My stay was good.Convenient location,with a helpfuf staff. There is a first class restaurant with good food and very accomodating staff. A cup of coffee is something that is lacking. Cappaccino's, Lattie's etc., but no regular cup of coffee. No one knows how to make a good cup fo american coffee.Over all,my stay was pleasant and relaxing.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location is superb if one wants to be in the center of Budapest within a few minutes of tram, bus, or metro. Most of the important places to access are within minutes.

Bra pris och trevlig personal. Bra läge nära t-bana och spårvagnar på en av huvudgatorna i Budapest. Frukosten var bra, men när det tog slut tog det ibland lång tid för personalen att fylla på. Hotellet och rummet var lite slitet. RUmmet var väldigt stort till ytan, med en form av 60-tals atmosfär kvar i rummet. På gränsen till att bli sunkigt, men det vägdes som sagt upp av att det var rent och bra pris. Dusch och WC var helt OK.

Conveniently located right next to the Western Train Station that runs trains to/from the airport every 15-20 minutes, plus an underground station right outside for a ride to downtown (3 stops). Good bathroom with a separate bath and shower. Room is quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and good quality. Staff cannot be friendlier. Very good hotel. We will stay again.

Modern hotel close to Westend centre and business district. Rooms small but good beds and facilities, including kettle. Breakfast buffet good.
Only problem was that hotel has two lifts and one seemed to be out of order. The other was being used by cleaners for trolleys, so long waits for lift at breakfast/checkout time.

The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurant inside had very good food. It is in a good location as you can walk to just about anywhere in the city in 25 minutes.
The only drawbacks were; only 1 computer to access the internet (no Wi-Fi), difficulty getting bags up the stairs, and lack of extra power outlets.

Was what was advertised. No surprises except I expected an internet connection. There was but with only one computer available and no WIFI. Not enough electrical outlets in room to charge equipment. Nicely refurbished but lacked some things. No vent in bathroom and ventilation system was hit-and-miss. Luckily the weather was cooperative.
Description
The hotel is a beautiful result of a unique architectural style and solution. Air-conditioned public halls and rooms which are modern in all aspects have been formed by creating a new floor in a civil flat from the last century, with preserving its architectural style. If you would like to go for shopping and spend your time in one of the biggest shopping mall of Europe it only takes you 10-15 minutes on foot to reach the Westend City Center. Of course pretty cafs, traditional fast food restaurants aren't missing from the nearby and you also find a fine market for buying fresh fruits and vegetables and also some meat. 24 hours reception, central safe, elevator. Breakfast is included in room rates. Internet corner is available in the hotel. Wired Internet access is available in all rooms. Using the Internet connection is free of charge. The hotel is located in a paid parking zone. The hotel has no own parking lot. Public garage is available near the hotel, charges apply. The hotel is wheelchair accessible and features special rooms designed for wheelchair use.

Very comfortable room and friendly staff. The pool was nice and refreshing after touring the city, but the fitness area (lots of equipment) was a little bit of a letdown as the A/C was broken for it and it was too hot to do just about anything.
The hotel was a little more than a 5 minute walk from the metro which was three stops from the center of the city.

An absolute pleasure staying at this hotel. The staff were excellent and their attitude exemplary. My only negatives were lack of wireless strength to the room we were in and no electric plugs by the bed. The location is somewhat out of town but nothing too serious.

Les plus : sa localisation (avenue Andrassy et à 2mn du métro) le confort, la décoration, le calme, le restaurant, le personnel efficace et discret, les services : vraiment un bel endroit très agréable.
Les moins : sa localisation un peu loin du centre et des magasins (rien aux alentours) mais proche des superbes bains du bois de ville , une petite bouilloire d'appoint dans la chambre (ou comme dans le mamaison de prague une kitchenette) : il fallait bien trouver qqchose ! vraiment rien à redire un havre confortable dans des chambres décorées avec goût et silencieuses.

We spent a weekend here. Rooms were spacious and clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. Had a couple of very excellent (if slightly expensive) meals in the hotel restaurant. On the metro line and close to Szechenyi baths. Excellent value for money.

This is a good hotel in a stunning part of the city. Situated on a tree lined wide street, it is the perfect base to explore the city from. The hotel has good conference facilities and organizes a variety of tours in the city. (AHJ 11.08) Modern purpose built hotel split in two parts with a 3* and 4* building. The building is 5 storeys tall. is situated in one of the most beautiful and prestigeous residential areas in central Budapest. The apartment hotel is just a 3 minute walk away from the famous city park and Hero's Square. The street lies adjacent to the national heritage protected Andrassy street which in itself is a city attraction. The river Danube can be reached by public transport or is a short walk away.

A great budget yet good quality 4 star in a good central location - highly recommended! PL 11/09 This is a revamped traditional building. About ten minutes walk from the Hungarian Parliament building and the start of the famous Andrassy Street - great location in a good area.

The hotel is very close to one of the central metro station, giving 20-minute access to almost every landmark.
The room was very new and clean. Wired internet is available, so it's harder to get on the web with a tablet computer. Full buffet breakfast has a lot of variation and is taken in a pleasant setting. Staff is helpful and amiable when asked, despite appearing distant and uninterested.
I got the impression this is a great hotel for families with children and business people as well. Definitely recommended!

This is a residential apartment block with a number of units part of the Judit apartments. A basic budget 2* hotel in what is a nice residential area not far from the city centre. The public areas are not particularly inspiring but if you are after a basic central budget hotel this is not a bad option. (AHJ 10.08) A rather drab looking 1970's apartment building with balconies on the front face of the block. Located in the northern part of the city, yet within walking distance of the river Danube and just 5 minutes from the excellent Westend shopping centre and nearest Metro station.

The room was pretty basic but perfect for what we needed it for. It was clean and it was serviced every day even during Christmas. (Cleaned, bin emptied, they even did our washing up, sheets were changed after 4 days, towels provided.) The bathroom was clean, kitchen a bit basic, no kettle, toaster, glasses or a proper knife, no salt pepper etc. but they had plates, mugs, cups, cutlery (2 of everything) and lots of pots and pans, a microwave, a fridge and a table top hob. There is a tv in the room and wifi. Reception and cleaning staff were extremely polite and very helpful. Good location, 10 minutes walk from the main boulevard, the nearest tube station and a huge shopping centre.

Great hotel. Location good for relaxing out of the city however can be up to an hour walk to many of the sights. Transport is available during the day to reduce the need to walk. Breakfast very expensive so recommend eating elsewhere.

Tout est propre et tout est usé. Personnel très efficace comme partout à Budapest. Room service repas chaud annoncé en 10minutes et servi en 8!! Et bon avec ça!.Petit déjeuner correct. Grand fitness plutôt bien équipé. Rapport qualité prix imbattable mais chaque mur,meuble,porte a une éraflure ou tache. Les draps propres mais non repassés. L'ile est magnifique et idéale pour le jogging.Attention, ils sont rapides les autres!

I stayed for a night at the Grand in preparation for a corporate event at the island. The Grand is a historical landmark that has maintained a classy look. Room was somewhat small but it was spotless. The lobby of the hotel makes you feel you are at a five star establishment. I would definitely recommend the Grand to anyone staying in Budapest.
