camping près du centre de Rome, près du Vatican, sur un grand axe la via Aurélia, en période de Noel, très calme, très agréable d'être dans un grand terrain arboré alors qu'on est en ville, parking sans problème à l'intérieur, bungalow simple propre avec tout ce qu'il faut, douche, wc, chauffage, clim, petit déjeuner pas cher et complet salé sucré buffet à volonté, un bon point de chute simple et pas cher pour visiter Rome

This camping village offers something for everybody; I stayed two nights in a bungalow and one night in a chalet. The 4-person bungalow was small but very "practical". It had one double bed and one bunk bed. Nice bathroom, decent beds, cold A/C, and felt safe (locking cabinets/doors). Already a great value for the price.
The chalet, was even better. It has a full suite with king bed and a second suite with one double bed and one bunk bed, can sleep up to six people! In addition, it also has a fully equipped kitchen and both an indoor and outdoor "dining area". For the value, it just doesn't get any better... you'd probably pay hundreds more for a room with this many amenities elsewhere. The camping village itself has many other great things, such as the market, restaurant, and nightclub.

The room and service was good but the:
a. hotel is 20-30 minutes taxi ride ($20+ Euros) to the center of Rome. Although only a short walk to the train/metro station (1.2 Euro).
b. the restaurant was expensive and not worth it, although the breakfast was OK.

The hotel staff and room were very nice. Gave us the American hospitality and feel away from home. However, the location was much futrther then we thought it would be. The picture overlooking the vatican was VERY misleading (quotes from other couples we spoke to). You can not walk to the vatican and in fact you have to take either the metro, shuttle, or cab. Food is less then desirable as well. If you can overlook the location, not a bad hotel.

Chambre très correcte pour le prix (environ 60€/nuitée), la clim fonctionnelle et indispensable vu la température sous les toits en août, la salle de bain était propre. Seul reproche si vous restez plusieurs jours d'affilés dans cet hôtel: la douche étriquée (si vous êtes obèse, il y a un risque de rester bloqué dedans...), la télé antédiluvienne (bon, on est pas là pour regarder la TV mais quand même) et piscine manquante (rappel: c'est un 4 étoiles excentré). Pour l'accès à l'hôtel depuis la gare Termini, empruntez le métro ligne A, arrêt Cornelia.
Personnel de l'hotel accueillant, rien à redire là dessus.
Petit-déjeuners illimités mais basiques.
Pour comparer à un hôtel français, je dirais que Pinewood équivaut à un bon 2 étoiles.

I stayed there because I had a 27 hour layover. Hotel was nice and clean. Downside was that it was more like a 15 minute walk from the metro stop to the hotel than the 5 minute walk the website promised. Also, upon early arrival at 10 am the male receptionist was rather rude and unfriendly when I asked for an early check-in. He insisted there was no early check in. When I asked why not and if the hotel was full, at first he said he was too busy checking people out to help me (although the lobby was empty and remained empty for the next 20 minutes); when I asked if the hotel was full he then said yes. When I said I would just wait in the lobby for a room because I was tired from my recent travels (instead of travel into Rome as he suggested), he did allow me to watch the lobby TV and within half an hour or so, he managed to find a room. Like I said, the room was nice, clean and large enough. Only real downside was the rather rude arrival greeting and the distance from the metro.

Nous étions un peu déçu - le standard correspond plus à un hôtel *** qu'à un hôtel ****. En plus, nous l'avions choisi pour la piscine intérieure mais elle était fermée. Il faisait très chaud dans la chambre (entre 26° et 30°) sachant que le chauffage était toujours éteint (c'était début mars). La chambre était très propre et la salle de bains confortable et moderne. Sachez qu'il faut compter au moins 45 min pour rejoindre le centre-ville avec les transports publics (bus+métro).

2인실인데.. 사진과 달리 방이 너무 작았습니다. 2명이 움직이기에 너무 좁았구요. 반면, 화장실은 넓고 깨끗했습니다. 4일 있었는데.. 3일동안 저녁마다 전원이 나가서.. 매번 프론트에 신고해야 했습니다. 그 외에는 직원들이 매우 친절했고 좋았습니다. 위치는 좀 불편하더라구요. 골목에 있어서 찾기가 좀 어려워서 가까운 거리임에도 택시로 이동해야 했습니다.

Nice staff, esp breakfest brunette waitress. Hotel rooms not soundproof, breakfest nice, except for eggs. Easygoing staff, location not best need at least 2 buses to make it there or bus and metro combo. But bus service pretty regular, actually ok. train is option if you are going to suburbs of rome. Internet is a ripoff...

Clarhotel is four star Hotel located in a beautiful park behind Villa Carpegna few minutes away from the Vatican City and well connected with public means of transport. The hotel offers a complete choice of modern facilities including a fine restaurant, chapel, several lounges and cocktail bar. The structure is surrounded by a green park.
All rooms, furnished with elegance, are equipped with air conditioning, TV set, telephone, safe, mini-bar and some of them with Jacuzzi hydro-massage tubs. Some rooms are especially equipped for disabled and wheelchair access. Clarhotel offers also different meeting and conference rooms equipped with all technical facilities. This is an ideal place to stay both for business and for tourist wishing to visit the Eternal City.

Good Location but Wi-fi Wasn't Working

Overall very good location, clean and spacious rooms but wi-fi wasn't working and mini-bar was empty.
Firstly, the hotel is very big and set in a secluded location. As another reviewer mentioned it seems to specialise in coach tours. The gate is locked at a certain time so if you come back either late at night or early in the morning you may have to call the intercom so that the staff can open the gate for you.
The hotel is situated about 15 minutes walk from Cornelia metro station just off a busy main road - this to me is the hotel's biggest selling point. There is a nice Chinese restaurant about a three minute walk back towards the main road. A word of warning; the footpaths are very narrow (just enough width for one person) so if you are carrying a lot of luggage walking can be tricky.
Rooms are spacious and very clean. However the place is a bit sparse. There was no information pack in the room and the mini-bar was empty!
The hotel description claims internet access and indeed I picked up the hotel wireless network on my laptop, mind you this was only available in the lobby and there was no signal in my room. Perhaps this is because my room was on the 4th floor? However the wireless network wouldn't work so when I asked the staff they told me that the wi-fi wasn't working. This is where the hotel drops a rating for me. Internet access is also offered via a couple of communal PCs to one side of reception but these seemed to suffer from the same broken connection. I was left to plan my holiday in Rome using a free map I got at the airport!
There was a decent buffet breakfast available in the restaurant which included cereal, juice, yoghurt, fruit, ham, cheese, bread, tea and coffee and cake! The staff member on duty at breakfast was friendly. One word of warning; the day I left I went to breakfast early, around 7am, and there was a massive queue. The restaurant also serves other meals but I only ever had breakfast there so I can't comment any further.

The hotel is very nice and located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. The staff were very helpful and the room was spacious, clean and very pleasing. The hotel is located about 600 meters from the Metro (subway train) which is ideal for going anywhere. You can take a bus to the Metro or walk like we did. I was very pleased with the hotel and the staff. This was my second time in Rome and the last hotel I stayed in, the rooms were very small although nice. The rooms at the Clarhotel were great.

The Aureliano is a brand-new 4 star hotel, located in Via Aurelia. It is easy to reach from Rome's "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport and it is near the "A" line metro, a few minutes from the city center. The other amenities of the hotels are Bar, doctor on call, laundry service, lift / elevator, lobby, reception, safe deposit box, 8 Rooms with parquet for allergic people.

The staff was extremely helpful and elegant, and the breakfast was generous. I recommend this place very highly, but take a room away from the elevator. That makes a bit too much noise.
