Description
Hotel Semifonte enjoys a wonderful location in the heart of the beautiful Chianti region. It is strategically placed between Florence and Siena and just 9 km from the pleasant village of San Gimignano - and with the rolling hills of Chianti and Tuscany all around it is an ideal base for exploring the many delights of the region. The hotel offers 48 elegant and classically furnished rooms which reflect Tuscan artisan tradition in their use of natural fabrics and oak floors. The Hotel is a modern property-salmon coloured-with a large and bright hall and reception with a panoramic elevator which goes to the upper floor. A cosy bar and a large restaurant opened for breakfast and dinner-with view on the outdoor swimming pool. Internet point and Wi-Fi connection available on complimentary basis.

was not able to figure out how to make AC function. Staff seemed helpful but too tired to call them and only stayed one night. Otherwise could not ask for more. Hotel actually is at the margin of town of Poggibonsi so print out map prior to going.
