Location was perfect right nearby the #8 tram which takes you to the nearby hip eateries in Trastevere,and easily takes you into the heart of the historical center of Rome, where you can catch any bus to other locations. Great breakfast and beautiful hotel.

Overall, this is a great hotel. Advertised on Orbitz as a three-star hotel it is actually a four-star one. Quiet and very clean, with great, helpful stuff (who helped me book a trip to Assisi from Rome). It's about a ten-minute walk from the heart of Trastevere, and about 20 minutes by bus and tram from Termini. There are hotels with better location in Rome--so if you have only a couple of days in the city and haven't seen the main attractions this is not necessarily the best option. On the other hand, hotels at the heart of the city are often very noisy. Finally, considering what you get here, it's also on the less expensive side.

Residenza Belli Inn is set on a quiet street in the centre of Trastevere, close to restaurants and bars and offering excellent transport links across Rome city centre. Stroll a few metres down the pretty mediaeval streets which surround Residenza Belli to reach tram and bus stops. A pleasant walk upriver will take you to the Vatican, or you can cross over the bridge and be in the historic centre in 15 minutes. Notre séjour ,début novembre, à l'hotel Donna Camilla fut excellent,
Bon emplacement, loin de la foule du centre ville,beaucoup de charme, personnel de l'hotel
charmant, seul bémol, notre chambre située dans un coin de l'hotel était vraiment petite au niveau de la circulation autour du lit, et nous manquions d'espace pour bouger ou se reposer, or le lit

Gorgeous building, with great grounds and a very attentive staff. The breakfast was much better than you would normally get for the price of the hotel. Our room's decor was a bit tacky though, which is strange given how nice the rest of the hotel is.
The Trastevere neighborhood is great for food, drinks and meandering. Try the oddly-named "Bar Good" right down the street for a drink and excellent people watching. Walk across Ponte Sisto for another fun late-night neighborhood.

Ripa Hotel is idealy located in the Trastevere. You are a short tram ride or walk to the centre of ancient Rome. Trastevere itself is a vibrant and active area with great restaurants cafes and bars.Prices are great compared to the other side of the Tiber in the more tourist area. Restaurants cater to the locals as well as the tourists. We were never over charged, prices were great and the food spectacular from most of the eateries in the area. There is a full supermarket two minutes from the Hotel.
The hotel itself was great. Staff are very helpful. They speak every language of Europe. The rooms are large, comfortable, well appointed and very clean. This was our fourth visit to Rome and our second stay at the Ripa Hotel. Breakfast at the Hotel is exceptional and of high quality.
We will definitely be back for the hotel and the area.

l'hotel est tres mal chauffé et il faisait super froid
les chambres sont sympas mais les salle de bains sont d'un autre temps, elle meriteraient d'etre totalement rénovées.
sinon l'hotel est proche de trastevere et est sinon assez sympa.
