For those who wish to combine the pleasures of sunbathing with the joys of shopping in the heart of the bustling town of Grand Baie, Veranda Grand Baie Hotel & Spa is the perfect choice. Five minutes walk from the shopping centre, the hotel offers a comforting haven to holiday makers. Its giant palm trees and flourishing exotic plants provide shade for afternoon walks. The authentic Creole architecture of the hotel and the harmony of the environment welcome the visitor into the heart of a relaxed and serene holiday. After being closed for renovations for four months, Veranda Grand Baie Hotel & Spa, 3 stars, reopened its doors on 1st October 2010. The 94 rooms have been completely renovated and redecorated in a Creole style with contemporary accents. They have better natural light, plush new furniture, a flat screen TV and a beautiful bathroom, all creating a more comfortable space. General Information 3 stars (locally and internationally). The hotel has direct access to the beach. The hotel is situated in the heart of the village of Grand Bay surrounded by restaurants, bars, nightclubs and shops.

Accueil et personnel aux petits soins. Chambres superbes ! Hotel très très bien situé pour accès ville Grand Baie à 5mn à Pied !! Les animations du soir sympas si on a des ados et enfants et se finissent pas trop tard pour ceux qui partent en excursions le lendemain. Franchement.... ne pas hésiter !!!!

A lovely, intimate property in a great location for those wishing to venture out into the lively village of Grand Bay. The recently added spa offers a relaxation area, massage rooms, hamam and vichy shower. A low-rise property designed in a French colonial style situated on a small beach, with a larger public beach a short walk away. Overlooking Grand Bay, with direct access to the beach, this hotel is in an ideal location close to the shops, restaurants and nightlife of the village of Grand Bay. As well, the capital city of Port Louis is approximately 30 minutes south.

The hotel is situated in the north of the island near the seaside village of Grand Baie / Formerly a fishermen village this place has since turned into one of the trendiest places in Mauritius and is often referred to as the local Riviera / Spreading along a beautiful beach lined with filao trees Grand Baie rapidly became a popular tourist resort with its trendy restaurants and fashion shops / The Merville cove may be as popular a mooring site as Grand Baie but the hotel enjoys the advantage of being located in the outlying area of the village while still being at walking distance from its centre / Merville Beach is a 3star Superior Category hotel located right in front of a marvellous stretch of pristine sandy beach and also possesses a charming tropical garden promise of a complete change of scene / Merville Beach guests are regulars many of them have been returning for numerous years it is no secret for them that the region is one the sunniest parts of the island enjoying an all year round nice climate
