This hotel is in an excellent location. There is a big supermarket on the next block and good restuarants nearby. It is close to the hop on hop off bus and subway station. In walking distance of tourist attractions on the Pest side. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Highly recommend it!

Great location and price. Very easy access to the train and tram made travelling in and out of the city very easy. The mall near the hotel (10 minute walk max) offered nice shopping and distractions from your typical site-seeing activities. Great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to get the most for their money.

L'accueil au Bristol Hôtel est vraiment bon, le personnel est toujours souriant et attentif à vos demandes: réservations, visites, services dans les chambres, informations, renseignements etc.
Le petit déjeuner est copieux et très varié, super.
Enfin, bien situé, à 5-10 min à pied du métro (stations Keleti ou Blaja ter) ou 2 mn des bus.
Très peu de bruit.
Très bon choix, très bon rapport qualité prix.

The hotel is set in a good location, near a metro and tram station, and a walking distance from most of the major attractions. The staff was nice and helpful. For some reason, they decided to destroy one of our friends credit card, when they found it in the hallway, instead of keeping it. The rooms where big and clean.

This hotel has great location and is an extremely good value if booked on the internet. Much more important is the staff. The staff was awesome in providing information and assistance. I made use of the luggage room to store my luggage while I traveled away for a few days. I also used the hotel's services to reserve shuttle to the airport and other arrangements. Extremely pleased with breakfast buffet.

This hotel is spectacularly beautiful. The cafe and lobby are stunning. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and spoke fluent English. They tell you that wi-fi only works in the lobby but I was able to get it to work fine for me in room 440. Good signal and speed. No ice machine which is a negative for someone from the southern U.S, but I'm sure they would have brought me some if I had asked.. Tiny bit of traffic noise but it didn't keep me awake (even though I'm a VERY light sleeper). In fact, with the windows and drapes closed, the room is very quiet and dark, so I slept like a queen. The room was enormous and ultra comfy and spotlessly clean.. Loved the fact that they have both foam and down pillows.
The area surrounding the hotel is only so-so. Not much pretty scenery but I felt safe there, even when I was alone.. One advantage of the location is that it's within a few steps of a metro stop, pharmacy, shops and grocery store. The main train station is only about 15 minutes on foot or a metro stop away.

Un rapport qualité/ prix excellent pour un confort général tout a fait correct.
Cela ne vaut pas le ZARA hôtel qui se situe un peu plus bas sur la même rue, mais notre séjour fut très agréable tout de même !
Une adresse a recommander pour un budget tout a fait raisonnable et compte tenu de l'emplacement de l'hotel sur Dohany utca, qui après 15 min de marche vous conduit tout droit en plein centre de Budapest.
Nous reviendrons.

Best choice for those who prefer staying in home-like apartments while travelling abroad. New building with exclusively decorated apartments is located in the green area close to the downtown. In every apartment there is a double bed and a sofa (for 2 persons), bed linen + towels. Kitchens: refrigerators, glass ceramic stoves, fans, microwaves, dishwashers, coffee-machines and dishes. Free Internet (LAN cable), LCD TV satellite channels.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!! All guests are kindly requested to advise their estimated time of arrival because the reception hours are limited.
There is a 200 security deposit required at check in (CASH ONLY) which will be returned at check-out. Hotel does not accept credit card payments.

Nice nad clean apartment, relatively good location (although currently you have roadworks there). What I have missed was sensible satelite TV programming, as the available ones were a bit odd (practically all Russian). Nevertheless - I can recommend the place.

The room was kind of small but the staff was super friendly and nice. They were also very helpful and it was convenient to be able to book tours or bathhouse tickets straight from the hotel. The hotel is brand new and in a very convenient location from the metro. You're pretty close to the center of town. And they've got a pretty nice breakfast spread in the morning. I can't comment on the pool or exercise facilities since I didn't have a chance to take advantage of it but I would definitely return to this hotel.

This was our first visit to Budapest and the hotel was very well situated for our needs. We did all the usual tourist things but could have done more, if the weather and time was more conducive. We fell in love with Budapest and the people were delightful - much better than our visit to Copenhagen around the same time last year!
The only thing missing was our lack of knowledge - next time we'll be better prepared!

The hotel was new so it was very clean. It was their grand opening so we got a great rate. Room was a bit small although it was nice and quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent and service was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our questions. The location was convenient to the train station but far from the main city center. We walked to the main towne center but took a bus on the way back since it was quite far. Would have preferred to have access to a computer. Overall, I definitely would stay there again.

The staff was very nice, but the hotel is kind of strange: good location, large room, but no shampoo, one piece of soap for 4 nights, no desk to work on... I wouldn't probably stay there again.

bad and very disrespectfull attitude from the owner
receptionists are very not proffesional,
first they authorised me i could stay untill 6pm then 3pm and later on they said leave at 11.they simply packed my suitcase alone without me being in the room and took all my belongings out.
the area of the hotel is very unsafe,i was pickpocketed and many xxxxx near the hotel entrance,dont get near the hotel,its better to add some more 10-15 dollars and stay in a better place

Make sure you do not get a room facing the street.
The street is in of the busiest and loudest in Bdpst.
The coffee for breakfast was terrible.
Everything else OK.

First time I see in this hotel over 20 years that they could not accept their customers staying in hotel to their restaurant for dinner because of its full due to a group dinner. So you must find somewhere for dinner after a tired day. And also last day we didn't find bottled water and cakes, cookies etc. (only a not fresh bread) in breakfast. I think the staff aren't so professional if hotel is full. And the restaurant tables are not clean.

Clean, spacious and with all necessities. While transport was close, the area was somewhat downtrodden. I would still recommend the accommodation.

A great budget property, well located, for guests visiting Budapest in the summer months. This is a renovated old building. Centrally located in the 7th district, close to public transport and bars / restaurants.
