This hotel has a convenient location to the airport. It was reasonably priced and a good value. The staff was very friendly. We used the concierge desk to schedule a car to Ostia Antica and they were a big help. The restaurant was average.

Great Location

As others have said, it's perfect for one night before or after a flight. It is exactly 2 minutes from the FCO terminal. It's fairly clean and there is plenty to do and eat within 1 block walk. We dropped off the rental car the night before and paid for the shuttle in the morning for our flight. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

It was a good place to stop overnight for a quick trip back to the airport. The room was clean and relatively quiet. Know that no matter what the meter says, a cab will cost you at least 15 euro for a 2 minute ride from the airport. Reserve the shuttle if you can to save at least a few bucks.

Nice clean small hotel, modern with very comfortable bed, good amenities and an above average breakfast. Claudio and Claudia were very helpful in helping me with an airline problem. I recommend this hotel.
Like a lot of places in Italy it was a little difficult to find the address with poor signage, but worthwhile once we arrived.

The BEST WESTERN Hotel Riviera is a three star hotel recently renovated and located only five kilometers from Rome Fiumicino Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport and the Fiumicino only a few meters from the sea. Our hotel is also approximately 10 kilometers away from the New Fair of Rome and the big shopping centre Parco Leonardo and Da Vinci where you can enjoy shopping in more than two hundred shops of all kinds. A shuttle bus service on charge, on request, is available seven days a week to and from the airport, Rome centre, two shopping centers and Ostia Antica where guests can visit the interesting Roman ruins.
Among the other facilities offered to our guests are a free Internet access and free bikes available for pleasant rides along the seafront. Shuttle Cost Adds Up

The Hotel is what you would expect from a Best Western -- neat, clean, continental breakfast. However, it was a surprise to us that we had to pay 6 Euro to get picked up from the airport, and 6 more to go back. We had planned to go into Rome for the evening, but the cost of going back and forth to the airport and then taking the train was just too much. If you have an overnight layover, probably best to just stay somewhere in the city.

The hotel was conveniently located 10~15min drive from FCO. The shuttle costs 7 euros each way. You do not need RSVP from airport to hotel, but do need one from hotel to airport.
For an overnight stay to catch your morning flight at FCO, this is a clean, comfortable hotel with friendly staff.

The hotel is very close to the airport and there is a shuttle available during reasonable times. The location is perfect if you have an early flight. There are a descent amount of restaurants within walking distance. There aren't many options for shopping or souvenir purchases in the area. The floors are tile so be prepared to hear noise from rooms above you. the shower is small so for a tall or large person it could be uncomfortable. The front desk staff is very helpful in providing you with any information you may need.

Very pricey for the tiny rooms offered. Hidden from autoway by Mach 2 Hotel, which has a restaurant and apparently is run by the same people. The food in the restaurant was passable, and the breakfast was free, but the shuttle to the airport cost 3 euros per person.

The shower drain was very slow. The shower doors allowed water on the floor. The shower was very small. The electrical outlet in the bathroom was loose and did not work. No coffee was available until 7am,(after we had to leave for the airport). I thougt what we paid for the room was not worth it.

Good Alternative at Rome Airport

I booked this hotel on-line hoping that the mixed reviews wouldn't lead me to a place with minimal amenities. In fact, things worked out well. The location is great...about 12 minutes from the airport and right across the street from the beach. The hotel isn't particularly luxurious, but it is modern, clean, and well appointed. The desk staff was very helpful and even gave me a room with an extra bed at no extra charge when I mentioned that my adult son might be joining us. The breakfast was not elaborate--mostly breads and cereals--but there were some cold cuts and cheeses. Free street parking was plentiful during the October day I arrived, but it filled up fast in the evening when all the restaurants opened for dinner. It might also be tight when the beach is in full swing. All-in-all, I'd stay here again, as it's a hassle free way to ensure that you catch your morning flight out of Fiumicino airport.

We needed to fly out of Rome early and needed a room. I payed a little more for this hotel than I wanted but because of the free pick up and drop at the airport it works out about the same as other hotels without it.
Great rooms, great food and great location to airport.
