Overall, very nice hotel. Staff was extremely helpful with maps and giving us tips for using buses to get into Dublin proper. (bus stop within 1 block) Also, had a Walmart type store within 1 block for those items you forgot to pack. Free transport to and from airport and our driver went above and beyond to show me where exactly in the airport I had to pay for tolls on the M50 ring road. Good food, comfortable bed, and staff that went the extra mile. I would definitly stay here again on another trip to Ireland.

The only complaint I have is the coutesy shuttle information on my arrival at Dublin Airport was not correct. I was told to wait at a specific stand and after waiting for almost an hour, I gave up and got a taxi. It cost me 10 Euros to get to the hotel but it was worth it instead of standing in the cold and rain! The shuttle leaving the hotel to the airport was on time and the driver was friendly and helpful.

No hassle, no fuss. Front reception was able to get us a map and directions to downtown Dublin on a one day lay-over to Dublin. The WiFi was a bit slow in the room, but everything else worked out fine. Rooms were clean and modern feeling, with no major issues. :)

Clarion: adequate but overrated

Great receptionists. Very helpful and friendly.
Service at the bar was very slow. I waited 38 minutes for an order of chicken wings!
Corridors are very low and dark. I hit my head on the exit signs. My room was not very clean. Carpet had many stains. Curtains were not hanging correctly. Light bulbs were missing from light fixtures.
Very mediocre hotel and definitively not a four-star hotel!

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into my room. It was spacious, comfortable and well decorated. The staff was average and location was close to the airport but far from the city centre. The bus is easy to get to and takes you right to the heart of Dublin. My only complaint would be that the food prices were very high and there is not a less expensive option in close proximity. There is a nice park across the street with a walking/biking path. The business center offers computer access for under 1 euro making it easy to check email and stay connected with friends and family. All in all it was a nice hotel and a pleasant experience.

Bus to downtown was right near the entrance road. The hotel was really nice - we were not expecting it to be so nice considering the great deal we got. The only negative was no pool for the kids but it certainly isn't a deal breaker!

The hotel is located about 5 minutes from the airport with shuttle service 24/7. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were quiet and comfortable.

Nice hotel, very close to airport, rooms well appointed and large. The only disappointment was the exercise facility, which is a shared, very dated swim club with a weight room that looks like it hasn't been updated since 1955.

Built in 2006, The Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport is a beautiful and stylishly designed hotel located just beside the airport runways and only 800 meters from the airport entrance. The dedicated conference centre boasts facilities catering for 1 to 450 delegates with state of the art equipment and services. The property also has 17 Executive Boardrooms catering for up to 8 persons and these can be hired on an hourly basis.

The hotel was conveniently located both to the airport and to our car rental drop-off. We arrived early and the staff was very accomidating and found us a room quickly. The restaurant and bar were not as cozy as I would have like an Irish bar to be - they could stand to upgrade this to give the traveller a fine Irish send off. It was sort of sterile and right in the middle of other function rooms. Hard to tell where the restaurant began and the bar left off. But the facility was immaculate and all the nessecary en suite items were there.

I stayed overnight between fights, arriving the night before and flying out the next day. Only wish I could have stayed there longer. The staff was cordial and helpful, the food good, the bed extremely comfy, and the room ambience and amenities were just great.

Perfect for one night stay. shuttle to the airport is 2 euros each way.Front desk staff was very helpful.Room was clean and bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.

Cheap and cheerfull just about covers it- the staff were all friendly and helpfull, room small but clean and warm if showing a few signs of ware and tear. Location good for the airport, not good for city centre but for a low price it was fine for one night. Breakfast an extra for 10 Euro was ok if basic. Not somewhere of an extended stay, just a stopover.

Great place near the airport without the noise.

This Hotel was Pleasant and business like. Comfortable and well appointed. The airport shuttle was good, however some walking distance from the terminal. The restaurant "Brasserie" is highly recommended whose service could not have been more speedy.

Personnel was courteous and helpful. A few more towels would not have hurt.
The onsite Brasserie is actually a great restaurant.
