs and dust and they have underwater bugs that swim which was kind of odd. We went in October though so maybe its maintained better in the summer months.
*The cleaning crew is too eager to clean your room. Even with a "do not disturb" sign on your door, they will still knock on your door, ask you when you walk by, and even one time resorted to calling our room. We had only been there for 3-4 days and didn't need supplies or cleaning at the time. One day we left for a few hours with the do not disturb sign on the door, when we came back, our room had been cleaned and the do not disturb sign was taken off the door and left inside the room.
*They had a washer/drier but it was broken for our entire stay, on the flip side the cleaning ladies washed our clothes using the commercial washer/driers of their own so we wouldn't have to find a laundromat.
*No safe in the rooms unless its the executive suite although its advertised for all rooms. Instead they have a small lock box at the front desk.

Perfect for any buisness trip

I was a little worried about staying at this location for my wifes appointment at the consulates office because we weren't sure how far the Consulate was to the Hotel, but the Hotel has an excellent staff who takes you anywhere on their shuttle; they'll even pick you up if you let them know ahead of time.
They also offer breakfast and dinner...with free beer...yes, free Coronas, Modelos, Tecates, Cokes, and snacks.
I can't give the friendly staff their enough credit for make our 8 day stay there very pleasant. I rate their staff at that location an A++++++ Great people!!
All in all, if I ever have to go to CD Juarez again, this is the Hotel I'll be staying at. I highly recommened this Hotel for anyone, and for any type of buisness that would bring you to CD Juarez.

They provided transportation to church,downtown,all the malls this made it relaxing and took my mind of the buisness i was there for.And i saved money on transportation and breakfast and dinner, it might be cheaper somewhere else though at the end when you add it all up you will be happy you stayed at The Hampton take my word for it i shoped arouned.

I was at the hotel for three days, while taking care of some paper work at the US Consulate. It was a very pleasent stay. The stuff members at the hotel were very nice and polite especially at the front desk a lady named [...] was very helpful. The rooms were clean, the place was quiet. Overall it is a very nice hotel to stay in Cidad Juares.

Great location. Close to cosulate. Also the hotel has a shuttle that will take you to the medical exam and consulate and the will pick you up as well. The food was good, but most of all I was impressed with the customer service from the employees. They were great.

The hotel is really nice. The service was really good. Clean and quiet atmosphere. Also, the swimming pool was clean. Every thing you expect from a hotel.

Great for Consulado Needs

My overall experience was great!! Small room but you really don't need any bigger...Love the shower and the modernness of the hotel!! The only bad things is that sometimes you have trouble using your card to go up on the elevator to you're room!!! The only recommendation is don't use the phone to do calls to the US very expensive!!! :)

A Total Disaster

The Hotel Maria Bonita Staff was not very friendly or helpful. I went to the front desk the next morning and asked about my room and the full kitchen and the man at the desk pretended not to understand English. I explained that we need some glasses in our bathroom to drink out of, etc. So we were there and paid for a full kitchen for nothing. We were forced to eat out or in their restaurant. They didn't even offer us a key to our safe deposit box. Each time our room was cleaned, it would be missing wash cloths, coffee, bottled water, things that are part of room service and necessities. We were told they did not offer courtesy transportion. We asked if the courtesy van could take us and drop us off to shop. We had the courtesy van drop us off at a shopping market and asked that they pick us up at 1pm...After 3 calls and 2 hours later were we finally picked up and got back to the hotel at 3:30.

I really enjoyed this hotel, as soon as you come into mexico theres no way of getting lost. I loved that the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The chauffer was beyond great.. my husband and I stayed there for our interview at the Consulate. Though it is not too close like the hotel states, but they do take you there as a gratuity. We also took our baby and they were very cautious of our safety. Were having to go in another month, I will definetely be staying there again.

Overall the hotel experiance was AWESOME! The location was excellent. Everthing was a short safe walking distance away including restaurants,mall,supermarket,bank,currency change, taxi company. Great price!
