After traveling from Rome to Florence and then on to Venice by train this hotel was perfectly located across the street from the train station. The bus was also right there that we took into town. Would recommend this hotel.

We arrived at around 10 in the morning and since the room wasent ready the staff let us store our baggage in the back room. Not exactly secure but at least we didn't have to tote them around until our room was ready. They also have a safe for jewelry.

Our room was comfortable and kept spotless by hotel staff.The buffet breakfast was good as was the dining room in the evening.Sevice was excellent by all staff members at the hotel.The hotel was close to the airport, train station and Venice.Buying a multiple day transit pass is valid on the the buses to and from Venice,as well as the water buses a.k.a. Vaperetto in Venice.

We had two rooms and both were nice, lower level rooms were a lot more quiet.
Loved the setting and close to airport. Hotel did not have promised airport shuttle, which was not ideal.
Great restaurant across the street, as the hotel itself only offers very limited food items. Breakfast was included in the rate and was great!
Hotel was build with high quality materials and nice neutral design... would go back, no doubt.
Staff could have been friendlier at check in.

Room is spacious, added a folding bed for 30 euro. Right across the bus station which took us to Piaza Roma in about 10 minutes from where you can go around Venice.

I thought the hotel was fairly priced, rooms were spacious and very clean. The beds are very hard, so if you like a firm mattress... Right outside the hotel, you can catch a bus straight to Piazza Roma in Venice.

Das Hotel ist sehr zweckmässig, liegt zentral für Reisen in die Lagune und perfekt für Trips nach Venedig. Ausstattung für Venedig 5 Sterne. Restauration gut aber beim Frühstück ist es manchmal hektisch, wenn zu viele Tagesreiser (Busreisen) abreisen müssen. Pool und Fitness toll. Wenn die Bepflanzung etwas höher ist wird auch der Umgebungslärm kaum mehr wahrnehmbar sein.

Titian Inn - Nice, Modern, Convenient to Airport

We walked to this hotel at night from the Airport - it is not too far and easy to do if you look at internet mapping and satellite views first (and only have a light bag). Desk staff was pleasant and spoke English. Room was recently refurbished in a very nice, chic, modern Italian design style. Nice free breakfast early (from 4:30 am?) until later - long hours. City tax of about 1 euro per person payable in cash at checkout. Couple of places to eat just to NE of hotel - about 100 yards towards the airport. SW of hotel (away from airport) about 150 yards is a bus stop for the blue ACTV local #5 bus that will stop (if you flag it down) and take you right to Piazzala Roma in Venice. This bus runs every 15 minutes and the trip takes about 20. The hotel can sell you bus tickets for 1.30 euros per person (vs 5 euros from Airport). Just scan your ticket after you get on the bus to validate it.

The desk clerk gave us detailed instructions on how to navigate Murano and Burano without a guide, and how to get to and from Venice proper easily. The hotel is on the mainland, but in a quiet spot with good and fast connections. We particularly enjoyed dinner on our last night. We ate in the quiet garden next to the owner's family. She treated us like one of the family, even helping to serve. She sincerely thanked us for coming and even met us at the desk the next morning. These touches really made the stay excellent.

This wonderful hotel, exceeded out expectations for a 4 star hotel! Not only was it a beautiful villa turned hotel, very clean, amazing rooms and outdoor seating and serving area, flowers everywhere, but the owners and staff treated us like family. Their breakfast was great, we would sit outside in the garden and be served cappuccino and cookies and relax after long days touring Venice. They had a beautiful restaurant in the hotel also, which also went out of their way to just make us a sandwich which was all we wanted when they were in the midst of a grand dinner event. We chose this hotel for our 3 night pre cruise out of Venice. It was in the Mestre area which is actually on the mainland about 20 minutes to the island of Venice and its train station and Vaporetto/water bus system. The Mestre bus system is right in from of the hotel so it took us everywhere quickly and easily to the island of Venice and surrounding islands of Murano. The staff had advised us of the availability of buying these daily passes for this bus and Vaporetto which was unlimited access. We would advise anyone to take advantage of this right at their hotel desk. Much easier that buying them at the docks. The only negative thing we could say about this place was that we had to leave this wonderful villa for our cruise. We could say a lot more but will leave you with this,..... it was Bello!!

I didn't want to spend $300 a night, so started looking at hotels on the mainland in mestre. This was opposite the station so was as close as it could be. Transport links are also as good as tehy could be with frequent busses and trains, but the journey still took about 20 - 40 minutes a go. The hotel is simple, clean, spacious, efficient and affordable - a combination i was told was impossible in Venice. It also affords the possibility to explore real life for Venetians a bit in Mestre.

We disembarked from a cruise in Venice and were looking for a hotel on the mainland to stay at for one night prior to flying home. This hotel fit our needs perfectly! For 4 of us plus luggage, it was a 32 Euro cab ride from the cruise terminal. The room was fairly spacious and very clean, and the bathroom was quite nice. The front desk staff was very helpful when it came to answering questions regarding getting to/from the island of Venice, as well as getting to the airport. After checking in, we had some time for sightseeing in Venice. Located just across the street from the Mestre train station, it was super easy to get to the island and back (10-15 minute train ride, 1.20 Euro per person each way). As for getting to the airport, that was easy as well. The hotel is located just across the street from an airport shuttle bus stop (20 minute drive, 5 Euro per person with luggage).

The only free computer was at the front desk. The breakfast was nice but cost 11Euros. The shuttle to the island from the hotel was 8 Euros and was only available at certain times. To park the car at the hotel it was another charge. It was inconvenient to then go to the island and drag you suitcase with you as we many people did. This made us decide to check out in the morning as my husband got up early and used Orbitz to find a place on the island. It was the best decision we made!!

Fine choice for last night before flight

We had a 7:10am flight out of Venice Marco Polo, so I booked this hotel for our last night in Italy rather than using a water taxi at 5am the next morning to get to VCE. It was a very good decision. The hotel was quite new, modern, and comfortable, and a welcome change after staying at 8 other upscale older hotels in city centers on our long trip. The in-house restaurant is very good for dinner. Staff is fluent in English. We took the #5 bus from Piazalle Roma (near the Venice train station), only about 15 minutes to get to hotel using our 3-day vaporetto transit pass. Free shuttle to airport at 5am the next morning was great.

Used the hotel to stay after a Mediterranean cruise. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very good [...].The rooms were samllish which was to be expected as was the bathroom. The fixtures in the bathroom were very nice as was the decor in the rooms. The beds were very comfortable. My stay would have been perfect if it wasn't for the rude front desk clerk.

An average hotel in a quiet place near Mestre Railway Station, kept by chinese diaspora. Chinese restaurant on a ground floor, and a nice pizzeria next door.
Good transport connections to the center of Venice and Marco Polo airport.

Nice hotel, stuff speak english and very friendly, they will give you any information you need. the location is great, right next to the bus station to Venice. the breakfast is nice, bus the room was small, the bed wad attached to the wall from one side, much smaller from the photos in their web site. No good resturants around it.
Bottom line: recommanded for those who don't want to stay in Venice, bus want to get their by bus easily.

This hotel was a little on the small side but it's good for the location. The staff was friendly, and they spoke English well. It is a good hotel. The breakfast selection is good. Their pickup service is good. Overall, the hotel is well run. It is a solid 3 star hotel.

Novotel is pretty good, modern, clean fantastic breakfast buffet. workout area very disappointing, also TV set in the workout area and in my room were poorly wired, few stations. My only complaint though is that I had been searching for hotels by the Venice airport, and I must have made a mistake that took me to this Novotel. It was 10 miles or so from the airport, in the outskirts of Mestre, a USD 50 cab ride from the airport. And no simple way of getting to Venice for some tourism. And another $50 to go from the hotel to the airport. Made for a dismal business trip to the Venice area.

The hotel is modern,clean, comfortable, well located near the Mestre train station. Employees were generally friendly and helpful. Free internet access in the lobby, a pool and fitness center are also available.
Bar and restaurant on site as well, while adequate, a bit expensive as is to be expected. The hotel is used by Trafalgar Tours, so be ready for 4 busloads of tourists to descend on the hotel lobby to check in or for departure.

about 15 minutes bus ride from hotel to the city. It was very quiet at night and quite difficult to locate as it was located at a side lane. Overall experience, it was a nice hotel but inconvenience.

If you plan to arrive in Venice by car the location of this hotel is perfect. There is bus stop right outside the hotel that will take you to and from Venice.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast is average.

Simple, but nice and clean hotel on a main street.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
Location is good if you want to avoid downtown Venice, since this hotel is in Mestre, which is easy access from the main train station. Bus stop outside the door of the hotel to Mestre bus center, then easy 20 minute ride by public bus to Venice.
Breakfast a bit sparce. Still a great value for the price, compared to hotels in Venice.

A modern hotel near romantic Venice.

We were there for a congress, which was also held in te hotel. All the accomodations for the congress were perfect. At the breaks, biscuits, coffee, juice, etc was provided.
We visited Venice to, and the hotel provides a free service a day for transport. If you use bus or train, you only have a short walk of 10 minutes to the hotel. The hotel itself lies in a quiet area.
One evening, we ate at the hotel, and the diner was very good.

The NH Laguna Palace in Mestre is a quick bus trip away from Venice. A short 5 minute walk to the bus stop will bring you directly to the island. The complex is very new, modern, and comfortable facility. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Laying outside by the boat dock was a pleasure as well. Overall, a great complex nicely secluded from the hustle and bustle of the Venice island.

This was a fine hotel. However[...] it says that there is an airport shuttle. This is not true. The hotel is quite a distance from the airport and it cost 40 Euro for the transport that the desk arranged. While the price of the room was reasonable, it was really more when adding in the airport transport cost.

We did stay in Marghera a industrial town near venice. The hotel was conveniently located near the bus stop and didnt take long getting into Mestre/Venice. The rooms were small but adequate and clean enough. the television had a mind of its own but hey we were not there to sit in the room so didnt bother us much.

The staff at the hotel were wonderfully helpful! Friendly and spoke english which really made things easy for us. The Hotel was clean and though the room was small it was all we needed after a long day in Venice. The hotel is a bus ride away from Venice and it would have been nicer to stay a little closer, but due to the vacation season prices on Venice had skyrocketed! This hotel is very close to a direct bus line to Venice and within a longer walking distance to the rail station. You can purchase bus and water taxi passes right at the hotel. Did not explore the immediate area too much other than to get dinner one night. Dinner was o.k. We did have a problem with a few mosquitos in our room but from what I hear you'll find that all over Venice too!

It was a great value for the money in Venice. The desk staff was extreemly friendly and their recommendations (a 24 hour bus and vapporetto pass)for getting to old Venizia saved us money. The room was adequate and clean for the price. Getting to and from the hotel was a bit pricy for a taxi as we had a lot of luggage, but a bus trip would have been a pice of cake with a smaller load. The included breakfast was wonderful.

The hotel has been and is being refurbished. They are doing an excellant job of refurbishing. The rooms are on the small side, but are very nice and clean. The biggest negative is that in late March the air conditioning was not turned on and we had to leave the windows open with a busy street beneath. Very easy to get to Venice or the airport by bus at a cost of just over one euro. The bus stops were very close to the airport.

Tottaly unsatisfied. some time ago we've stayed in another hotel in the vicinity and only chose this one for its proximity to the railway station connecting Mogliano Veneto with Venice. But certainly wasn't worth it. Room was small, very much smaller than the ones on photos and there was yesterday's bread for breakfast. Btw. there was nothing continental about it. Coffee machine was blowing the milk everywhere but into cups and I had to change all of my clothes. There was a child belonging to one of staff moving around tables and checking the food and noone seemed to bother.
I'm not a fussy customer but they won't see me again!

Hotel Holiday是本次行程中真的有達三星水準的飯店!(義大利飯店都好老舊~三星看起來比台灣一星還不如,這間真的是又新又大又漂亮!!)而且有免費的wifi可用(電腦和i phone都可以喔!)非常棒!不過因為位在麥斯特雷的小鎮裡,從麥斯特雷車站到飯店還需要20分鐘(搭輕軌,每人1.5歐左右),到威尼斯必須從飯店先搭輕軌電車到COLOMBO公車站,再轉搭4L號公車到威尼斯,交通有點麻煩,建議若要住該飯店,可以租車(自行開車),飯店附近的環境很清幽,房子都很有特色很可愛,治安好像也不錯,但附近餐廳比較少,飲食也會有點影響! (附近有一間印度烤雞店非常好吃!!)整體而言仍是值得推薦的好飯店!

Not Bad for Close to Venice

This hotel is close to the bus stop and a ride into Venice is only about 15 minutes, which is great. The WiFi situation was not ideal (you have to pay and then it barely worked and we ended up being charge for far more than we used), but the room was relatively nice (hair dryer not so much) and the staff was friendly. I would recommend it for the value and proximity to public transportation.

We used this as a one night stay, close to our cruise departure. The rooms were small, but clean and for the price, a good bargain.
It was on a bus line from the airport, which was only 10 minutes away, and also about a 5 min walk to a bus stop to take a 5 min bus ride to the bus station at Piazza del Roma.
It had a great continental breakfast. There was internet available at 5 euros per hour on a computer in the lobby.
If you are looking for a room with a view, this is not the place, but if all you need is a quiet stop over on the way to someplace else then this is nice place.
The staff was pleasant and spoke English.

Very poor quality services

We stayed at this hotel for two days while visiting Venice.There are a couple of severe issues which made our stay here very unpleasant: - For the start, we have been announced that the room price we negotiated with [...] is not correct and in fact we need to pay more (30% more per night which). We were astonished but what could we do vis-a-vis to the receptionist's (a Chinese immigrant), "take it or leave it" attitude? He lied that he notified [...] which will contact us. At that moment I didn't know the truth but after arriving home, I checked with [...] and of course all this proved to be a lie. Moreover, the continental breakfast was supposed to be included in the price I negotiated with [...] initially. According to the same Chinese receptionist, this wasn't true anymore so we had to pay extra for this too. - The breakfast was also substandard and just to give an example, although we just asked for coffee, we have been served cold coffee, probably prepared long before our order for some other clients which didn't use it. - Another very unpleasant experience was due to room HVAC "defective" unit. We stayed at third floor (the last) and the hottest. We thought that the HVAC unit was defective but in reality, deliberately we haven't been given the remote control of the said device. Initially, we didn't know that this unit is operated via a remote control so we asked (the same Chinese receptionist) to have it fixed. Only then, after one sleepless night, we have been handed the remote which was kept at reception and not in the room so I can decide whether to use it or not.In our opinion, all these issues were well "engineered" this way so the hotel makes undeserved profit. Although we paid more, we received the worst hotel service we ever had around the world I traveled so far.If the hotel management's strategy is to use Chinese immigrants as receptionists so they can "fight" for maximum profit actually works, the same management appears not to realize that the bad reputation they built in this way will fall back on their business and drive it under, which I surely hope it will happen.At the end, after we realized this entire diabolic scenario, I told him that I will make a complaint at [...] and at Trip Adviser. He didn't appear to be surprised. I wonder why!

Le personnel de cet hôtel, idéalement placé à Mestre (il suffit de prendre le bus ligne 2 derrière l'hôtel pour être à Venise en 30 minutes), est très serviable et agréable. Chambres d'un confort et d'une propreté classiques. Petit déjeuner inclus très correct. La voiture peut être laissée au parking privé de l'hôtel pour 8 Euros par jour. Connexion Wi-Fi payante mais à prix raisonnable. Je recommande cet hôtel !
