More than adequate for downtown Sapporo

Very friendly and helpful staff even if you don't speak much Japanese. We booked last minute and they didnt have any non smoking rooms left which was more our fault than anyone elses. They were very apologetic about this. Room was small but had everything we needed. Overall the decor is average but definitely clean and sufficiently modern. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget but still looking for an acceptable hotel room in the downtown area. Light sleepers might find its location a bit noisy. Those looking to stumble home from this area of town will love the location though.

The hotel was very convienient, and over the right side of town to walk to the Sapporo Beer Musuem.
Shame the hotel did not have a bar, but as a convienient stop to explore Sapporo it did the trick.
Good value.

I lived in Sapporo for 1 ½ years in the late eighties and last visited it in the mid nineties. This 2-week trip was a long awaited revisit and reunion with a dear friendship I made in the eighties and have not seen since the nineties. The hotel was selected based on its location to Nakajima Koen, which is very familiar to me, and the modern and clean look of the interior spaces of the hotel and the guest room. It was in a quiet neighborhood, near the Toyohira Kawa (again familiar) and convenient to the Makomanai subway line for travel to the shopping (street or underground levels) and entertainment areas. The staff and amenities were perfect. If the website had indicated the amenities included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, I would not have lugged mine from the US. The mini frig was a nice surprise (storing outside food), an electric water kettle, and tea and teacups.
A room safe and much larger closet (it was no more than 2 feet wide) are preferred, but definitely not a deal breaker. Only area for improvement would be to get rid of that terrible “sour towel” smell emitting from the cloth shower curtain, which occurs when you leave wet clothing/towels too long to dry in an area not conducive to air circulation/drying, resulting in that awful smell. Several times, I drew soapy baths to soak/clean the shower curtain, then after rehanging on the curtain rod, I draped the bottom portion over the clothesline to dry with air circulating (not wet and bunched up or matted against the tub walls). Helped a little but that curtain needed a major hot bleach water wash. The walls are thin though as a few nights I heard someone snoring from the adjacent guest room and I am a light sleeper requiring quiet.
The front desk staff was excellent. Without noting she was off at 5 PM, one exceptional person agreed to meet me the day before I left to assist me in performing my online airline check in on the hotel computer. I only learned she was assisting me on her own time after we encountered problems with the site. I was extremely grateful and impressed with her customer service skills.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in in Japan, not necessary facilities wise, but really, the friendly and helpful staff made the stay there truly comfortable and enjoyable. It's location near the Nakajima Park subway also makes it very convenient for those who do not drive.

My family and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in June. It was a pleasant experience for us. The room, though is small, is very clean and modernly featured. The front office staff can speak English and that is very important for tourists like me who cannot understand Japanese. They are accommodating and would accede to guests' requests. The hotel is conveniently located in the area where you can find eateries everywhere! It is close to the train station where the underground shopping begins (pole town). All in all, thumbs up to this hotel.

This is in a great location, shopping, food and close to train station exit . But unlike with most Japanese hotel the rooms it is not small and a good bathroom. We would definitely stay again and can rcommend.

The hotel is a modern squared concrete building, and brown in color. The hotel is located in the center of Sapporo city. Access to all shopping areas and Susukino entertainment areas can be reached on foot. Access from the airport can be made quite easily as there is a bus stop near the hotel.

Best Buffet breakfast going, real sunny side up, and thick toast. All very good. Excellent location, Motomarchi, Odori, and Susukino all an easy walk. Airport bus directly across the road. Absoluetly recommend. Vending machines, no beer, unusual for Japan. Good English spoken, all very helpful.

This small hotel finished renovation works recently. This is one of the comfortable hotels to stay for both business and leisure travelers due to the friendly and warm services. (01/09 YT) The hotel is a nine storey, grey building. This is very stylish with glass panels on the surface. There is a signboard of the hotel name in English on top of the building. The hotel is located in the centre of Sapporo, near Nakajima Park, less than 10 minuets walk from Susukino district. It takes 10 minuets by car from JR Sapporo Station or 5 minuets walk from a subway station, Nakajima Park. Many of tourist attractions can be accessed easily by public transportation or on foot. From New Chitose Airport, take express train to Sapporo Station. It is approximately 40 minuets journey.

Stayed in the triple room with 2 friends. The rooms are not big but ours was comfortably set up with 2 twins and a pull out couch. Modern and stylish urban design, similar to the W chain. The Japanese style spa/hot tub on top floor is a great feature. Staff spoke good English especially for Japanese standards. Located about 8 mins walk from train station and 20 min walk from the main nightlife area (or 700 yen cab ride).

This is very good superior tourist class hotel in Sapporo. The hotel adopts a high-security IC card key system for all guestrooms and also features a public bath with negative ionic water for all guests. The hotel is designed and produced by well-known Japanese space architect "Hiroyuki Kurokawa" with the concept of Light and Shadow. It is in a rich and quiet environment with natures of The Toyohira River and Nakajima Park. (06/10 YT) It is a seven storied concrete modern building, colored in grey. The hotel is situated in southern part of Sapporo, near The Toyohira River and the greenery of the Nakajima Park. From New Chitose Airport, it takes approximately 35 minutes by Express Train to JR Sapporo Station, then, takes another 6 minutes (4 stops) by Subway Nanboku Line to Horohirabashi Station. The hotel is located within a few minutes walk from Horoshirabashi Station. All tourist attractions and famous entertainment district "Susukino" are also within short access by subway transportation.

This is a superior tourist, 3 star hotel, with a full range of amenities and a number of services provided at the guests request. (03/10 YT) The hotel is a 12-storey modern concrete building, light brown in color. The size of the building is so large that can't be missed.
