Description
Being located downtown, the hotel is conveniently within walking distance of the major attractions and close by for activities such as fishing, golf and snow skiing. Takayama is a unique area, so-called the small Kyoto of Hida, with it's historical ties and easy access makes a perfect choice as a get away location. (1108NN) The hotel is a grey 7-story architecture that is very modern in style. The hotel is located in the Takayama Highlands area and is in downtown Takayama. From Tokyo Station, take the bullet train to Nagoya station and change for Takayama Station (JR Takayama line, 129 minutes) to Takayama Station. The hotel is just a minutes walk from JR Takayama Station and is within walking distance of local tourist attractions and shopping.

Takayama was out of the way just enough to make it difficult to always come up with cash. Visa was seen as the black plague to many of the small stores. A pity, because I would've bought a lot more souvenirs had I been able to use my credit cards.

Takayama has a charming, isolated mountain location, which has contributed to the survival of many unspoiled Edo period streets lined with tiny shops, museums, and eating places. This hotel is convenient for visiting most of the sightseeing spots here. (1108NN) The building is a high-rise 5-storey modern building. This hotel is in the historical city of Takayama, located in downtown Takayama, just one minute walk from JR Takayama station.It is approx 3 hours drive from Nagoya, or approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes from JR Nagoya station by express train(JR Takayama Line).

Great hotel ,great position ,staff a little distant but it may have been a language thing,position is right across road from station and there are many interesting little shops around the hotel.The many sights to be seen in this city are within easy walking distance of the hotel and we have recommended this place to our fellow travellers.

Being surrounded by the mountainous area, the hotel offers guests the chance to try an observation bath, an outdoor bath and a Jacuzzi on the top of floor of Kita building. Description
It is one of the newest hotels in Takayama, opened in early 2009. The hotel features a real hot spring public bath on the top floor of the building. It is small public bath (indoor and outdoor) and it offers a panoramic view of the entire cityscape of historical Takayama, while being relaxing space. It is a good choice for all travelers for its great location. (07/09 YT) It is a modern 9 storied building with an English sign. The hotel is located in downtown of Takayama and it is within a 5 minutes walk from JR Takayama Station. From JR Nagoya Train Station, take a 'Wide View Hida' express train and it takes about 2 hours and a half to get there. Almost all local tourist attractions and shopping spots are also within walking distance.

Our best feature is 2 hot springs which we own. From these hot springs/ we provide a lot of hot mineral water to our baths. We have many baths/ such as outdoor rock baths/ Hinoki wood baths in the Gasho-style building and private baths. Enjoy a relaxing bath filled with fresh/ running hot spring water. Experience the true relaxation of Japanese hot mineral baths and enjoy the mountainous scenery at the same time.
