This Hotel was moe than adequate for my needs as a solo traveller. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room supplied everything I required. The closeness to a JR station was of prime importance to me as I was travelling alone and had luggage. Local transport was also very close with a hop on and off bus nearby. I would highly recommend this Hotel and would stay there again.

Description
The hotel opened in middle of 2009 as one of the new landmarks of Sendai city centre. It provides convenient location and high standard of services. The public bath on the 18th floor is also available to all staying guests for free. Small meeting room and business centre is also available. The hotel is one of recommendable choices in city centre both for leisure and business travelers. (06/10 YT) It is a very modern stylish building, 18 storied and colored in grey. The hotel is located in the city centre, only a few minutes walk from West Exit 1 of Hirosedori Subway Station and 12 minutes walk even from West Exit of JR Sendai Station where the bullet train (Tohoku Shinkansen) is running to / from Tokyo Terminal station. From Sendai Airport, the airport express train takes to JR Sendai Station in only 25 minutes. The shopping and entertainment district is also easy to access.

Description
The Holiday Inn Sendai opened on 20th, July 2001 with the hotel is located just 6 minutes walk from Sendai Station. Sendai is 1 hour 40 minutes on the Tohoku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station and 70 minutes by air from Osaka. The hotel is ideally situated for business and pleasure stays. There are many of Sendai's major cultural and historical venues in close proximity to the hotel; such as Aoba Castle, Miyagi Museum, Sendai Stadium and Rinnoji Temple. Sendai is also famous for its seasonal events; such as the Aoba-Matsuri Festival showcasing impressive warriors and priests marching in the springtime. In the summer the "Tanabata Festival" will give guests the opportunity to feast their eyes on the colorful streamers waving under the summer skies. Autumn brings the annual Jazz Festival with Winter displaying fascinating illuminated trees at the "Pageant of Starlight".

BEST WESTERN Hotel Sendai is located on a quiet hill at an altitude of 180 meters. This location provides a wonderful view of Sendai City. We have 179 spacious guest rooms of more that 35 square meters, which will make you feel comfortable and give you an atmosphere different from real life. In addition it takes only one minute to arrive at the golf club adjoining our hotel. Adjacent to our hotel is a large around the clock shopping mall and restaurants surrounded by greenery. We promise your satisfaction!

This hotel has varieties of banquet / meeting rooms. On the basement floor, there is a delicatessen and a beauty complex providing various beauty treatment and relaxation massage programs. (11/08 HT) It is a modern, 12-storey white building in front of Sendai Teishin Hospital. The hotel is located in the heart of Sendai city; only 5 minutes walk from the West Exit (Main Exit) of JR Sendai station, which is one of the stations on bullet train (Tohoku Shinkansen). It takes about 120 minutes from Tokyo to Sendai by bullet train. One of the tallest buildings in Sendai city "SS30" is just next to this hotel. Sendai Airport is 25 minutes by train from Sendai station.

昼食は期待が大きすぎたのか、並でした。
朝食バイキングの内容はよかったですが、食器の一部に洗い残しが見られました。
チェックイン時の予定の部屋の清掃がされておらず、しばらく外出するようにいわれました。それは困ります13時から2時間どうしても使う必要があるから予約しましたと言ったところ、シングル料金のままツインに変えてもらい、とてもラッキーでした。

通常の電話予約で宿泊した場合であれば、ごく普通のホテルという評価になる。
価格だけで選ぶならもっと安いビジネスホテル、価格にこだわらずに、立地条件やサービスで選ぶなら、もっと駅に近いホテルや繁華街にも近いホテルはある。
しかし、ホテルクラブで予約をした場合には、このクラスのホテルがビジネスホテル並みの料金で、宿泊することが可能になり、価格、設備、立地条件のバランスが取れて満足出来るサービスが受けられる。
仙台駅から徒歩5分、繁華街の国分町から徒歩10分と、ＪＲを利用した場合、便利さでは満点とは言えないが、市街地の国道沿いでも静かな環境で、騒音もなく快適な部屋になっている。
自家用車を利用した場合、地下駐車場が24時間で1000円と格安である。
フロントを一切通らずに、24時間ホテルに出入り出来るので、プライバシーも守られていて、来客を部屋に招き入れる事も可能である。

There are a lot of choices of restaurants, both local and international menu around the hotel. This hotel is suitable for both business and leisure travelers because of the convenient location. There is a convenience shop on the ground floor. (12/07 HT) It is a modern, nine storey white building on Ichiban-cho avenue. The hotel is located in the heart of Kokubun-cho area, Sendai City. It takes only two minutes walk from subway Hirose-Dori station Exit West-5, which is just one stop away from Sendai station. It would be a nice stroll to go through lively local shopping arcades between JR Sendai station to the hotel. JR Sendai station is one of the major stations on bullet train (Tohoku Shinkansen) and from the bullet train station, it takes only 90 minutes to Tokyo.
