Very good stay in Nagoya

In general, I don't have a good impression for Hilton Group in the US and Japan. But Hilton Nagoya was an exception to me.
Staffs were very helpful to us. On check-in, they gave us a cold towel to wash hands and cool down face. It was very hot in Nagoya and it gave us refreshment, a good idea! And my wife had pain in the neck and asked a cold compress. And they kindly look for one in their medical room and gave it to her. Very good experience for us.
Location is convenient. You can walk to many shops, restaurants, cafe, metro station etc.

The Hotel Hilton Nagoya was perfect for using as a starting point. The hotel staff full-filled all my requests on information and advise on sightseeing. Great dinning and bar. I would love to come back.

About a 5 minute walk from Nagoya station, this Chisun Inn is very convenient for anyone on business or on vacation. The layout has somewhat of a college dorm feel but there wasn't any problem with that. I'd recommend this place.

the b nagoya is ideally located in the downtown area of Sakae facing the leafy Hisaya Street. It is situated in the centre of the business, sightseeing and shopping precincts and is just a few minutes from two major subway stations, Sakae and Yabacho making the hotel ideal for the business or leisure traveler. The Lawson which is located on the first floor of the building is open 24 hours and will make your stay more convenient.

The location of the B Hotel was great- close to so much going on in Nagoya. Staff was friendly, breakfast was very good and room was cozy. It was not as big as standard hotel rooms typically are, but beds were a bit softer than Japanese hotel beds tend to be, as were the pillows. The bathroom, however, was extremely small- akin to being in an RV or on board a cruise ship. But everything was clean and more than adequate. I would stay here again!

A small hotel with adequate rooms but one with an excellent and obliging staff. Very convenient to rail and bus transport. All day store next door. Excellent internet facilities with free, good quality coffee available. Well priced varied and enjoyable breakfast. Definite revisit if we are back in Nagoya.

Not the best in Nagoya - small rooms and outdated. The location really depends on what you need, but not really close to anything of interest. I was surprised at what I got for the price.......

A good 3 star hotel located well for either sightseeing or business with comfortable rooms and plenty of courteous staff on hand. (0908YY) The hotel is a modern 10 storey building. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from Nagoya JR Station and is well positioned for shopping and restaurants.

The hotel is not next to the station as mentioned on the internet site. But it is very close and convenient. The staff upgraded my room which after a busy day working it was very well received as Japanese rooms are usually very small. But this unexpected upgrade was very welcome. If you can open your suitcase and sleep on the bed in a Japanese hotel it is a good day! I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Good enough

The hotel is "good enough." The rooms are extremely small, literally just a foot or so around the bed, but the bed is large (queen size roughly) and the room has everything you need. The bathroom is fine, internet connection (cable, no wireless, so your iPad won't work) is available, a small TV, tea cattle, hair fan, other little things are there, very clean. Breakfast is limited to rise, mix-juice, muffins, canned fruits, a few other semi-junk-food items. I wasn't impressed, but it was ok as far as getting your calories. They also offer free drinks between 8 and 10 pm, but I don't seem much value in it. The breakfast/dinner area is right in the lobby, so it's not really cozy. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Subway is just 2 min away, a couple of museums right here, so the location is very convenient. The personnel is extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, if you need a bed for a comparatively low price, this is your choice. If you need more, if you come with a family, if you need space to exercise, you may want to look for something bigger. But again, as far as a place to lay you head at night - this is a good-enough place.

Upon arrival the the Comfort Inn Nagoya Chiyoda we were greeted courteous, efficient staff who had our reservation on hand and directed us to our room on the ninth floor...the entrance and lobby was nicely appointed...fresh and clean. Upon landing at the ninth floor we noticed that the carpets while clean were spotted and begged for a rug cleaning...no offensive odors however. We noticed upon entering that the exterior and interior could use some fresh paint as there were nicks and scratches on the door frame and door. The carpet was again spotty and in need of cleaning,the room was small, but comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed the complitary breakfast, which is more than a continental one which included boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal as well as, musubi (riceballs), and sushi, tea and rice, coffee, juice, rolls, toast etc etc...very nice. The location was good, being within walking distance to the Nagoya train station. We were especially pleased with the cost, which was half the cost of our stay in Osaka.

The hotel had very friendly and polite staff members. The service was exceptionally good; even the doorboy who carried my baggage to the room often had a good smile when he recognized me after coming back to the hotel from outside. Highly recommend to all visitors to Nagoya.
