There are lots of choices of restaurants around the train station. The hotel was previously known as "Hotel Rich Yokohama" until 2003. This is a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers because of the convenient location.(11/08HT) It is a modern, 14-storey white building. The hotel is near to Yokohama station. It is only 5 minutes walk from West Exit of Yokohama station through underground shopping mall and Exit South No.12 is just next to the hotel. Otherwise it is a few hundreds meters away from Sheraton Tower in front of Yokohama station. Airport shuttle buses from both Narita and Haneda Airport stop at opposite side of the station. From Yokohama station, it takes 15 minutes by subway to Shin-Yokohama station for Bullet Train (Tokaido Shinkansen). To access to Tokyo, it is 20 minutes to Shinagawa and 30 minutes to Shinjuku both by JR line or 30 minutes to Shibuya by Tokyu Toyoko Line. In addition, a famous old town, Kamakura is 25 minutes train ride on JR Line.

요코하마역과 매우 가깝습니다. Diamond 쇼핑몰과 연결되어 있어, 간단한 식사를 하러 나갈 때에도 편리하며, 바로 옆에 편의점이 있어서 편리합니다. 한국어가능 직원도 있으시며, 영어로 의사소통하는 데에 문제가 없었습니다.
요코하마에서 신주쿠까지 지하철 갈아탈 필요 없이 40분 정도 걸립니다. 요코하마역에 백화점이 4개나 밀집되어 있고, 항구 바로 앞에 닛산 Global Headquarter가 위치하고 있습니다. 1층의 Car Gallery를 보는 것도 큰 재미입니다.
방의 크기는 작지만 일본인 점을 감안하면, 가격과 서비스 모두 만족스럽습니다.

It was shocking for me to be asked to pay 2000 Yen/hour for three hours if I wanted to check-in at 11 am (I had reached Yokohama after a 12 hour journey from India!). I had never expected this sort of behvior from an Intercontinental Hotel! I will never choose an I/C Hotel again!

The Rose Hotel is very well located to walk to Chinatown, the Motomachi, the Bund and other parts of Yokohama. I stayed at the New Grand 2 years ago and the rooms were about the same as The Rose Hotel and far more money. I think the Rose Hotel is a good value for the location and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was nice, but as Americans, we liked the nearby Starbucks instead!

Located directly next to the west exit of Isesakicho station, this hotel offers the convenience that every business or pleasure traveler could want. Business travelers will be very pleased at the hotel. Proximity to a vast majority of locations necessary for business traveler, including the Yokohama Convention Center. 399 relatively spacious and comfortable rooms, and the extremely friendly and helpful staff will ensure that any duration stay is comfortable and effortless.

Even though the room was a little small, I paid 1000 yen which is about $12.00 American for unlimited movies and laundry was free and that was a plus, also a convienent store was on the first floor and the food was good, aloe of choices. I would definitely recommend this place.

Good, quiet, and inexpensive hotel situated with immediate access to buses and the subway. Five minutes from the train station. Free internet access was great. However, although I had booked a non-smoking room, I was not provided one. Only by paying to upgrade to their "premium" rooms was I given a non-smoking room.

Description
Located hotel will please business travelers who need convenience and comfort while in Yokohama. Hotel is located just 3 minutes walk from the JR station Sakuragicho and within sight of the Yokohama Conference center, it will be difficult to find a better location while visiting the bustling city. On free time there are a numbers of interesting places near by that you want to visit including the famous Yokohama Chinatown.Rooms are outfitted with wonderful views of the harbor. For someone who had a long day of work or traveling on business, this will be a place where can relax and be comfortable.

The hotel was fully renovated in October 2007. There are 185 rooms all equipped with SIMMONS bed, high-speed internet, air-conditioning, LCD TV, refrigerator, hair dryer. Single rooms are 11 sqm with convenience and comfort. Our larger two bed room offers comfortable stay for leisure guests from overseas.
Our hotel locates 3 minutes walk from JR Tsurumi station, in between Shinagawa and Yokohama.

-double room was a good value, no complaints about the room .CLEAN & comfortable.
-didn't use hotel amenities; if you don't care about pools, gym etc. this hotel is fine
-staff wasn't fluent in English, but this goes for most of Japan, able to check in & out without difficulty
-nearby diners & restaurants with more "western" style foods

Description
A hotel for business and sightseeing that is located near an important commercial area and transportation center. It offers access to Tokyo's rail lines, its two airports by bus, and to Western Japan by Shinkansen.

There will be an annual electricity inspection and electronic appliance such as lights, air conditioning, elevator will not be usable during the below time. There is also possibility that PC and cell phones will not be usable.

Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel is a great option if staying in Yokohama.
Conveniently located in a nice area, close to restaurants, convenience stores, subway and train station.
There is a an airport limousine bus running between Narita airport and the hotel.
The rooms are clean and the views are spectacular. Try to get a room as high up as possible. The rooms may seem small by western standards but they offer good value for Japan.
The hotels staff are professional, helpful and English speaking.
I have stayed her on several occasions and look forward to my next visit.

(09/08 HT) It is a modern, 10-storey white building on Silk Dori street, one block away from Nihon-Odori Avenue. The hotel is located near the famous China Town, two minutes walk from Exit 3, Nihon-Odori station on Subway Minatomirai Line that directly serves to Shibuya, Tokyo. It is also 10 minutes walk from South Exit, Kannai Station on JR Keihin-Tohoku Line. From Narita International Airprot, shuttle bus service, Airport Limousine, runs to JR Yokohama Station. It takes only six minutes ride from JR Yokohama Station to Kannnai station. It takes approximately three minutes by taxi to go to Pacifico Yokohama, which is the biggest convention centre in Yokohama. Major tourist sites in Yokohama are walking distance from the hotel; Yokohama Stadium, Silk Museum, Museum of Yokohama Urban History, Kanagawa Prefecture Office, and Yokohama Museum of Eurasian Culture China Town, Yamashita Park .

Very clean hotel with a helpful and friendly staff. Jal City is within walkable distance to Yokohama Park, Yokohama Stadium, and China Town. The metro station is only a block away.

All area including guest rooms as well as public area is smoke-free (non-smoking space). The international convention center "Pacifico Yokohama" and major sightseeing spots in Yokohama such as Observatory of Landmark Tower, , Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, Ferris wheels "Cosmo clock 21", sail training ship and port museum "Nippon Maru" are all located in walking distance from the hotel. China town and Yamashita Park are also easily accessible by Minato-mirai Line. This is a perfect choice for both leisure and business travelers. There are a shopping mall and some restaurants in the same complex building. (06/11 HT) It is a modern, 19 storied building in white. The hotel is located just next to JR Sakuragicho station and is situated upper floor of "Colette Mare" building that is office, cinema and shopping complex. From Sakuragicho station, it takes 3 minutes ride of train to Yokohama station, 18 minutes to Shin Yokohama station where bullet train (Tokaido Shinkansen) stops at. From the hotel it takes 7 minutes by walk to subway Minatomirai station, from which it directly connects to Motomachi-chukagai (China Town) and Shibuya in Tokyo. One of the biggest convention centers in Japan "Pacifico Yokohama" is within walking distance via a commercial complex Landmark Plaza.

Description
This authentic classical hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Japan. An old main building is one of the memorial and historical buildings in Yokohama. The hotel is suitable for leisure travelers looking around Yokohama area and also is recommendable to business travelers who would like to be based in Yokohama area but would like to be in relaxing environment before and after work. (04/10 HT) It is composed of two building, the main and New Grand Tower. Both stand facing to Yamashita-Park and connected each other by a corridor inside. But each building has quite different characteristic. The main is a few stories historical landmark and New Grand Tower is a modern, 18-storey building. The hotel is on the best location for sightseeing in Yokohama, facing the bay of Yokohama overlooking Yamashita Park, between Motomachi and Minato-Mirai district. China Town is just two blocks away and other sightssing spots are also within walking distance. It is also convenient to go outside the area. It takes one minute walk from Motomachi Chukagai station on Minatomirai Subway line that directly connects with Yokohama station in 10 minutes, or Shibuya Station in 40 minutes. It takes 15 minutes by car from Yokohama Station.

I traveled to Tokyo on the first day of my trip after I checked in at 2pm and the room with the balcony was lovely. For the price the room cost, I believe that the coffee should have been free, but only tea bags were. I think I would rate this trip 8 on a 1-10 scale.

The Pan Pacific Yokohama Bay is very nice. Rooms are plenty big enough for two people. Bathroom has toilet and shower separate from vanity and tub area. Nice big towels. Closet did not have enough hangers (only 4), and carpet is a bit shabby, but every other amenity was top notch. You could get anything you wanted, just by pressing the service button on the phone. Free internet (you need the cable that is supplied by the hotel). This was a non-smoking room. It had a small refrigerator (the minibar) but no microwave. The breakfast buffet is awesome. Staff were English-speaking, customer-friendly and very attentive to guest needs. Hotel adjoins a large shopping mall with lots of restaurants and 2 train stations. The Convention Center is across the street, reached by pedestrian skyway, 2 minutes, max.
