The location of this hotel is excellent as it is within walking distance of the railway station and also walking distance of the historical centre including the arena where the operas and other performances are staged. The reception was friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good including lots of fresh seasonal fruit. We were very happy with our stay.

The hotel is located on a wide, well known street, slightly south of the middle of town. We drove to Verona and from the location convenient for driving to the airport, but also convenient for walking around the core of Verona. The arena, the big Roman job is nearby, as is shopping and Juliet's famous balcony.
Parking is very resistive, but there were two lots close by. We were in six hotles in Italy on this trip and found the Firenze's internet the best of them all.
The air conditioning worked better than most and the interior room decor was fresh. The hallways were quite as well.
The English spoken by the staff was much better than average.
The breakfast was the most complete and freshest of any we had on the trip.

The hotel is about 2km away from the center of town and the tourist places. the hotel is very nice, the bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing after some other hotels around Italy....
the TV sucks (mostly italian, like the rest of the country) but the staff was very nice and helpful.

This hotel was a bit out of the way but, the walk to the City Center if Verona wasn't bad and it was pretty much a straight shot to the Colosseum. It was very clean and comfortable. We were very happy to stay and would stay again.

The Hotel San Luca is located in a building dating back to the mid-19th century, which once housed a tannery. Years later it was purchased by the Zuccari family that rebuilt the structure to make a splendid, small hotel, meticulously furnished and fitted with every comfort. The Hotel offers various accommodation options with single and double rooms, a splendid junior suite and an exclusive suite. The building: The Hotel San Luca, run by the Zuccari family, is elegant and sophisticated, featuring a warm and familiar atmosphere. The building's interior underwent a radical renovation. Consequently, the majority of what you will see is new, but the atmosphere is undoubtedly old world. The building most likely dates back to the mid-19th century. The style of the building was heavily influenced by the nearby Mattatoio, a former slaughterhouse designed by the great architect Ireneo Aleandri who also designed the city's Teatro Nuovo theatre and Traversa Interna (interior passageway) Of particular interest is the beautiful interior courtyard with the Holy Wellspring, accessible from a spacious gallery that is similar to a cloister. The hall: As you enter the hotel, freshness and brightness will surround you: the natural light filters through the arcade that opens into the central courtyard and reflects on the room's pastel walls. In the hall, comfortable armchairs are arranged around an 18th-century fireplace and antique furnishings make guests feel right at home. Two canaries occupy an antique birdcage, which blends nicely with the background of pastel colors from the striking collection of 19th-century tureens on display.

The AC did not work, and it was quite hot in the afternoon. The room was tiny, even by European standards. The wireless internet was ridiculous, it only worked at 2 hour intervals. I happened to be there for work, and had an important deadline and kept having to run downstairs for a new ID and password.

Pleasant, elegant hotel in a very convenient position for sightseeing, shopping, and restaurants. In the summertime, there is a beautiful garden in the courtyard. RO 06/08 Beautiful, 4-storey building from the early 1920s. On the external facade are still preserved the original features of the Liberty period. The hotel is located in Corso Porta Nuova, in the heart of medieval Verona, at few steps from the Arena and Piazza D'Erbe.
Access is easy and straight from the motorway exit, railway station, and public transports.

Absolutely wonderful hotel in a gorgeous city. My only suggestion woul be to ask for a top-floor room as the noise penetration from above was a bit loud, especially if you're sensitive to noise. Otherwise, everything was perfect. PS If you're travelling alone, ask for the "single" size room, as it had a double bed in it.

It was an extremely pleasant stay, the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and the hotel itself was very well appointed, decor was beautiful and the hotel was well positioned as well. Breakfast was very pleasant. I stay in hotels around 100 nights a year for work, and I have to say this would have to rate up there as one of my favourite! Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

Excellent quality hotel in an ideal location. It offers nothing less than good hotels of higher category. Highly recommended. (CQ 08/09) This is an historical building painted white with green shutters. Hotel is located in the heart of the Historical centre, just a short walk from the Arena. The hotel is located just at the beginning of the pedestrian area therefore you can still reach it by car. The area offers a variety of bars and restaurants. Via Mazzini, with all its many shops and brand names is ideal for shopping lovers. The street terminates in Piazza delle Erbe, on the left, one the most charming site of the city, and on the right, there is the famous balcony of Giulietta. The historical centre of Verona is full of historical sites that can be explored just on foot: teatro Romano, Santa Anastasia Church, Piazza Erbe, centre of city life during Roman times, etc.

Very pleasant hotel in an excellent position. RO 0309 Grey stone traditional building, with architecture similar to many buildings in Verona dating back to the beginning of the twentieth century. The hotel is situated in the heart of the historical city centre of Verona, between the famous squares Piazza Bra and Piazza Erbe. The Arena where an opera festival takes place in summer is just 5 minutes away by foot.

Very good standard hotel in convenient location. The hotel also has a beautiful wellness centre with jacuzzi, Turkish and roman bath, thermarium, kneipp track, gym and outdoor swimming pool. A variety of beauty treatments are also available. Access to the wellness centre must be booked at the hotel and paid for on the spot. RO 03/08 The building is a combination of modern and old. The big glass facade reveals a more traditional villa at the back of the hotel. Located near the city centre, at approximately 3km from the famous Arena and the historical centre.

Globalement les prestations sont conformes au descriptif sur lequel on peu se reposer pour opérer un choix en toute quiétude; c'est un hôtel agréable . Seul bémol,le pdj buffet relève plus d'un 2* que du 4* auquel il prétend : pas d'oeuf , jus d'orange "chimique",un seul type de pain de qualité primaire ... Au niveau équipement pour un 4*, on pourrait s'attendre aux WC séparés de la sdb.Bien vu le parking souterrain (à 9€).

La propreté n'était pas particulièrement méticuleuse, même si nous n'avions pas une suite à 300 €, je pense qu'un hôtel 4* se doit d'être irréprochable quant à l'hygiene. Draps propres mais présentant des brulures de cigarette, parois de douche avec des poils et pomme de douche blindée de calcaire, "traces" non-identifiées sur la porte de la salle de bain... Et je n'ai pas fait d'inspection! Sinon, l'hôtel est à côté de l'aéroport, pas de bruit dans la chambre, mais du coup mal situé par rapport à Vérona, un peu loin du centre.

Stanza doppia confortevole, ma per essere un hotel 4 stelle ha offerto accessori da bagno e da camera inadeguati al livello: no ciabatte da camera, no accessori da viaggio, solo le solite boccette di shampoo e bagnoschiuma. Navetta andata e ritorno per la Fiera di Verona a pagamento € 15,00 a persona, del tutto inaspettate al momento del saldo. Postazione Internet a pagamento (€ 3,00 per 30 min) e navigazione wireless gratuita con proprio PC. Considerando di aver usufruito di un buon last-minut in pieno periodo di VinItaly, il soggiorno è andato bene. Angela & Piergiorgio

Description
The Novo Hotel Rossi has 38 rooms, recently refurnished in an elegant and comfortable style and all provided with a host of modern comforts. It is convenientely located 1,5 Km from the historical centre and only 200 metres from Porta Nuova Railway Station. The rich buffet breakfast is served in 2 breakfast rooms and, during the summer season, also on the terrace. Our guests can either use the closed private parking which is included in the room rate or the garage which is available on request and payment. The Hotel offers free bicycle rental service and during Opera season, a ticket service is available on request. Safety deposit box is available for use at reception. WI-FI interntet connection is available on request and payment in the lobby.

Excellent service but a 20 minute walk

The walk in was a bit of a hassle being close to the train station and a bit rough but the hotel was great with an extremely helpful and friendly staff. The room was good with a turn down service and chocolates!
