It is a very nice to have your vacation at Beloved hotel (known as La Amada before), enjoyable and restful. The hotel is very new (two years old) and designed in modern fashion, has versatile facilities, beautiful and quiet beach. Food is not bad but a little expensive. Staffs are very kind and eager to help you. The best vacation experience so far.

HOTEL WAS AMAZING. STILL GETTING THROUGH SOME LITTLE KINKS BEING SO NEW. ROOMS WERE NICE. HOTEL WAS GORGEOUS. FOOD WAS AMAZING AND PLENTIFUL. WE WENT DEEP SEA FISHING AND THE CHEF ALLOWED MY SON TO COOK OUR FISH WITH HIM AND THEN SHARED IN THE MEAL. I HAD A SMALL POOL ACCIDENT WHICH WAS RESPONDED TO QUICKLY AND COURTEOUSLY BY HOTEL STAFF AND A LOCAL DOCTOR WHICH THE RESORT BROUGHT RIGHT TO MY ROOM. GENERAL MANAGER WAS AWESOME AND MADE SURE I WAS TAKEN CARE OF. DO NOT DIVE INTO THE POOLS IS ALL I WILL SAY.
THIS PLACE ONE DAY WILL BE A MASSIVE RESORT SO GO AND ENJOY IT NOW.
ONLY PROBLEMS DURING OUR VISIT.
FIRST: CHRISTMAS DAY ALL BARS RAN OUT OF WATER AND BEER. LUNCH BAR RAN OUT OF HAMBURGERS AND FRIES. THIS WAS QUICKLY REMEDIED WITHIN THE HOUR.
SECOND: THE Chichen Itza TOUR WAS LONG AND POORLY DONE. NOT THE TOUR COMPANY'S FAULT ALTHOUGH I DID FIND OUR GUIDE (IF YOU CAN CALL HIM THAT) A BORE. THEY HAVE COMPLETELY TURNED THIS INTO A TOURIST TRAP. THOUSANDS OF VENDERS SELLING THE SAME STUFF AND SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED. BETTER TO DRIVE YOURSELF AND ENJOY AT YOUR OWN PACE.

New resort still under construction. Skip the timeshare presentation...a lot of bad information on timeshare company upon internet search. Resort was beautiful, 4 star service, nice pool, good food. Location and beach quality are the only problems. If you like to be in the center of the action, not resort for you. If you like crystal blue water, not the resort for you.

the hotel overall was what we paid for. one thing i did like was that it was clean. the furniturewas cleaned with furniture oil that it stained our clothes. i was very upset because at one point my husband left the key in the room and the hotel didnt have an extra key to let us in .they had to call a locksmith to come open the room, so after an hour we were able to make use of our room. the nxt morning the personel asked for my key so they coyld make a copy. when we got back late that evening no one knew the where abouts of my key neither had they made copies. i was very upset and tired from our long day. the continental breakfast was nothing but plain cereal, coffee, juice, toast. there was no fruit or muffins or any viriety.

Although the Hotel Del Sol has a lovely modern atmosphere, I would not suggest it to anyone needing to stay more than a night. The hotel its self is actually located north of Cancun in a suburb called Puerto Juarez with no entertainment at all within walking distance. There were mainly residential homes surrounding the hotel and their residents were extremely loud during the night. Our view also consisted of a heavily armed guard looking over a boat storage area. The beds were horribly uncomfortable and the showers either didn't have enough water pressure or wouldn't drain. There "breakfast" consisted of frosted flakes and bread with jelly.
