This hotel was completely remodeled several years ago. I stayed here before it was remodeled. If you prefer staying downtown as I do and not in the Hotel Zone than this is the place because I have now stayed in three other hotels within this triangle and this is by far the best of the three. The price for me was a bargain. The maid service outstanding. The pool was large, clean. The room furniture is modest, comfortable large bed, an extended table and chair, flat screen t.v. The bathroom and shower and towels etc were wonderful. Needless to say I was pleased to be back in this location and in this hotel.

We were looking for a value hotel in this Cancun trip without compromising on cleanliness of the hotel. We also wanted to experience the Mexican culture by staying downtown. Hence, we chose this hotel.
Going in, we had expected a 'basic' hotel similar to some Super 8s or Comfort Inns in the US that are basic but very clean. This hotel actually exceeded our expectations in that it is new and was very clean with a fairly modern look in the rooms. They cleaned the rooms and swimming pool everyday with soap water and scrub until the last stain comes off! We personally witnessed it.
The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. For example, we asked for some rice for our three year old as she wouldn't eat anything else and they gave it to us for free. Actually, we found this to be true for every single local we came across at Cancun; the people are very nice and friendly. We traveled by bus extensively and every time my daughter/wife did not find a seat, somebody offered one to her just as soon as we boarded the bus.
As for traveling to the hotel zone, we took the bus every single day of the six days we were there and not once did we have to wait longer than five minutes to get on a bus. It costs 8.5 pesos/person.
We also wanted to experience the beach, the lounge chairs, etc. We contacted the Front desk and they gave us the coupons for 'Cabana' beach in the hotel zone that let us use their facilities, towels, lounge chairs, etc. for a very reasonable price. We paid USD 10 for two people and spent 5 hours on the beach enjoying the fabulous Caribbean.
This hotel is also at a walking distance from many good restaurants, Market 28, and bus station. There is a 24-hour pharmacy right next to the hotel where you can buy water, candies, snack bars, juices, etc. We had read some comments about the loud music in this area and hence, chose a room away from the street (overlooking the pool). Once the patio door was shut and the A/C was on, we couldn't hear a thing but if we left it open, we could hear some music. Originally, we also had some concerns about safety around this area that were ruled out on day one. The area is mostly residential and very safe at any time of the day.
Finally, as far as the facilities go, this hotel does not even come close to the all-inclusive five-star hotels in the hotel zone. However, if you are looking for value and a comfortable, clean place to stay at 20% price of the hotels in hotel zone and wish to experience local Mexican culture, this is the hotel for you! We definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice little hotel at great price.Room is modern clean with great location down the street from Mercado 28 and across the street from Oxxa convenience open 24 hours.Bus station is less then 10 minute walk and 30 minute walk to the Bullring.
Staff is friendly and cleaning staff was excellent.

Situation parfaite si on n'a pas de voiture.
L'hotel se trouve à 100m de la gare routiere mais aussi sur un grand carrefour très bruyant.
Chambre propre mais douche sans pression donc difficile de se laver correctement
Petit déjeuner correct
Réception moyenne, bien que prépayée il a fallu batailler pour le prouver et ne pas payer 2 fois.

安いので、宿泊するだけなら内装が綺麗で問題無いです。

Excellent hôtel à tous points de vue.
Cependant il a fallu beaucoup de patience au conducteur de taxi ainsi qu'à nous même car cet hôtel n'est pas connu sous le nom de MARGARITAS mais sous le nom d'hôtel RADISSON.
Après avoir tenté plusieurs appels infructueux auprès de ses collegues taxis, nous avons fini par appeler l'hôtel qui nous a donné la réponse: Hôtel RADISSON....

Wir sind seit Jahren Stammkunden dieses Hotels. Es ist ein einfaches, theoretisch mexikanisches Hotel, das sich dem europäischen Standart mehr oder weniger erfolgreich nähert. Z.B. Minibar gibt es nicht, man bekommt aber eine Kühlbox mit Eis bei Bedarf. Die Poolbar ist nicht in Betrieb, da die Mexikaner eh nie da was kaufen, die kaufen im Supermarkt ein und schleppen alles ins Hotel. Man kann aber beim Kellner bestellen und bekommt wirklich super Menus aus der Küche. Sonst hat es alles, was man braucht.
Mit der Sauberkeit waren wir immer zufrieden, das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn es mal etwas zu bemängeln oder reparieren gab, wurde das sofort erledigt.

Wasnt what we were expecting

The hotel was not the same as we see in the internet, i believe they took the picture of only one room, and no other room is like that, some things of other guests were lost and the hotel doesnt invite you to stay the hole day in there. We had to report 4 problem, our room key did not work, we had to go to the reception desk like 4 times to program it again and again, the balconys door didnt open, the bathroom ran out of water twice, our tv remote control did not work, we had to change it. I do not recommend it. The only person nice in the hotel was VICKY from the main restaurant.

It was just awful. Honestly. I'm a backpacker and I've slept in some dirty places. I've compromised on a lot of stuff and I read the negative reviews about this place before I went.. All I could think was, "these people are exaggerating. You can't spend $30/night and expect a place worth even 3 stars" but I would NEVER stay here again. The sheets and towels were filthy and the staff acted as though we were an invonvenience when we asked for clean ones that we would change OURSELVES. They charged us an extra $25/night for the 2nd person (even though we booked together) and the staff was completely unhelpful in all other aspects. Also, there is no complimentary breakfast. They advertise that they do, this is false. I can deal with bugs and dirt and a lot of stuff most people cannot. Nasty sheets is not one. This hotel is another. Gross.
