Asian Sheraton hotel near the airport; easy to get a cab to downtown. A must see is the Pasar Beringharjo where the regular folk shop. Be prepared to accept that your name is Misterrr.As far as the hotel was concerned, everything went just as I expected. Why shouldn't it be? We're talking [...], right?Hotel laundry was terribly pricey, but we did not have our sunday best with us so we took it a couple blocks down the road and had it done by a laundry that was located within a mosque compound. Embarrasingly cheap, it almost felt like we were using slave labor.Change money at the bank Mandiri; seems to be less bureaucratic than the others.

Description
Brongto Hotel is one of the three-star hotels in Yogyakarta. Unlike other hotels, Brongto hotel was a mansion of a nobleman that is well maintained up to now. This is a very unique fact and almost no other such a mansion, even in Indonesia. Brongto hotel was built on a land of around 2 hectares that is located in the south part of Sultan Palace. In the past, this area was the dwelling place for the noblemen of Yogyakarta Kingdom so that the Javanese nuance is still prominent. The architecture of Brongto hotel is keeping the origin, namely an old mansion of Brongtodiningratan nobleman. The shape of huge regol or gate that is painted green as the characteristic of Yogyakarta Kingdom is kept original. Most of the rooms are in the form of bungalows with private terrace and beautiful garden. Each room is equipped with furniture and lamps with the characteristics of Jogja. All these originality makes Brongto hotel so special that many foreign tourists from Europe, especially Germany and Netherlands enjoy staying here.

Me and my wife stayed in Santika for 3 nights, and we just loved it. The bedroom was clean, a bit old but clean. The bath tub looked very old, no exhaust fan so it became misty after a hot shower.
The good thing about this hotel is the location. It is very convenient to travel around as there were some taxis stood by the hotel gate. And also Santika has its own becak fleet with price list. So no need to bargain. And the airport transfer is surprisingly cheap!
But the best is the service! Every staff I met was very helpful and friendly, and they tried to accomodate your special request.

rather disappointing; facilities are OK, but rather old; internet charge is too much for bad connection; swimming pool is not good for swimming, more playing for kids. Only travel agency is helpful.

I stay at The Executive room, This Room is bigger then either, I like the interior , Looks new!!, With LCD 42" I could watch the high resolution for 54 channel TV. The king bed so comfort and the mattress is cool like in my apartment. Please this is the best hotel I stay in Indonesia special Yogyakarta city. Recommended hotel.. please try!

The room was great though we added a third bed for our son's wife. The breakfast was a real surprise: lots of variety for almost all tastes. Food items were well labeled. Omlett maker, waffle maker, coffee maker and more to serve up the freshest breakfast. Coffee was warm but I like mine hot which I could get from the waiter if I wanted to. The dinner menu offerred a wide selection, included pizzas. All reasonably priced. In the evening there were musicians serving up fine music.

Es un Novotel, por lo que la calidad se puede anticipar. Sin embrago, el servicio de la recepción y las instalaciones deportivas y sauna deja muchísimo que desear, así como el desayuno, que fue el peor de todo este viaje por el Sudeste de Asia. Nuevamente, para ser francés y dadas las exigencias culinarias de los franceses, la cocina es francamente deplorable, tanto los platillos occidentales, como los orientales. Las habitaciones están muy bien y el precio fue excelente.

That was my first time in Ibis Jogyakarta, and even if it's just for transit en route from East Java back to Jakarta, it was a pleasant stay.
Breakfast was plenty of choice, taste excellent, and location is very good.
Disadvantage things: lift too small. I got room right opposite the elevator, and the corridor is too small people crowds in front of my room.
Anyway, I enjoyed the stay and will stay there again if I have the chance.

This is a 3 star hotel and considered as a Superior Tourist class property. Aproximatelly one and half hour to thje Borobudur temple, one of the seven Wonders of the world. (JH 14/04/09) A modern building with Keraton and Palace interior concept. Surrounded by landscaped garden. Sahid Raya Hotel is located at city centre and approximately 15 minutes drive from Adi Sucipto International Airport.

Do not ever book the standard room from this hotel. It was horrible! I stay in the superior room which is already below my standard actually. Staff are really friendly and helpful though.

Thank you for allowing me to write a simple comments on Cakra Kusuma Hotel Yogyakarta. Me and my wife overall are happy with the hotel food and location. But there are rooms for improvement in other department.
I had a room with the window facing the corridor and it makes us feel uncomfortable in terms of privacy and security.
On our first night, a group of guests had a pool party which near to the hotel rooms till midnight. The hotel staff and management should concern to other guest who needs rest and their beauty sleep.
Blue painted wall in the interior and exterior reminds me of a public hospital!
On our last night stay in the hotel, there were total blackout and it took 30 minutes for their technician to solve the problem.
I hope these feedback could improve their services.

市内からは遠いですが、空港に近いのがメリットです。市内へは無料シャトルバスもありますし、ホテル前がバス停なので、少しでもコミュニケーションが取れれば問題ないでしょう。プールの大きさは、この料金帯からすると特筆すべきもので、のんびりリゾート気分を味わえます。難点を一つだけ言えば、泊まった部屋に自由に使えるコンセントが無く、テレビを湯沸かしポットに、部屋のスタンドライトをパソコンの電源に使用しました。ここはもう少し考えて頂きたいところです。
