Spring Break Was A Success!
I recently stayed here from March 23rd-28th of this year. I went with a close group of friends to spend our Spring Break here and it was a success! Although it was more of a family resort, the staff sure didn't make it feel that way for us. The service all around the property is extremely helpful. They provided us with plenty of tips and recommendations of all sorts. The clerk at the concierge desk took the time to explain each and every activity there is to do within the area. All the activities are a good while away but not too bad with the speedy shuttle/taxi service. For a group of 7, we went on the jet skis, snorkled, took the glass boat to the arch rock, zip lined, and rode some ATV's (2 1/2 hour trail, oceanside!). We each paid around $230 for all of this, which was definitely worth every dollar! There is FREE WiFi all throughout the hotel but it's a bit slow for some spots. The all-inclusive package was awesome, especially for our large group; unlimited drinks and food. You can't go wrong with that! Overall, it was a great trip and I would definitely stay here again!

Birthday getaway
The hotel staff are 5 star customer service, the hotel property is very well maintained but old, normal and nothing special...definately needs remodelation and upgrades in all areas. Again, service is amazing ! Besides customer service, is a good 3 star resort.

8th year at the Holiday Inn
First time we had the "revenge" attack 9 out of our 18 person party who stayed at the hotel. Reported it to the hotel manager as well as the Holiday Inn customer relations center. Tried to identify the cause but was not able to do so because the suspected foods were eaten by some who did not get sick. We will likely return if we get assurance of an investigation and correction of any issues identified. Otherwise, the staff, food and service have been excellent even though the hotel has had to cut back on personnel due to the lower occupancy rate.

Not a perfect time to go but overall okay experience
The location of this resort is pretty good if you are looking for some quiet time and relaxation. It is away from the party life of Los Cabos San Lucas. However, if you ever feel like partying and being out somewhere loud San Lucas is only a 30min drive from the resort. But the taxi ride to get out there is quite expensive, which is $35 USD one way. If you are planning to go into San Lucas on multiple days you might be better off renting a car. I heard it is about $65 USD for the whole day, which is better than paying $70 there and back via taxi. But on the other hand, the resort offers a scheduled shuttle to take you to San Lucas for only $10USD there and back. For example the shuttle will pick you up at the resort at 4pm and drop you off at a certain location where they will pick you up at 9pm to head back to the resort. The food was average. The breakfast buffet seemed like continental. Not a lot of variety. The menu for lunch and dinner did not have a lot of selections and some meal cost some money, if you wanted to pay a little more. Not very many restaurants were open. It was limited because there was not a lot of people in the resort. Apparently August is one of their slowest months, which is no wonder why there was not a lot of people. It was way too quiet for my friends and I. But then again if you and your family are looking for a nice quiet place, Holiday Inn resort is a good one to go to. You get what you pay for. The resort is more busy during the months from November-March. There was no entertainment or shows during the evening. They only had one Mexican night during the 7 days we were in the resort. Since there was not a lot of guests, daytime activities would get cancelled. I would personally pay the extra 100$ for a better hotel.

It's decent but not the best
Dinner is outside every night and while we were there it was breezy and in the 50's at nights so you had to wear sweatshirts and pants every night. We had put the do not disturb sign on the door and the maid came in and cleaned anyway. It's a good value for the money but I've stayed at better places elsewhere in Mexico for similar prices. The staff was very helpful, fun and friendly. I would recommend this to families or people looking for a low-budget get away.

Quiet location, Terrible food
The staff was friendly and the place was quiet. The food was really bad and the beach was far away from the hotel. Most of the activities are in Cabo San Lucas, which is a $35 cab fare one way.

Trip to Holiday Inn San Jose del Cabo
The grounds were beautifully kept. We first were put on first level but by the septic system which was unacceptable.Able to move next day to 3rd floor and rooms very clean so we were satisfied.Staff very friendly but seemed to be slow with service quite a bit in the restaurants. Would have been nice having more choices than just the buffet or one restaurant of which we stood in line each day from 7-8am to get a decent time reservation -for food we had some great food some so so. ALMA ! definitely made our stay ..she was at the adult pool bar and made the best drinks and very friendly.I would return there but hope they can up the staff help and open more restaurants. Too many time share folks too in the lobby for my liking.

Quiet Location
We went down to Cabo to surf and enjoy some warm weather. The Intercontinental Presidente was a good place to stay, it was at the end of Hotel Row and was a place to come back to and relax without having to put up with traffic noise or the hustle and bustle of the rest of Cabo. The hotel staff was helpful and very friendly, the food was average, but it was all-inclusive, so we can't complain. The beach in front of the hotel has very litte foot traffic, almost deserted so another level of privacy, but the ocean there is a little rough if you want to just play around or swim in the water.

Short drive from hotel
Surfing is only a 5 minute drive from the hotel, you can find Zippers, La Roca and Old Mans right next to each other and not ery crowded, park on the beach and not have to stay at one of the more expensive surf hotels.

Wk of March 20th, Great Relaxing Vac
Our accomodations were not what we were told though we did have an awesome oceanview but no balcony or patio, when I called a week before we were told we had a balcony. It took 3 days and we had to pay for an upgrade to get a patio. Still great view though. Other then that everything was wonderful.. The resort is very clean and well kept, beautiful grounds. The food is good, not great but good enough for the value. Drinks flowed well lol. Entertainment was very awful, low budget and just terrible. If you want a low key, quiet, secluded vacation this is the place. This is not the place for the mexico high pressure experience. No vendors, and no activities close so keep that in mind.
