The room in which I stayed was very well appointed and looked great. The staff were helpful and the location was excellent as the hotel is joined to the JR Station Niigata. It made getting there very easy especially as it was raining the day I arrived.

This is one of the biggest hotels in Niigata. The hotel is suitable for both travelers on leisure or business.(1210YT) It is a modern, white 15-story building. This is one of the landmarks in Niigata along the Shinano River. It is situated in an ideal position, facing the Shinano River, right in the very heart of Niigata City. Travel time from Tokyo is only one hour and 40 minutes by bullet train. Alternatively, the hotel is a 20 minute drive from Niigata International Airport.

Description
There is an observatory on the top floor (31st floor). (04/07HT) It is a modern, 31-storey silver building along the Shinano River. It is the tallest building in Niigata and can be landmark of the city. Located next to Niigata Convention Center (Toki Messe), which is one of the biggest convention centers along cost of Japan sea, the hotel stands along famous Shinano River, the longest river in Japan. It takes 7 minutes taxi ride from JR Niigata station, terminal of bullet train (Joetsu Shinkansen) from Tokyo within 2 hours. Also the hotel provides free shuttle bus from a bus-stop close by Niigata station (in front of Hotel Rich, 200 meters from exit of station). From Niigata Airport it is within 30 minutes taxi ride. Boat terminal for Sado Island,the biggest island in Japan, is within walking distance.

信濃川に面して日本海を一望できる、とても素晴らしい場所にあるホテルだと思います。 お天気に恵まれ、太陽が地平線に沈むところを部屋の中で見届けられたことは感動でした。朝食も美味しく、何よりイベントがあった朱鷺メッセと連結しているのはとても便利だと思います。ただ残念だったことは、バスルームに体毛が落ちていたことですでも。次回イベントの機会があったら是非また利用させて下さい。

The view from the hotel is fabulous--the rooms are on the 22nd floor and above, so you can see the city, the river, and the sea of japan. The room was very clean. It smelled a little bit like cigarette smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room, but the hotel was very nice.

The hotel is suitable for travelers on business. (0905HT) It is a modern, 13-story white building. This hotel is located in front of JR Niigata Station, the terminal of bullet train (Joetsu Shinkansen). Also the bus terminal for local buses is right in front of hotel. It takes 25 minutes by taxi from Niigata International Airport.

The hotel has several banquet/conference rooms and one of them has the biggest capacity in Niigata city. Because of its location, the hotel is a good choice for both business and leisure travellers. (01/08 HT) It is a modern, 16-storey white building, with a-half-round shape. The hotel is located in the heart of city, only 10 minutes walk or 3 minutes by car from JR Niigata station which is the terminal of bullet train (Joetsu Shinkansen). From Tokyo, it is 2hours journey by the bullet train. Niigata Airport is 20 minutes by car and "Toki Messe", the biggest convention hall in Niigata is 5 minutes by car.
