Its Good Its actually a great spot

From the time we walked into hotel We were made so welcome
We booked 2 family rooms 3 double beds and single in each one
They were spotless And very comfortable beds
We stayed mid week for 3 nights had breakfast and evening meal included in deal
Brillant value
We had our evening meal in the WHITE OAK RESTURANT EACH EVENING
It was very nice
each night there were wonderful entertainment in different areas of hotel
We enjoyed a good sing song in OFaoileans bar in hotel
This is the most amazing feature Its a restored church
That was purchased in Wales and rebuilt in hotel Its 3 or 4 storeys high (Seems to go on for ever )
While we were there they had a few hen parties and lots of students were out celebrateing exams results
Staff were very friendly and helpful
After a few days we were on first name terms with each other
It is only 6 minutes walking distance from train and bus station
And again a big plus we were minutes from massive shoping centre

As soon as we walked in the reception area we were made very welcome by the receptionist and the owners
The rooms were very nice with 3 bed (family rooms we booked)
We had a choice of restaurents We choosed The WHITE OAK RESTAURENT THE FIRST NIGHT OF OUR VISIT
Very good indeed At this time we had just returned from a brillant shopping centre only 4 minutes away
We were pleasently entertained to a very lively KARAKOKE SESSION LATER ON IN THE EVENING
Where we were spotted the local talent
And joined in the sing song
Later we took off to The Kilford ARMS NEW Night Club (Pegasus) IT means a flying horse ) And i can tell you they were many fine flying horses on the dance floor
On our second night we went to OFaoileans bar (still in the kilford )
this was amazing its like another world
you are ina very large 3 or 4 storey high Church
That had been purchased from wales and rebuilt in the centre of hotel
" Brillant stuff "
By the time we left the hotel we were all on first name terms with staff
They seem to be brothers sisters nephews nieces Aunts or uncles

The hotel offers excellent leisure facilities and has complimentary parking available in the adjacent car park for guests. (07/08 rt) The exterior is modern featuring large areas of glass. Situated in the heart of Kilkenny town just off of the High street, the hotel is ideally located very close to Kilkenny Castle.

Stayed there for 3 nights. All staff very friendly and helpful , couldn't have done any more for us. Food was first class. Rooms nice and clean and spacious. Hotel is in a great location in the center of the town. Would highly recommend

Aspect Hotel is situated just 1.6km from the medieval city of Kilkenny.Conveniently located just off the city ring road, the vibrant city centre is just a short walk away.
If you'd prefer to go by taxi, we have negotiated reduced Kilkenny taxi tariffs to whisk you in and out of town.

Room was beside the lift so very noisey. Sink was broken. TV wasn't working. Overall very disappointed in this hotel.

I thought the hotel was beautiful, great color choices in lobby and the hotel room was really very nice. They had a great breakfast selection also. The only issue that we had was that the WiFi was down and the hotel computer was broken with no ETA of when it was going to come back up. As we are traveling day by day [...] to book hotels every night this was inconvient but overall very nice stay. The staff were also very nice.

We have been to the Lyrath a number of times and its my favourite hotel for relaxing -Staff are friendly and professional and its always nice and quiet even with a larger than usual no of children staying there this time (easter hols) The Food was excellent in bar and at breakfast but I was disappointed that Yindees wasnt open as thats my favourite place to dine. My 4 year old was disappointed to fing the walled garden closed off and she not able to utilise the climbing equipment and slide.The bikes available are great though. I would suggest it be good move to provide a play zone even at rear of property. only thing excessive are prices of movie hire on bedroom TV's. Otherwise its a great spot to visit.

Le téléphone de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas et ne nous a pas permis de recevoir une communication importante! La réception a répondu que nous n'étions pas dans la chambre!
