El hotel está muy bien ubicado y las vistas desde la terraza son preciosas. La recepcionista que nos tocó fue poco amable. Nos pareció que en un hotel de esa categoría, el precio por el servicio de Internet wi-fi es excesivo y debiera ser libre.

I travel frequently through Hong Kong and have always considered this location but never stayed. This trip, I needed an early departure to Mainland China and this location is literally attached to the China Ferry Terminal. I was very pleasantly surprised with the hotel and staff. Unfortunately during my stay, the hotel restaurant and bar are being renovated so I wasn't able to experience- however I would certainly return again.

Great Location

  • HK Lover
  • May 20, 2012
The hotel is located on Austin Road, close to major shopping and tourist areas. Staff may not be "enthusiastic" by international standards but very efficient. Check in was super fast and we were given a room on the top floor with an amazing view overlooking Kowloon Park and the harbor (awesome skyline view at night) We had a standard 1 Queen bed room and it came with the basic amenities. Shower head is not detachable (for those of you who may be interested to know). Free Wi-Fi access in room and a nice flat panel Samsung TV, although the quality of images is sub-par (but hey, you would be spending the day exploring the City so why does that matter?) The elevator is indeed quite slow and can be frustrating when you're wet from the rain and tired and just want to collapse on your bed. The bed by the way is somewhat hard and may cause discomfort for those who have existing back/shoulder issues. Relatively a short walk to fast food, convenient stores, supermarkets, pharmacies, and cosmetic stores. Close to the MTR Jordan Station. The building also houses the Hong Kong Scout Centre and I did see a large group of very young boy and girl scouts holding hands walking in pairs through the hotel lobby. It brought smiles from hotel guests on that rainy, rainy day. Overall a decently priced hotel in a decent location. Would stay here again and would recommend to those who are looking for a central location with easy access to various tourist areas in Hong Kong.

Excellent location in Hong Kong

The Marco Polo has a great location for shopping, restaurants and access to ferries that take you to Central and Macau. The room was much larger than expected and had a great view looking over the harbor. The staff was always very helpful although the concierge made a bad call regarding a restaurant (Partly my fault as I waited until Saturday evening to find a place).

Was in Hong Kong for a conference which took place across the harbor at the IFC Mall 4-Seasons Hotel. The Marco Polo was very well priced and much more convenient that staying at other hotels on the HK-island, because it is around the corner from the Star Ferry that takes you across the harbor and just minutes walk from the IFC Mall.

Everytinh in the hotel was great, except that i dont understand why all hotels insist in charging for internet service. And When I arrived my room has not ready so they were willing to give me a room before time for $200.USD a liitle bit exagerated from my point of view, but it's a great hotel with excellent location.

Sehr freundliches Personal, Doppelzimmer sehr klein, jedoch vollkommen ausreichend. Hotel absolut empfehlenswert.

Kowloon vitality...

During an extraordinarily busy week for events in Hong Kong (including several investment conferences, a 3-day film market, and the Rugby sevens) tight hotel conditions prompted my return to the Kowloon side of the harbor to the Intercontinental (once known as the Regent). What a delightful and welcome surprise. Superior staff service, an impressive club floor facility, a highly efficient business center, and several top-tier restaurants (Nobu and Ducasse's Spoon are both in-house attractions). When combined with Kowloon's irrepressible energy level extending deep into each evening, it's enough to make this business traveler think long and hard before staying again on HK's central side during future trips to this remarkable city.

The hotel is situated above Jordan MTR. Super convenient with a lot of shops around its vicinity. The amenities were great. Staffs are friendly & helpful at all times. I appreciate the hotel kind gesture of helping me to arrange a birthday cake surprise for my loved one whose birthday happen to falls on our check-in date. Only lapse is the hardness of my room bed which cause me slight backache. Overall is a great experience staying at Prudential. I will definitely stay at Prudential during my next visit to HK.

It was a great place to stop after our trip to Shenzhen. It's just a block away from Temple Street, which has clothes and food stands. Beautiful rooms with great air conditioning. Staff was super helpful and overly accommodating. Our room included a breakfast, and they let us pack a take away box so we could explore the city before heading to the airport. It's only a 5 minute taxi to Kowloon station, where you can check into your flight and drop your bags without waiting in line. Then jump on the express train to the airport without dragging any luggage. Classy!

HK was cold, but the Harbour Grand warmed us up!

Really enjoyed our stay in HK (Jan 2012), despite the very chilly temperatures. I found the concierge to be very helpful and definitely a good resource. The shuttle to the MTR station was always right on time and very helpful for getting around. There are some gems to be found in walking distance if you are looking for a bite to eat or shop.

Relaxing break

  • Normski
  • Dec 15, 2011
We stayed at this hotel for 3 days en route home to the UK. Found it to be very relaxing. The rooftop pool was amazing and fortunately the weather was really great and we had the pool to ourselves for the morning before it got a bit busy but not crowded or hectic. Room service was very good and so was the food. Cost of menu and drinks were as expected for this class of hotel. Staff on reception were very helpful, courteous and polite. Booking in was efficient. Bit unnerving when the doormen whisk your luggage out of your cab but it was transported to our room with minimal delay. Unfortunately you will have to go further down to the other side of the harbour to see the Symphony of Lights show in the evenings because it is just out of view. Reception area looked beautiful with all the Christmas decorations and the fountain. Was a pleasure to view. Room was very comfortable and fairly spacious for 2 people. Beds very comfortable. Our room was on the 16th floor and it did take a while for housekeeping to reach our room but they are approachable if you need clean towels and tea and coffee top ups. Taxis can be booked at all times and are outside the door even at 04.00am and we found it easier to go by taxi to the airport rather than bus where it would cost HK$130 per person (by bus) then you would have to find your way to the hotel from there or just get a taxi and pay approx HK$250 and takes you door to door. Lovely, lovely hotel and would definitely go again if I had the opportunity.

This Hotel's Harbour Club floor is particalarly good value for money with ii's own check in/out and cocktails/canapes etc. All guestrooms small with limited storage space and little room for luggage. Staff very friendly and helpful. The buffet beakfast is generous and fresh. It is difficult to imagine a better situated hotel for visiting HK as it is directly above the Tsim Sha Tsui metro station and three minutes walk from Star Ferry and on the A21 airport bus route ( much cheaper that thr train)

Good experience overall. Good view of Victoria Harbor even though we were in one of the lower rooms. We were able to do a lot of shopping without undue walking or taxi rides. The free shuttle was a big help. Only negative, really, was shelling out $7 per page when having our boarding passes printed in the business center.

Beautiful hotel in the center of HK

  • Pleasantly surprised
  • Oct 18, 2010
Stayed at their Executive Suite, which was one of the few types on rooms in HK that is large enough for 4 people for room. This gave us access to a gorgeous corner room with views of Victoria Harbor, free breakfast and appetizers throughout the day, and access to the executive lounge. Because the hotel is located in the center of the city near the business district, there were a lot of business travelers, but still plenty dining and shopping available to keep leisure travelers happy. We fully took advantage of all of those and loved our stay.

All Good in Butterfly!

  • Axon
  • May 17, 2012
It was a nice cosy hotel with a great location near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station. ( 3 min walk) . The rooms are not big, but its a lot bigger than some of the hotels in HK. You can get a spacious room if you pay a little bit more. The bed & pillows were comfotable. The staff are friendly & speaks simple English. So all was good when asking for directions etc. There is a microwave, fridge & safety box in the room. If you need an iron, you can request for one. The walls are thin, So the cleaning staff woke me up early in the morning while talking along the corridor. Make sure you put out the -Do not disturb sign too, or else they will come knocking on your door for laundry serivce early in the morning . Overall, despite being on the pricier side, it was a comfortable stay.
