simply excellent.very clean and large room.the staff was very helpful and instructed us perfectly.the breakfast was one of the best i had ever had.the only downside is the distance to the nearest metro station but it really is of no real significance

I need to bring to your attention that when my husband and I went to check out they wanted to charge us again. They stated they never take advance payment. We should them out itinerary and that our bank out was already charged. They took a copy of everything and said they were still going to charge us again. You need to look into this for us. They also were going to give us a different rate than you did. For six night they were going to only charge 479 euro, this is less than we paid in US. This also needs to be looked at, we should receive the discounted rate in our package. Thanking you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter.

Nous avons apprécié la chambre confortable, la rapidité des ascenseurs, le petit déjeuner copieux.
La formule du bar est vraiment sympas avec ces cocktails et son buffet à volonté. L'hôtel est situé à côté d'une rue très marchande. Pour aller au centre ville, il vaut mieux utiliser le métro.

Okay for business and fairly well placed for walking into the centre (c. 20 minutes). Room was okay but facilities basic - carpet not that clean.
Prices in restaurant quite ridiculous but great patisserie opposite the hotel or Accor Hotel does basic breakfasts too at a reasonable price. Cocktails with Apertivo can work out well price wise and cocktails are very good! Business facilities quite basic.

Nice hotel with OK price and a fitness center (hard to find in Milan). Very small bathroom, and the drain didn't work properly. Nice breakfast. We expected free wifi in the rooms/lobby, but you had to pay for it.

Had 2 days after a business trip to Siena in July to see Milan and stayed at Hotel Sanpi sight unseen. What a lovely surprise! Located off major business streets (but close to trolley lines), in a neighborhood of mixed shops and apartments, but not scary to walk in on a summer night. Decent restaurants close by. Shortish walk to Duomo (15 min.) and central city. Air conditioning worked terrifically on a very HOT week, even for Italy. Small, very well-appointed rooms (but no clock), really comfortable beds, extra pillows w/o asking. If I were travelling alone, I might not stay there, because it is not in a generic touristy area, yet that is part of its charm. Convenient to train station by taxi. No view; close to a major park. We really loved the staff, who were well-trained and 100 percent friendly and professional. The breakfast was ordinary; coffee could use some improvement, and had to be brought one cup at a time. Get some pots for those of us who need more than a cup to get started! Would have appreciated in-room coffee, but many European hotels have yet to provide that. The staff v. helpful getting us off on our crack-of-dawn flight, and sent a breakfast bag along with us-- that was a nice gesture, and much appreciated. Internet was, as usual, v. expensive. Wish free wi-fi were possible. The hotel was just great, and I'd give them close to A+! Restful, lovely private courtyard for a late-night drink. I might not bring children (altho' there were several there), as it feels swanky and adult--which makes it perfect in my book. Don't know about the nitelife aspect of Milan--we were too tired sightseeing to need anything beyond dinner and bed. Felt like an excellent value for the price I paid. I had been staying in 4 star hotels for the entire trip, and this hotel really deserves its stars. Thanks, Hotel Sanpi, for a great end to my month-long trip!

This hotel was easy to find, very close to train and metro stations. Perfect for what we wanted. Not too expensive and good value for money. Breakfast was hearty but we did not try the evening meals. There was a cheap and cheerful cafe nearby or we ate whilst sightseeing, using the hotel as a base. The staff were the most welcoming, helpful and friendly people and seemed to really enjoy their jobs, which is infectious to visitors. We booked it after reading reviews and they were spot on. Thank you for a very enjoyable visit. Definitely recommended.

The hotel was very easy to find if you know how to use the Metro. It was about 5blocks from where the metro stop was. We really liked the breakfast , the breakfast staff was so accomondating. The price was very reasonable for this hotel. We also had to get a rollaway bed , which they brought in very quickly, but the slats broke in the middle of the night, we could of got it changed but we were leaving that morning. The hotel was clean and comfortable, except for the shower curtain, it had a musky, sour smell, like it never dried out enough. That would be something to let hotel know about, next time, but we were there for a short time, and kept on forgetting to let them know. All in all we would stay there again, we liked it.

Very personable staff. Great location ! Lovely rooms that were well decorated and extremely modern bathroom. Great value for downtown area.rooms were very confortable and clean.Amenities were abundant in the rooms and a great breakfast each morning was delicious.Did lack a fitness room though.

Great layover hotel next to Milan Malpensa

Needed a hotel close to Malpensa for an early flight out. Booked the Sheraton Malpensa and was pleased with the location and standard of the hotel was high. Staff was also accomodating as we had children and needed space. Hotel had very good amenities and well furnished.

The Scottish filet was fabulous, the bed supremely comfortable, and the internet for a price, worked. But to be fair, after a nice but overpriced hotel with no internet connectivity, and nutella & crackers for dinner in Verona the night before my judgement may be a bit skewed. Actually, the FREE internet did not work at any McDonald's in Italy (no problems in France though) there were difficulties at Verona Fiere Convention Center as well. Also, the 5 am wake-up call that never came for me (My daughter did receive her 9 am call)
and check-in was a little slow with 2 staff and too many customers.

交通很方便,就在Milano Centrale站隔一條街(約5分鐘),房間大小尚可,乾淨,但設備偏舊,而且房內插座只有一個(是插著電冰箱的插頭,要拔下來才能用,另一個在廁所><),有免費wifi可用(但i phone不能用,只能用電腦),考量價格和方便性,應是會再光顧的飯店!

The room was excellent - roomy, with a very comfortable bed. The staff was very courteous,the location for me is excellent, and I will definitely stay there again. (as long as the prices don't do up - Italian hotels are very expensive and this is no exception, but better than others that I have tried)

I stayed at the hotel as it was convenient to walk to the San Siro for a football match. It was a 15 minute walk, the stadium easy to find. The hotel is rather shabby and pokey and in need of renovation. It offered very basic accommodation a very small room small bed and tiny bathroom. The staff were friendly and accommodating

It is steps away of the train station CENTRALE and Metro undergraund.
You never hear a train sound, confortable ( european standart) using the super simple Metro system of Milan you can be in the Duomo or Castello in minutes, but you are not walking away, which for me is good since you are away from crowds, but close to place to move.
In the i formation of the hotel they should say that is walking distance of the station, since as I didnt know, I was almost ady fr taking a cab, thta for sure they would took me and charge me ....
On the other hand is big enough, si important in Europe, small ones can be cute and friendly but if you choose the wrong one those can be a nightmare

Hotel Michelangelo really delivers on amenities and convenience. Location is right across from Centrale station; easy to get anywhere quickly. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Room was very spacious (though I am not sure if my room was standard). Of course no in-room coffee or irons in Italy, but huge closets (yes, plural) with many drawers and shelves, big desk and work area, refrigerator with free soft drinks and water, safe, very nice walnut furniture and panelling (a little 80s looking, but was good stuff), electric drapes, scale, whirlpool tub, double sink, stool, clothes presser, Starnet TV but older television; not a great picture on many stations. Double built-in suitcase rack. Internet works well.
Hotel is showing its age, though more from a decor and architecture standpoint; it is maintained fairly well but with a few worn spots. Breakfast was quite good.

Hotel is just what we wanted for our first stay in Milan. It's quite close to all infrastructure thay you may need like central station, shopping streets and night life. Hotel itself is great for rooms, food and helpful personnel of course. I never stay in one hotel more than one time but I'll definitely recommend it for newcomers!

Fabulous Hotel and so close to everything - especially the station as we were traveling on a Eurail Pass. The room was big enough in a very quiet street. The bathroom was also good except for the shower recess - why are they all so small in Europe? The breakfast was exceptional. The staff were ever so helpful and friendly. If ever in Milan, will stay here again.

Overall, it was okay. There was no pool and the charges for internet, breakfast, business services were high. The front desk made a mistake during check out process that likely cost my ability to access air miles for the stay.

Comfortable pre-MXP flight option

We took advantage of the free shuttle to Milan Malpensa Airport. The hotel's proximity to the airport was a major draw. It allowed us to sleep a little later in a comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed room before embarking on the long flight home. Dining was okay but not fabulous.

Close to the airport. Better get gas before you get here. Plenty of free parking. The bathroom is a little inconvienent because it faces the bed and has transparent doors so if you get up in the middle of the night you'll likely wake up your partner.

This hotel is extremely convenient to the Linate Airport, and is located on a trolly line that can take you directly to the center of Milan. The hotel was clean and more than adequate for our stay.

It was a very great experience, very close to the airport and very easy to get to downtown milan without any problems. Only thing i wish the shuttle would run earlier secondary to having take a cab and the hotel was a mile away and it cost us 19.00 euros. To expensive.

The Grand Puccini Hotel had a comfortable and clean bedroom and bathroom. It had good air conditioning and TV. The staff was accommodating and helpful with advice on places to eat and how to tour the city using the very good, clean and air-conditioned Metro system. We only had a view of the tile roof from our room, but considering the fantastic price, we didn't care. It's also only a few yards to the Metro station and on a very wide and lovely boulevard.

Excellent location, with a metro stop 50 metres down the road. The hotel is clean and hotel staff friendly and helpful with good English spoken.
The bathroom did have an unpleasant odour to it.
Breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Well priced, central hotel. 20 minutes walk to Duoma or tram at front door (1 euro). Breakfast fine. Parking at cost, but some street avaliablity.

There is an Castle, about 20 minutes WD, in the big park. There is a bus stop in front of Hotel and it's easy to go to the city center.

i was there for work.
the hotel had a great look to it but after arriving everything went down hill
the shower was dirty still, and a nasty bandaid was left in it
the bed was hard as a rock. pillows were paper thin. my key to my room stopped working every third of forth entry into my room. i was just miserable there.
for a 4 star hotel i would never stay again nor recommend it.
i was in the middle of no where.
i got in late when i checked in and was starving, i went to order room service at 11:30pm and they told me the kitchen was closed. UUUMMM the menu says 12! i asked them where i could get food and they had no idea. i ended up finding a pizzaria around the corner.
it did have a nice outdoor market outside on tuesdays though, and the breakfast buffet was better than most. but i will never be back
