If I point out some of small problems we faced,
- Wifi internet was a bit expensive
- Road was narrow and many cars parked there. It was quite dangerous to walk up to cable car for city centre
- Lunch buffet tastes excellent but too expensive (31 Euro per person)
- Walls/floors are so thin that you can easily hear someone is walking in the room above
Although having these problems, again, I would say we had a pleasant stay. Location was so nice (for private beach, restaurant), staffs were friendly and polite, and clean room with air conditioning.

Hotel does not have a lot of indoor public space and thus isn't ideal for wet or cold seasons (we stayed over Christmas/New Years week). Location is a bit remote and probably has stunning views, but again these aren't of much value in the rainy season. As a perk, however, the hotel does run a shuttle to the center of town

Great hotel in safe area, with beautiful view of water, excellent service, excellent food and relaxing pool area. Although it is located on the bottom of Taormina, and bus stop in out front and the train station is less than 500 meters away. Getting up to town is not difficult and out of the way of all the tourists and crowds. 20 minute walk to seaside village, Nexos, where you can shop for less euros than the center of Taormina.

We just got back from our trip to Sicily. We originally booked two nights at Hotel Corallo, but we extended after our first day, which included an incredibly restful dip in their sparkling pool. Our room was on the corner of the third floor, with a spectacular view of the sea, and a nice-sized corner deck that allowed shade all day. One side faced the sea; the other side faced the swimming pool, and behind that, an impressive cliff with lots of birds.
If you are driving, as we were, there is good parking, and it's easy to get to from the coastal route. Although it is not in Taormina proper, there are steps leading up the (steep) hill that put you right in the midst of the tourist town. This is a pretty hefty hike... you need good shoes, as some of the steps have washed out over time... with great views.
Although this hotel is not located right in the midst of the tourist area, the hotel is well connected with the local guides, etc. The bus for the trip to the Aeolian Islands stops half a block away to pick you up. And it's only a short drive into Giardini Naxus for some really good dining options, just across from the water.
We came with our three month old baby. Sicilians love babies!

Sehr schöne Aussicht auf den Aetna. Einmalige hoteleigene Strandbucht - erreichbar über den direkten Lift im Felsen. Frühstücksterrasse mit super Aussicht auf das Meer und Aetna. Gute Bedienung an der Bar und in den Restaurants.

The views from this hotel are amazing. From our room, breakfast, the pool and the beach it was spectacular.
The breakfast and breakfast staff are very good. Our room was nice but not as nice as it looked in the photos. The bed was very, very hard; as were the pillows. The pool and beach area are crowded and don't have enough chairs. We found that people reserve their chairs by bringing out their belongings as soon as the pool and beach open and then go back inside. The spots on the shuttle busses are also reserved so early in the morning that it is difficult to get seats. One night the corridors smelled like sewage. We never did find out what the smell was but it was gone in the morning. This is a beautiful place but not worth the price.

typical sicilian and international dishes. On half board, every day it's possible

The panoramic swimming pool is situated in a beautiful Mediterranean garden.
Parking area and safe-deposit boxes at the reception are free of charge.
The clients have free access to the beach of the sister hotel, Lido Mediterranée, equipped with
sunbeds and sunumbrellas. From 1st June until 1st October a minibus service to and from this
beach is available at an additional cost.
A professional staff is ready to meet the customer's requirements.
Transfer arrangement from and to Catania airport by private taxi at the rate of 80,00 Euros each
way, on request.

Stayed at the hotel recently. Location is excellent and the views fabulous. Room had a huge terrace overlooking the bay. Service excellent & staff helpful. The hotel is not new & decor slightly dated and bathrooms could do with revamping but adequate.

This is a huge vacation complex in panoramic location . The hotels boasts an outdoor swimming pool and entertainment throughout summer with day and night activities. This is an ideal place both for families and young couples . DC 07/08 This is the superior standard part of the Antares structure which has another part simply called Antares. It is a white, modern structure with many rooms having their own balconies, 'terrazze' hence the name. Situated in the hills above Taormina Mare in an immense parkland with stunning views overlooking the sea and the surrounding mountain areas.

Booking excellent especially Rita [M...], Reception excellent especially Daniella. Restaurant excellent especially Nuncio [C...] both in the Pool Restaurant as well as in the main Restaurant. Disappointed with reception on Sunday pm, who didn't know where I could get emergency medicine - In Letojanni there is a pharmacy with an emergency number which I found out for myself - Management very courteous and efficient especially the gentleman who was always there, unfortunately did not get his name. Rooms very well kept with very efficient housekeepers. We book Belleair from England. Will be very happy to recommend this hotel to anybody as well as to return ourselves for another stay

An excellent standard hotel which is split into two parts with 20% of rooms being in a dependence. This is a highly recommended hotel also boasting a large swimming pool.

Situated a few hundred metres from the very centre of town at the very foot of the ancient Greek theatre of Taormina, in a large rocky Garden full of tropical flowers and palm trees. There are stunning views of the sea & the surrounding mountain areas.

Character hotel in excellent location at the end of the main street running through Taormina. The pool is a stroll away through the private gardens and has privacy and lovely shade trees for those who would prefer not to roast! Highly recommended.

Pleasant and friendly hotel located a bit away from the city center of Taormina . Since the hotel is located in one of the highest point of Taormina , the views of the sea and of the Etna are breathtaking . DC 07/08 Low rise building in white colour , typical of the area . The hotel is situated on the way to Castelmola, half way up a mountain overlooking the marvelous bay of Giardini Naxos and the majesty of Etna. The north of the hotel instead offers a view along the border of the sea up to Messina. Only 100m away from the hotel lies the antique Castle of Taormina. The beach can be easily reached by bus.

The staff of the hotel was very helpful and the location is very good. The hotel was difficult to find because it is in an area with narrow curcy streets. The hotel has "offsite" parking which turned out to be surprisingly close. Breakfeast was an excellent buffet with many choices.

Description
This is a good property ideally located just meters away from the seaside. the hotel also offers a swimming-pool on the rooftop. DC 06/07 It is a white traditional building in keeping with the surrounding typical Sicilian properties. Located in Taormina Mare, in one of the most suggestive corners of the Bay of Mazzarò, is two minutes walking distance from the cable cars? departure station, that in three minutes links you to the historical centre of Taormina, and two minutes walking from Isola Bella.

Description
The touches of class & elegance throughout the hotel could be listed at great lenght, but suffice to say this is problably the best hotel in Sicily. DC 08/08 A historical stone monastery dating back to the 14th century. A Grandiose structure. Ideally situated in the heart of Taormina, on one side overlooking the meditteranean sea and inland towards Mount Etna.

Description
The hotel also features a magnificent garden with panoramic pool, a tea room and library - a shuttle service to the city center and the beach is availaible for the guests . DC 02/09 New modern complex opened May 2005, it is surrounded by hills and greenery. The hotel lies in a hill overlooking the sea and only a short walk away from the town centre of Taormina. Its position allows a beautiful view of the Isola Bella.

The Jr. Suite we had was just right for our family of 4. Had our own private veranda overlooking the ocean. Walking distance to city centre. And the breakfast buffet was immensely pleasurable.
