Good hotel at Denpasar, a little

Good hotel at Denpasar, a little far from all good things for tourists but with free upgrade to suite I was happy to stay here. No mad traffic and nose to worry about. Badly stained carpets and no wifi in rooms was the only down side. Food at cafe/resto was average and a little pricy but was ok. Much of the menu was unavailable. Pool areas (x2) was good with much room to walk around and soak up the sun. Good shopping malls for clothing and furniture etc were not far away. Staff and security are friendly but english was not very good. I will stay again.

Description
February 15th to June 14th 2012: Hotel will undergo renovations to 2 blocks of suites. The hotel will be operating with only 35 suites. The renovations will include new bathroom fixtures, new lighting and changes to air-conditioning system. There is no anticipated noise disturbance to hotel guests for the duration.
February 20th to June 14th 2012: Hotel will build a new adult lap pool. Some noise may be observed during the preparation period. From 20th February a barrier will be placed around the perimeter of the work area to keep the site out of view and to minimize noise disturbances. The existing pool will be open and remains in full operation although the infinity view to the ocean will be temporarily disrupted.
From 1st March, the sunset lawn area at the front of the hotel will be dug out in preparation for the new lap pool. Upgrading works to the north garden and the deck will be carried out concurrently during this period. A barrier will be placed from the edge of the existing pool to the Ocean Bar (right wing when facing the Indian Ocean).
All guests will be accommodated in the left wing during this period. Guests will still enjoy the ocean-facing view and hotel will do all possible to minimize disruptions.
February 15th to May 31st 2012: The Beach House will undergo renovations and will re-open June 1st 2012. The hotel will be reopened fully on the 15th of June 2012.
From Feb 20th to May 31st 2012: Hotel availability is closed and on request basis only.

Almost everything is very good standard for the price except the standard room we stayed was a bit old especially the bath room.
Outside facilities are superb. Cozy and stylish atmostphere. The restaurants were very good in terms of food quality and service and reasonably price.
I would go back there again.

We thought the Hotel was beautiful, the service excellent and the hotel staff very friendly and couldnt do enough for us. We requested a kingsize bed and ground floor room, which they supplied. The hotel was very full of European people.
My only concern was there was no non smoking section in the restaurant and we had to suffer people smoking whilst eating.
Otherwise it was a great experience and we would not hesitate to go there again.

We came to Villa Seminyak Estate and Spa at the end of our Bali vacation. It's located in a central part of the city (although on a mostly unpaved alley) and is walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The staff was very welcoming and spoke English well. The room was clean and had the best shower of any place we stayed in Bali. The water pressure was good. The bathroom, however, was a little small and not well-lit. The centrally-located pool was nice (although it could use a thorough scrubbing) and the breakfast buffet was serviceable. In addition, the staff was flexible with us and arranged a late check out and shuttle to the airport.
We would stay again.

The hotel is on a busy street about 25-40 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic. Unfortunately they do not include an airport shuttle. If they did, the hotel would be a great value.
Shopping is adequate, but there are no large western-style malls, rather has lots of smaller shops and eating places.
The breakfast buffet was very nice, the rooms were clean, the AC worked well, hot water and shower were great. Rooms were supplied with a fridge and small safe for security. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I just recently stayed at the fave hotel in Denpasar Bali for transiting airplane schedule on next day and business tavelling. The location was excellent, on cental downtown and locate on heart of the city. Really nice hotel for it star rating. Would stay again if the pricing is right. The staff is nice and friendly, but the breakfast is so terrible, not enough portions recently for us and food is not tasty at all. Also Wifi connection was not working at room. I hope the management of this hotel hear this comments and make approvement on the services. thanks, viva Bali....

Once I entered my room, I realized that you pay for the environment - the beach and the beautiful grounds. The room was nothing special but I did enjoy my stay. The location is great and the staff was friendly. I ate at the restaurant and the food was good.

The stay was comfortable. Only problem we encountered was mosquitoes on the first night. After we mentioned it to the housekeeping staff, the problem was taken care off. Overall stay was comfortable.

Enjoyed all the services and standards of the hotel, excepf for a few suggestions:
a. The aircon need to be replaced as the vibrating sounds filters through the walls of the next room.
b. Better english speaking staff to communicate with and with more knowledge. When you are staying away from the hotel, a client need to know whats around, places to eat, sights nearby to visit, etc. Because a person who has never been to bali will have no idea whatsoever. So the hotel staff need to brief the clients and encourage thoer stay at the hotel/destination. For me, I just wanted to get out of bali as I felt thee was nothing much to do.

At first compliments to the staff: very friendly and willing to help you.
Unfortunately, we had to change rooms twice: the first time we were placed near the noisy generator of the airco. The second time they placed us again in a noisy room: along the busy road.
The chambers were smaller then the pictures are showing on the internet.
They were clean.
There is one computer with free internet use and also free WIFI available
