This hotel is great. Location is in a nice quiet location but with good restaurants a few doors away. Breakfast is varied, fresh and delicious. Staff is best, they go over and above to be helpful.

Séjour en juin à Budapest enchanteur. Il faut dire que le beau temps était de la partie.
Nous avons pris à l'aéroport un pass 3 jour transports couplé à un pass navette aéroport-hôtel aller-retour, avec en prime une promenade sur le Danube, qui nous a permis de circuler librement et de bien visiter la ville.
La situation de l'hôtel est parfaite, proche du Danube, du centre ville et des musées.
L'Hôtel ne sert que le petit déjeuner (copieux et succulent avec champagne le week-end !), mais il y a de nombreux restaurants sympas et à tous les prix à proximité.

The hotel is on the first floor

The hotel is on the first floor with no elevator but that was not a problem as there were only a few steps and they were very wide. The room was quite small but ok for short stays. Room was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wifi internet was free and there was also internet in the reception. Cold buffet breakfast was adequate and was 3 euro.
The hotel is in a residential area which was a good experience. It is close to the metro and only one stop from the main train station.

Easy Access to Central Budapest

The Hotel is in a great central location only one street away from access to all types of public transport, shopping districts and very close to the Danube River. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were comfortable and well maintained. It is not 5 star but it is very good value for money.

We spent the New year eve and some days in Budapest, and got a good deal on this hotel. It was nice, with small, modern rooms and a great breakfast!
Pros: Staff, rooms, breakfast, the little gallery.
Cons: Location (a quite long walk from downtown), cleanness (Not really bad, but some stripes from soap in the shower and sink.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ramada. Our room was tidy & comfortable, however the bathroom was a little dated & the shower was mouldy. The staff were friendly & helpful. The hotel is only 5 minutes from the local street lined with restaurants, however it is a 15-20 minute walk into central Budapest. Saying this, we enjoyed our stay and would return to this hotel.

We had a great week at the Hotel Sissi. The location was terrific...one block from the metro station! Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was included and a good meal. The only complaint was that the staff were a bit too eager to sell us tickets, passes, etc. Fortunately, we did our homework and knew we could purchase these tickets cheaper.

The 3 star, middle class hotel, which was built 9 years ago in one of the fast developing areas of Budapest, awaits its visitors with 42 comfortable air-conditioned rooms. All the rooms are furnished in Scandinavian style, completed with bathroom, hairdryer, color TV with satellite programs, phone, safe and mini bar. There are also five charming apartments, which consist of a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. The hotel is ideal for holding smaller meetings. The 3 naturally lighted, air-conditioned conference rooms (2 of them are for 20 people, whereas the third is for 40 people) are suitable for trainings, seminars and meetings. Available technical equipments: overhead projector, laptop, wireless Internet access, flipchart, screen, TV, video recorder, DVD player. Other services of the hotel are drink bar in the lobby, Restaurant, which offers Hungarian and European specialties, Sunny terrace in the garden, safe parking area, small business center (fax, computer, telephone) and wireless internet access. W hotelu spędziliśmy 4 noce w czerwcu 2010. Świetna lokalizacja blisko stacji metra i przystanków tramwajowych. Pieszy spacer do centrum też nie trwa długo. Dość duża łazienka z obszernymi półkami, tak że jest gdzie położyć ubranie, szampony, wszelkie kosmetyki itd. Telewizor z beznadziejnym odbiorem, pusty minibar z nieszczelnymi drzwiami. Recepcjoniści mili, chętnie udzielają informacji. Pokoje i cały hotel czyste. Dobre śniadania. W pokoju położonym od ulicy jest trochę głośno. Ulica boczna, mało ruchliwa, ale jest wąska i szczelnie zabudowana, więc każdy szmer ulega wzmocnieniu. Dobra cena za otrzymane usługi.

The Hotel Casa Sol was built in 2006, it has 37 traditional European style non-smoking rooms. The size of our standard rooms is over average, 30-35 sqm and our 3 suites are 60-66 sqm. All our rooms have a friendly, cozy atmosphere, of course a private bathroom belongs to them and have rich equipment: air-conditioning, telephone, television, work desk, comfortable chairs, hairdryer and European power sockets serve the comfort of our Guests. Furthermore, all of our rooms have a kitchen with hotplate and fridge, on request we can provide microwave oven, coffee maker and kitchen equipment. For our handicapped Guests we have a room suitable for their needs.

Понравилось практически все. Отель только что построен. Сделано все с умом, любовью. Номер отлично спроектирован. На оборудование денег не пожалели. Было все и даже ДВД плэйер, что оказалось очень кстати! Отличные холодильник и электрочайник... Великолепная кровать, удобная мебель. Надеюсь что цена не поползет вверх... Прекрасный утренний ресторан, приятная посуда.... Завтраки по содержанию вполне приемлемы, но без излишеств. Утреннее шампанское было конечно перебором. При этом непонятно безобразная работа работников в ресторане. Все 4 дня делалось все чтобы еду приходилось "ждать" ?! Шведский стол это изобилие всего а не
пустые блюда, которые периодически заполнялись как будто отрывалось от сердца последнее. Думаю хозяевам надо сменить персонал на кухне. Но это не омрачило общего отличного впечатления! Очень рекомендую и при возможности и приемлемой вновь цене-обязательно вновь здесь остановимся...

Beautiful, new hotel with most friendly and accommodating staff. We had to leave early so they packed a breakfast for us to take with us on the train. We are going back for a couple more nights at the end of our trip and really looking forward to it.

We spent 4 nights at the Mercure Duna. The location was fine - especially once we figured out how to take the 4/6 tram which stops just outside the hotel. The rooms were perhaps a bit small, but really, it was totally fine for 2 adults travelling with big bags. I appreciated that the room had a safe and that there was an ice machine on the first floor. The breakfast was overpriced (13E) and so was internet (10E) but I was able to pick up wireless from the surroundings. Also, upon checkout we were nearly overcharged $45USD for breakfasts that we did not eat so I'm glad I double checked the bill...

An excellent 3* hotel close to the city's best attractions. The reception and bar are both open 24 hours and there is hotel parking available. As of the middle of May 2008 after extensive refurbishment and upgrade of all bedrooms and public spaces, the City Inn will become a 4* hotel. (AHJ0509) Built in 2005, this modern brick building is 6 stories tall with a large glass entrance. Situated in a quiet residential street in Budapest's 8th district, the City Inn is just a leisurely 10-15 minute walk to the popular tourist Vaci street and the Danube River. It is close to a tram stop linking passengers to all of the city's attractions. The hotel is just a 25 minute drive from the airport.

The Hotel Anna is centrally located in the city on the Pest side.It was very convenient.The Metro is about 3 blocks away,and I discovered an absolutely wonderful restaurant two blocks away. The food was fantastic. I did not eat at the hotel's owned restaurant although it is closer. The prices there were higher, and the food photos were not appealing. The breakfast at the hotel was included and it was adequate. I enjoyed the braided bread for my toast. I did not care for their coffee but found a 24 coffee place again 3 blocks away where I would get my coffee in the morning.The rooms are clean and very simple. The best thing was to be so close to the city yet it was very quiet and peaceful at night.The bed was comfortable. I liked that there was plenty of storage for my things with a closet with several shelves. They also had a room safe which allowed me to leave money and my passport without concern in my room. My only complaint was that the bathroom smelled of sulphur which was not a pleasant smell. However I did adjust to it. My girlfriend had a room on the same floor in the next section and her bathroom did not smell that way at all. All things combined, I would recommend this hotel to a friend. It was all that i needed and I traveled alone for the most part and felt safe. the staff were always friendly and helpful. The free internet in the lobby allowed me to keep in touch with my family. The lobby was very nicely appointed with comfortable leather couches.

Description
A superb hostel at a good price in a great location. This is a traditional building. Superbly located on the Raday Street - one of Budapest's most up and coming areas with a huge choice of excellent bars and restaurants. The Danube is very close by as is the Grand Boulevard. One of Budapest's most enchanting churches in the Bakats square is also only a few steps away.

Si vous aimez le bruit et voulez entendre vos voisins aller au toilette et faire des nuits blanches à cause du froid qui vous surprend dans la nuit s'est l'idéal .
De plus, le reste du personnels féminins jeunes ,est fort peu aimable et inadapter pour l'acceuil les clients étranger ,ils ne vous renseignent pas du tout sur la ville ,ils ne vous appel même pas un taxi ,c'est tout juste si le déjeunée est fait (un jour oui un jour non ) ils ne vous donne pas de couverture parce qu'ils s'interresse pas à vous tout simplement.
A éviter absolument même si le prix est attractif!

The hotel is of an excellent standard and well located. Ideal for travelers on a budget looking for a good standard hotel (03.09) AHJ A traditional building, the hotel has been renovated. The exterior has been painted yellow. There is a large sweeping driveway at the front. This hotel is excellently located for access to Budapest's main attractions. The city centre is just 5 minutes by taxi or metro.

Description
A friendly 3* hotel not far from the centre of Pest. (AHJ 0308) A traditional building just 3 storeys tall. Situated in the east of Pest and just a 10 minute drive into the middle of the city, it is located on a very quiet street in a residential area and is just 400 meters from the nearest tram stop.

This hotel was a bit farther from central Budapest than expected, but the friendly and accommodating staff made our stay very pleasant. Staff were more than willing to provide directions to local attractions, to public transit, and they were forthcoming with recommendations of things to see and do in the city. The room itself was a good size, and adequately met our needs.
