This is amongst the most beautiful spa resort in Italy!

D.O 05.2008 This is an antique villa once loved by the Etruscan and the ancient Romans, it became famous for the nobility all over Europe in 1743, when the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Francesco Stefano of Lorena, made it his own summer spa residence, as well as a fashionable meeting place which had among its other important guests well-known people such as Gustav of Sweden, George IV of England, Vittorio Alfieri, Percy B. and Mary Shelley, Ibrahim Pascià, The Cardinal of York and Carlo Goldoni. This amazing villa is located in San Giuliano Terme on the Abetone State Road SS 12 which connects Pisa (6 km away) to Lucca (12 km away): two cities of great historical and artistic interest and already international tourist attraction poles, just like Florence which is only 78 km away. The spa resort is also very close to the Pisa Airport, 10 Km.

In spite of the hotel's address, this property is NOT located in Pisa which is a $20 cab ride away. Fantastic resort but not the place to stay if you want to be in walking distance to the Pisa Duomo.

Description
This a very good property with lots of additional services: 1 private swimming pool (for the hotel guests only) one Olympic swimming pool, one deep swimming pool, training golf course, shopping area and 3 calcetto grounds. An ideal place to relax, to practise sports or to explore the surrounding wonderful areas. 0409 SR This is a typical Italian borgo with the main country villa and other smaller buildings around that used to host the old hayloft and the stables. The atmosphere is very relaxing, especially in the rooms located outside the main building where our clients are accommodated. 20 kms from Pisa this wonderful borgo is located in the countryside, on the way to Florence that is only 70 kms away. At the same time this property is not far from the Tirreno sea, only 35 kms.
